I'm amazed that this conversation is happening at all, and wanted to speak on the subject... I'm sure this dialogue may be triggering for some, and there's surely a lot more areas that were left undiscussed in this video. For instance - addressing the clear controversy and issue of men identifying in women's sports, and then destroying the unfair competition... But that said, this is a starting place for the dialogue.

I think I take issue with the need to label ourselves. Personally, I am a biological female with sometimes very masculine tendencies and presentation. Other days I feel very feminine. I don’t understand how that could change my gender. What is wrong with being a masculine woman? Can we accept biological reality and the laws of nature yet still accept ourselves as non conforming beings? I think as we head into a new age, the pendulum is swinging very far to one side and people might be taking the labeling a little far as we try to collectively balance our masculine and feminine energies. Just a thought. And obviously only from my personal perspective and experience.
You make a great point though. We need to be very clear about our definitions of gender and sex when speaking about this topic! There’s so much unnecessary confusion. Communication!
Also, I don’t quite understand feeling like a man or a woman. Feeling masculine or feminine I totally get. It’s the experiences that make us feel like a man or woman. For example, I am half black and half white. There is no way to FEEL like a black person or a white person. You can get treated as one, but it’s only the experience that can make you feel like one or the other. There are 2 sexes but gender is not a thing. Gender is a label we gave ourselves based on our sexes. To differentiate for social purposes. So it's not really a thing outside our own minds. What we think about it. The only thing important is sex. Mostly due to medical purposes because some things are strictly female and some strictly male when it comes to treating us medically.

Identification feeds the ego. Ego puts a person into boxes and boxes put people into confides and restrict growth.
That is a very good way of looking at things, for the most part - but ego and personality need to be thoroughly broken down and understood better.
Here i'm really looking forward to the queer community to move post-classical in terms of gender. I think that's the ultimate destination for a cultural construct of gender, as we move society further forward. I truly believe if we keep progressing, it will eliminate the problems that stem from and lead to making these distinctions of identity.
Remember, the soul has no gender. Ultimately, deep down our Self is God and you are that. That is what Yeshua referred to when talking about all of us, having realized that in his own being saying that "I and the father are One". Now we are having these physical bodies so we can experience this realm as souls. The conversation right now seems to be people who think there are infinite genders, and are demanding everyone agree with them while using social capital to “cancel” those who don’t agree vs people who say there are only 2 genders, but have no heart or empathy to listen to others’ valid experiences in this complicated thing we call life (many in this comment section, dare I say, seem to be a part of group 2 and haven’t even listened to what you said).
This is the type of nuanced take we need, but don’t hear often enough!

As a basic video explaining the expanse of gender identity and spirituality, this does very well. I think the explanation of different levels is very well put, however not everyone fits into these molds. In a more advanced topic, there are those who are intersex at birth and despite chromosomes or identification by doctors, people grow up being entirely uncomfortable with what they've been assigned. Allowing everyone to cater to their own experiences and transform themselves into who they want to be is a harmonic expression of their soul, and how they feel. Transgenderism and even demigenderism or agenderism is a way to become who you are inside and through your soul. A very small portion of people have a negative experience with testing the waters and finding their identity but all I've seen who choose this direction are happier and healthier than they ever were before, and I include myself in that. Thank you for the video. ❤

The key concern I have with the issue is the fact that females sometimes need separate spaces from males, such as refugees bathrooms, and changing rooms and sporting competitions. But many people who have beliefs about gender identity Weaponize those beliefs in ways that can be used to take away those female only spaces.

Being who I am and what I’ve gone through and do everyday I value this message of truth you shared. Very well said. And very much needed these days. I feel like people put way too much weight on labeling stuff, instead of just accepting who they truly are and going with the flow.
In the western psychology there is a concept that each individual has their feminine and masculine aspect - animus and anima. One of which is more dominant, one less dominant. So for example, I’d say I am around 60%(ish) feminine, 40%(ish) masculine. Basically, I am a guy whose personality traits are more feminine than masculine. And I see absolutely NO REASON for myself to start using different pronouns or different grammar.
Can I simply be a feminine dude? Just like that. No pronouns, no b. s. Can we just acknowledge that we all do have feminine and masculine aspects within ourselves in different ratios? That’s all there is to it. It’s as simple as that. Do we really have to come up with all this non-binary-neopronouns stuff? To me, it’s completely unnecessary, it’s like reinventing the wheel all over again.
We can stretch even further back in time to ancient China, to the concept of Yin and Yang. My point is - the concept of feminine and masculine aspects coexisting within the psyche of one person is nothing new. It’s been around for ages. There is absolutely no need to overcomplicate it, no need to make such a fuss around it.

thank you….I’ve never understood why I think the way I do and understand the male and female energy and why I consider myself both within a male body. It's all essentialy the blending of divine masculine and feminine energies. If I am to be blunt, the possibility of there being infinite genders sounds absurd to be, since, like I've mentioned, it's all just a mixing and matching of the two divine energies. That's simple enough to comprehend. But yes, at the end of the day, you don't need to be totally concerned about your gender if you're just being you without pushing your opinion onto others.
Gender identity does raise a certain low vibe energy within me, 'cuz as I see it, it complicates how you address another if you don't wanna be mean or rude to someone. And then there's the tedious solutions that appear, which either become burdensome for me, the one I address, or the both of us.
Maybe I don't have the mindset suitable for this talk, and maybe I shouldn't post this opinion of mine because this is probably not my place to talk. But perspectives are necessary for the middleground.

