Marshay was pretty fair to Kamari. She gave her 4’s and 5’s.
Um...Kamari literally gave herself a 0 for smell, 5 for texture and a 3.5 rating for taste. How is that her being "not biased" toward her own food? Now Marshay did the most by adding chicken to her pasta so she would know which one was hers, for sure. Then gave herself 5's across the board. That's not right, people need to just be fair.
@@kikibigbangfan3540 That may just be how she makes her. Since it’s not authentic, I don’t believe there is a specific recipe or right or wrong way to make it. Apparently they were thrown off by the mushrooms in the guys pasta.
That's typically how women are. Men are more honest and fair.
Reminds me of that red velvet cake challenge!
My Original Rasta Pasta introduction was the veggie pasta that you get from Ital Rasta chef… It’s made with pasta, veggies and beans, no meat. So I’m always confused when I see Rasta Pasta with meat. The Ital Rasta pasta is Jamaican, this Rasta pasta with meat isn’t Jamaica.
Agreed. I thought Rasta Pasta was vegan hence the name. I learned how to make it with coconut milk, veggies, jerk seasonings , fresh herbs and pasta. That’s it.
So we not gonna talk about that 29.5 to 31.5 point change 👀
I've never heard anyone in Jamaica cook anything name Rasta Pasta and I've been here all my life.
Why would you tell them it is their food after they ate it? cause now she obviously rated the other ones “lower” cause she knew which one was hers! Does that make sense!? like don’t give them any hints and wait till they taste all of them. Or give them all 3 lined up right away and make them taste it one by one and give their opinion right there. Like come on
I think they give them their own pasta last, just to keep it fair but then put the clips in order when they edit.
Marshay’s reaction had me HOLLERRRRING 😭😭😭😂😂✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
Rasta pasta is made in Jamaica however, it is ITAL. The guy tried his best to not add any meat, everybody else with chicken, that’s just chicken pasta with less sauce. In the Rasta pastas I’ve had, it had beans and chickpeas never chicken or any meat that’s Rasta. Idk what I just watched.
When I saw meat I was confused af too 🤣
@@kelayard5427 So confused but apparently dem a real yardie 😂😂😂, this isn’t Jamaican that’s all they’re saying and talking about jerk season. However if you are a Jamaican, we know that anything Rasta have to be ITAL. Disappointed 😂😂
i tried
Where in Jamaica cause I've never seen it
I always gotta big up the producers for the blindfolds lol… and now I gotta salute the edits on this, all of them was talking spicy and the edits got them looking crazy
Please use real Jamaicans like the guy in the video and please let them make real Jamaican dishes like ackee and saltfish, Rasta pasta is an American dish
😂😂😂😂I know some born in Brooklyn NY sound just like him
I feel like they should have specified Jamaican Americans in the title because ive never heard of rasta pasta. That is definitely an American Jamaican thing. So it would make sense for no yardie Jamaicans to do this.
I'm glad Dreebo is back
I was raised in a Rastafarian-American household and none of these are Rasta Pasta as I know it 😂 At least Daniels doesnt have dead carcass in it😂😂
Selah
Mate I thought the same why is there animal in a Rasta dish tho
Y’all went in 😂 it was all in good fun! Im definitely gonna make it again on IG to redeem myself lol 😆
Yall should try to find some st.lucians 🇱🇨
Idgaf If It’s not Jamaican it taste sooooooo good
The first one looked sooo dry
Dreebo’s skin is perfecccccttt
😊 thank you!
Never heard of Rasta Pasta until this video! So is it: Alfredo (or some other diary based sauce) and jerked chicken?? Also, the first lady had her mask on upside down and over her nose and was like “I can’t smell anything!” 😂😂😂😂😂 Dreebo such a LA Boy! I love his swag! 🔥 👌🏽
It’s more Cajun pasta than Alfredo
Lol what can ii say I’m from LA 🤷🏿♂️
Its if chicken and alfredo pasta had a baby and it was a boy you named him rasta pasta 😂😂
Alfredo with jerk seasoning
I love a chicken shrimp Rasta pasta
I Just Love When They Have To Try Their Own Dish Blind Folded…… How Do You Not Know Your Own Cooking 🤣😭
I just want to be a guest judge 😂 unless y’all do southern food… or drinks. Sweet Tea! Yes, so drinks because all sweet tea is not all equal 😐😂
If I was on death row, my last meal would have to have my son’s Rasta Pasta. Chicken, shrimp, sausage, cheese, seasonings… omg. The best!
This is a really new Jamaican-American recipe. I am a 🇯🇲🇺🇲; and I ain't realize this existed until a few years ago.
Where is the ackee and salfish challenge tho.
You can tell pretty fast that Marshay's was just cooked better than everyone else's regardless of whatever her flavoring was. Just being good at preparing and preserving your food and not letting it get dry or soggy will always put you ahead.
It looks like the results were mixed up by the shape of the pasta, marshay was the one on the left and kamari was the one in the middle in the final taste test
Dope to have them judge their own and break down the categories... Y'all levelin up! 😎🔥👀
Please never kid rid of the blind folds because I love this.
I'm so glad they said it from the start cause I'm like.... I'm a Jamaican living in Jamaica and this is the FIRST time I've heard of this
I would love to see some authentic stew chicken , barb chick ,cow foot soup
"cow foot soup" 💀💀💀
@@kareemabduljacandybar4558 u must not have heard of it or like it . It’s a Jamaican cusine and it’s delicious
@@ladylarue9786 Really? when I made the Trinidadian cow heel soup, people were shocked. Is it specific to a parish?
I like what Danile did and said, that is REAL RASTA PASTA!!! Rasta don't eat meat!! Coca butter you should have had a rasta/vegan as the last judge!!!!
Have you seen the other episodes? 😆 And in the behind the scene episode they reveal that ppl cheat and buy the dish sometimes as well 🤷🏾♀️
@@LG_Hakubi yeah you're right, and I have watched all episodes!🙂
Rasta Pasta was created by a female Jamaican chef in Negril Jamaica. Negril is a tourist area so that could explain why the male contestant never ate it in Jamaica.
3:13 “smell, I give it a 0, I don’t smell anything” (with the mask over her nose)
Marshay said you're supposed to whine a little while you eat but she didn't even do that with her own dish. Or did I miss something? 👀
Also I need Dreebo's jacket 😍😍
I'm glad they said what they said cause outta all my years of life I ain't NEVA heard of rasta pasta my mom nor my aunts and uncles have ever cooked this..or even mention it
Am I the only one who noticed they did the score wrong at the end? They switched Kamari and Marshay's original score
that tripped me out
Ah weh dis, a rendition of cool running the culinary session.
Only one Jamaican here.
Kamari’s score jumped from 29.5 to 31! How sway??
Should’ve been 33.5 smh
7:03 That is some of the best acting i have seen in a while.
It's amazing to me they can't tell the food they cooked. 😂😂😂😂
they got her reacting to her own shit, she said more seasoning. im dead
