      +Jay S Flying HK to Vancouver is an epic flight. The plane goes all the way up to east coast Russia along Chinese border, across to Alaska, then down western Canada (not a straight line as such). Lovely to see land Vancouver...

    Great view of downtown, second narrows, north shore, Mr Baker, valley and Richmond. You are lucky that you got the chance to capture North, East and South, all three directions of the city. Lovely video buddy. I have never flown with Cathay. May be next time on my way to Delhi. Cheers.

    that is really cool with the camera on the belly of the plane to see all what is happening and when landing. I usually fly delta but i dont think any of their planes have this. Or do they?

    It's almost the same approach from France but we were flying over North Vancouver after turn and flying over rockies or coastal mountains ( idk how you definite it )

    Those are not the Rocky Mountains, they are the Coast Mountains. The Rocky Mountain range is along the BC and Alberta border.

    2:35 Wow, Vancouver's water is dirty!

    • @chelseanoble3772
      @chelseanoble3772 10 лет назад +1

      That's actually the Fraser River and it's not "dirty". At different times of the year it becomes full of silt due to run off waters from the different mountain ranges.

      We have one of, if not the cleanest and freshest drinking water. Especially from the tab. We have some of the cleanest water in the world.

    • @heronimousbrapson863
      @heronimousbrapson863 5 лет назад

      That's silt in the Fraser river washing out from the BC interior; perfectly natural. That is what the delta islands south of Vancouver are made of, and why they are so fertile for agriculture.

      100 times better, Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world

    • @Gencturk92
      @Gencturk92 10 лет назад

      gary johal Yeah it is a very beautiful city, for me anywhere in Canada is beautiful. So if I came to Canada, shall I visit Vancouver first ? I did hear some negatives, that there are homeless people and its expensive. Are there lot of job opportunities and how long does it take to get a job ? Is it a safe city where you don't see people getting killed or anything like that.

    • @VanEmergencyNews
      @VanEmergencyNews 9 лет назад

      *****
      Late reply however, Vancouver is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It's also very safe. Yes, we do have a high homeless rating however you'll only see them in the Downtown Eastside which isnt somewhere you'd normally be around.
      Very very safe city to be in, our starting wage is $10.25/h I believe. Not very hard to get a job really... anywhere from 3days to a week to get one.

    • @Gencturk92
      @Gencturk92 9 лет назад

      VanEmergencyNews I think Alberta is better, it has a low unemployment rate, more job opportunities, the air is so clean and beautiful places to see. Vancouver comes second for me, I don't know about Toronto. What about Winnipeg and Saskatchewan ?

    • @VanEmergencyNews
      @VanEmergencyNews 9 лет назад

      Alberta where exactly? You're comparing an province with a city. However yes, Alberta's got some beautiful places. Lake Lousie or around that area.... Perfect.
