I'll be honest, great nice lines BUT i'm quessing he used 14-18 liner and that is way too thick i would not recomend too thick lines like this. Within 10 years they will look even more thicker and then they don't look anymore so nice. I would use bugpin 9L. So the work would look lot crisper and has more of lifespan to stay beautiful. Otherwise good job!
This is excellent work and Very Beautiful But I would have loved to get some explanation.... Needlesize, depht, speed and voltage...things like that....or brand of machine etc
That’s different for every person not only for different power supply’s/tattoo machines but the voltage used depends on an individual’s hand speed. The numbers are not important the technique is what matters.
@@lukedorrington7455 As a beginner I can say that I am curious (and a lot of other people) what speed they use. I'm not saying that you have to copy and do exactly as they do. It's just easier to find your ideal speed and technique, it's help a lot.
@@Ramblingrose90 my advice to you would be to set your machine to say 4 volts then run a line, wipe it off and see if it’s crisp if not go up a volt and try again repeat until you have a crisp line then you will have found your own lining voltage for your hand speed. I wasn’t having a dig at you I was just pointing out that another tattooists voltage setting is irrelevant to you as yours will be different as you will tattoo differently, have different equipment etc
@@Ramblingrose90 depends if you use rotary or coil machines also depends on the needle size bro I run Bishop machines and for thick trad lines I’ll run at about 8.5 volts where as thinner lines I’ll run at about 7.5 I’d say start at 7 volts and go from there if the lines aren’t going in right turn up the voltage or slow your hand speed down if you have blowouts turn down the voltage/speed up your hand
Shader is easier, specially when you have to make tighter curves and nice lines. This is kind of debatable as some guys saying that people use shaders because they don't know how to use liners. Honestly, unless it's a fine line tattoo, I don't see a different with RL or RS. My japanese artist always use shader for thick lines and it looks amazing and hurts not so much too. It's depending on the artist I would say. Re the voltage, I think it really matters depending on your machine and the power supply. Having a cheyenne machine and a critical power supply might run the machine at 6.5V but a low quality machine and chinese power supply could be 8V, this is my personal opinion 🙂
He uses Dragonink and the Mast pen ..the cartridges are the mast pro blue carts ( 14rs and 15rm ..yes shader for getting solid big lines) for all they ask always the same :)
Your using a shader? If so which one? And how do you keep your stencil there without wiping it off? I have trouble when it comes to the stencil staying
I can never get solid lines like these with a rs. I usually just run 2 passes with a 9rl. One of the things I’m known for is my line work/lettering an I still can’t do it for some reason lol
Am learning how to tattoo am ok with like but when i come to color its getting hard to do it i used fake skin its ok but on real skin i cant make it work Like your doing your black I practice on my self and was messy maybe am running hight voltage or the niddle to far out any advice ?
Why have the title of the video saying "How to tattoo a line correctly" and just have us watching u do it?? Watching u do it isnt telling me shit?!?! U do great line work but how about explaining the more finer details. Because im just watching u tattoo and not gaining one stick of informative information!! #justsayin
To the scratchers trying to learn from a youtube video instead of learning the right way really need to stop. Absolutely beautiful linework. This is the perfect definition of handspeed to machine speed.

I hope to be a tattoo artist one day but damn I could happily watch people tattoo all day
Same xD
Omg those lines looks so perfect ❤️
Amazing work 😍
Great work,im from Argentina,good ink!!!
Una de mis artistas favoritas, excelente tatuadora un saludos.
oh my god, what machine is so beautiful
Absolutely awesome work 👍🏻
😍😍😍 so clean
This is excellent work and Very Beautiful
But I would have loved to get some explanation....
Needlesize, depht, speed and voltage...things like that....or brand of machine etc
I think it’s an 18 round shader dude because of the size of the lines and thickness if it was a round liner the lines would be a more think
I have said this over a dozen times them lines are crispy and solid
Your stencils always look so clean! What printer do you use ?
Chévere, saludos desde Perú, aprendo bastante con ustedes. Muchas gracias.
Can you also add what power do you use while tattooing? It will also be of great help :)

What needle was used and ink? I love the lines
I really love your line work. What cartridges are you using 9n this one? Round shader?
Why you always use RS for lining rather than RL? 😊
Good question, and also what power you use to make the lines look so nice?
@@Ramblingrose90 i'm also wondering if the lines will stay crsip when it heals.
for many thick lines your standard rl can't even get that thick

Will the lines still look crisp after healing because you're using a Shader???
Tried it. Yes it works

If you are going super thick better make the tattoo huge. Could have a nice blob in 20 years

Wow.. Can u share what needle u use for lining? And voltage aswell.
it is in the description 14rs , voltage depends on the machine and hand speed.
Your work is amazing 💯
Hola! Muy bonito trabajo, como logras una línea sólida con la aguja 14rs??
Your using a shader? If so which one? And how do you keep your stencil there without wiping it off? I have trouble when it comes to the stencil staying
Use a good stencil solution.
Let the stencil sit for 20-30 minutes before starting the tattoo.
@@crystalking5550 right.
Dab your lines while tattooing don't wipe
Ridin that tube
I love u 2!!! the best

How come the needle is moving so smoothly? Is it different frm the normal tattoos?
I believe it’s their technique , they’re moving from their elbow not their wrist
can you videos with real time speed, so that we can catch up with the actual of the tube/needle running against the skin
😴
Fevkalade 🤩
omg i love mandala you are perfect. !! 💯💯
Muy buen trabajo!!! Un saludo
The lines are made with the shader needle??? 😮😮😮
Am I correct, you used 14 round shader for the lining?
