- On board AC 010 from NRT to YYC with a bumpy approach and landing on a sunny, though windy September day in 2013. Filmed with iphone 4S. Sorry for crappy sound. Boeing 767-300ER
I would like to fly this route one day! I always like seeing this big bird take off every afternoon...pretty cool that Calgary has a non-stop connection to Tokyo.
Absolutely love it, amazing view of the entire city, especially downtown! Pretty windy approach and hard landing! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks again!
As a resident of SE Calgary, nice to see the familiar territory, including the base turn to final not far from my home. Haven't been on this particular flight, but have made many trips back to YYC on the approach and landing on the old 34, now 35L.
Yes I love landing on 35L on a clear day. I grew up in Lake Bonavista and Deer Run so I always enjoy the approach to 35L. I currently live near the Glenmore Reservoir so this particular approach was a very nice one for me. Thanks for the comment!
Great video! I love the very scenic approach.
Thanks! It was one of the most scenic approaches I've ever had into Calgary
A little chop makes it fun. Great camera work.
