I've watched probably 5 others play the beginning of this game and played through it myself and I just realized what the intro was. It didn't make much sense, but when you said, "Is this a Scrooge thing?" that's the thought I had just before you said it!

just a heads up to anyone that is 100% this game - when u beat main story - u start new game + - it unlocks the full map for u - but starts all missions over - but u save your LV . and items/ so on - so its best to beat main game then - do game + for 100% run aka the map unlock is best thing ever - p.s its huge

This will be my preferred walkthrough for this great game even though you’ve just recently played it. Kinda surprised at that since Dragons Dogma sets the standard and is a beloved RPG. Shame on you Cohh for overlooking it 😂

*heavy sigh*...This is not a dramatic goodbye. Still, it's been bugging me for long enough to wanna mention it.
I enjoy creators, who can be funny at times, but can also appreciate a scene that is supposed to be serious or aesthetic. I also highly value when creators make the game the focus of their content.
Cohh, you used to be all those things for me, but for a while now, when I watch your streams/vods, I feel very distracted from what is going on in the game. The games on stream feel more like the backdrop for discussions about game design, and lots of goofs. Plus talking over a lot of things to talk with chat about completely unrelated things. Plus all the phone calls and interruptions. Plus literally putting loot first above everything else.
I still commend you for all the work you put into your community. You still do an amazing job overall. But I wasn't able to connect with the intro to the game at all, because you barely connected with it. Talking, pausing, seemingly not caring whats going on, searching for loot, talking to every minor NPC to the point it just feels like you are making fun of the game. Sure, this isn't the most important part of the game, but it is supposed to set the mood a bit.
I guess I will see if I can get the game to run on my PC or otherwise look for other creators who emotionally engage with the game at all. Because I'd rather engage with a game, rather than just going through the motions a la "I've seen a thousand games. Lets just see how this one does.".
This has become more and more of a sore spot, across a variety of games I've watched you play, for months now. I will still check in on what you are up to on occasion. I know that some of the points I listed here can't be helped and/or pose a difficult balance to be struck. I'm also aware that my own mood plays into this. I just hope that whatever it is, changes, so I can enjoy your content again.

Quick Question: Only thing I didn't like about DD1 was your attributes were given to you upon level up based on your class (Thus forcing you to play certain classes at certain times if you wanted to min-max) Did they get rid of that in 2?
To be fair, you never had to minmax to beat the game even on hardest difficulty..
They did change it so now your stats are based on your current class so you dont need to worry about what you level with.

No they didn’t, but it doesn’t affect it nearly as much as it did in dd1. Gear affects it more. Go watch FightingCowboys video he put out today about it.

Cohh's intro is exactly what DD devs wanted him to say. For me I didn't get the original was like what he said at all. It was a game released in its day, it did what it did and that's that.
His intro isn't what he was told to say, he wasn't told to say anything. He just got peeved at DD1 when he missed important side quests and so he rushed through the game after that...but in BBI he struggled as you don't get the levels you need if you just rush it

If your land is doing good enough that you are having little parties there... why would you NEED (let alone want) some person to be "royalty". This doesn't make sense, like asking for someone to come along taking anything they want from you, make demands that you have to follow, and almost certainly cause conflicts that likely aren't going to do anything besides cause a lot of suffering for the general population.
i'll be the one to ask... how will this game be affecting the ff7 rebirth playthough?

Please please please can Cohh videos be uploaded in higher resolutions! Its such as shame that the videos are blurry in higher paced games when other streamers/youtubers are creating higher bitrate uploads. I love watching Cohh's videos but the low quality visuals let the videos down in my opinion. Please upload at higher resolutions!
So later in the year I should be able to multi-stream to YT/Twitch so we'll really take a look at this around that time!

Man I wanna play this but I honestly don't know if my 3050ti laptop can handle it. It's shaping up to be a beast. Forbidden West today as well on PC!
CPU is the issue with this game more than GPU apparently. Frustrating because it doesn't even look that good. But apparently even beast tier PCs can't hold 60fps. Another un optimized release it looks like, will wait for a sale
@@antonego9581Well I waited as well haha. Just got it on sale on Steam for $40. Definitely glad I waited cuz so far it seems to be running extremely well and looks incredible. If ya haven't played it yet, it's on sale until like next week on Steam. Seems worth it for sure at $40, although I'm sure it'll drop more.

the reason everyone has the shits with the game is because if you run out of fast travel stones you have to pay to fast travel, until that is removed why would anyone but a streamer buy this game

No, Dragons dogma 2 is not a continuation of the older game, its a great starting off point if you want to watch this first and the other second.

Because The Witcher 3 on PS5 is a remaster of an already great looking game. That and Japanese developers don't generally prioritize the graphics of their games.

This feels like Skyrim levels of voice acting. Same actors. Lots of repeats. That means nothing for the rest of the game, but it's not a great 1st impression. The first few hours of any game are the most important, to hook the player.
This is such a disappointment ! The fact that some indie games never see the light of day and are absolutely amazing but a triple A budget title can suck. Is too much for me to support, hopefully DD2 Gets better or I will never take Capcom serious when it comes to rpg's.