I think the word "gender" has two layers: biological and sociological. I think when someone doesn't want to be label as anything, they're only refusing the sociological responsibility that's tied with the label itself, male or female. For example when a man identifies themselves as a woman, they only seek the sociological response that's fitting with the label itself from their social environment. I'm happy to respect that and don't understand what the big deal is. Labels are limiting anyways.

I like the multidimensional model of sex and gender. I wish more people would use this model. There are only two sexes. But the word gender can mean whatever you want it to mean and therefore I can be as many as you want. The term becomes meaningless very quickly because of this. I wish the people who believed there were hundreds of genders would also subscribed to the multidimensional model of sex and gender, and acknowledge that sex is objective and binary, and gender can be whatever you want to be. However, this is not what I see, I see, people try to assert that sex is a social construct, and is not real. You can see this belief in phrases like assigned male at birth. When we talk about gender/sex, there are two. End of story.
What is indeed a spectrum are the roles, which we can call "gender roles," varying between archetypal masculine or feminine traits.
I, for example, being an artist, would say I incorporate more feminine energy, but I am still a biological man.
My role differs from the typical masculine guy who is working hard and climbing up the corporate ladder; I just don't like that kind of lifestyle.
The real interesting question is: Are the archetypical roles relative to western culture, or "god given"?... I don't have an answer for that.

The tragic and damaging thing that this gender identity debate has resulted in is the harm done to children. You have a normal, healthy child experiencing puberty. They feel confused and insecure and like a pack of wolves these ideologs insist that it's because they're transgender. The child then immediately gets put on very strong hormone treatment that irreversibly changes their physical development and has numerous dangerous side effects. The child then starts to sense that they've made a mistake and the ideologs insist that their discomfort is because they need to go even further and get surgery. Once the surgery is done, a child that would have been happy and healthy instead becomes a lifelong medical patient with constant feelings that they've made a mistake. If they ever try to reverse the process, not only will they never get fully back to normal, but they will also be accosted by the very same people who encouraged them to transition in the first place.
It's not as simple as respecting people's viewpoints. It's about recognizing the financial and ideological interests in transitioning people who shouldn't be transitioned. It's a multi-billion dollar industry, and people who transition are treated as a protected class with special privileges by left wing groups. They get this impenetrable shield where any criticism against them leads to the critic being accused of transphobia. Laws on the books will literally send people to prison for hate speech if a trans person merely feels like a comment was transphobic. They get preferential treatment in hiring to fulfill diversity quotas.
The bottom line is that all of this gender identity stuff needs to end. People will look back on this moment in history in disbelief that we ever allowed things to get this far.

I know for a fact that in the human species the basic model is female. I've met a child of a younger generation who has 22 pairs of chromisomes and a single X-- and that's it. She's a girl. This is so true and there is another missing aspect to this: for some people like myself, I had the beginnings of gender dysphoria that was created from many traumas - however I was able to get the help I needed and no longer have any issues about my gender and the dysphoria went away. I believe there are MANY people going though gender dysphoria as a mental health issue, but are not being given the help they need to resolve the underlying trauma and are then told "they need to be a different gender" which creates huge future problems for many of them if they start making physical changes to their body.
Its all on purpose, my friend.

We humans love categorizing things. It's not a bad thing, it's helped us survive and understand our often dangerous world. But just because we create a definition for something, doesn't mean that it's then the hard fast rule for existence.
Ask a few scientists a few dozen years ago where a Fungus belongs on the Taxonomy chart, and you'd get a few different answers. Because the standards and definitions we created didn't have a place for it yet, but we still would try to squeeze it in somewhere because IT JUST HAS TO FIT IN OUR CREATED BOXES.
And if nature has plants and animals outside our hard and fast gender/sex standards (plants/animals that produce asexually, animals that change gender, heck look up animals with Gynandromorphism... they're beautiful), they are seen in our eyes as 'exceptions' to the rule that are "not right, not how it 'should' be." We have a really really hard time (to the point of literally ending each other), seeing that maybe our definitions aren't as perfect and final as we want them to be.
Let's be honest, if nature evolved the majority of the planet, including humans, to be asexual, we'd be going after other humans who exhibit only male or female traits. Humans love to be angry about SOMETHING. ANYTHING. Because our brains warn us something that is different than what we are used to could end us. We don't stop and tell our brains, hold on Fam, we're safe, there's no need for this angst and animosity. We foam at the mouth for threats we created ourselves. We hate because of manmade definitions.
Remember we are experiencing this world, well, with the human experience. When we are gone, nature is just going to keep evolving in the easiest way possible to survive. It doesn't care about what humans think. There are no rules, just a push to continue life. Nature doesn't work on SHOULD, or ALWAYS. It just does.

I still think you're missing something there. The two biological sexes have their binaries, and this is a yin and yang sort of relationship, even at level 1.
Physically, it is not "extremely rare" for nature to throw us curve balls when we are too rigid in our descriptions of reality. As you even go on to describe, there is this whole array of characteristics... That is true on all three levels. For example, both particular organs are OFTEN manifested onto the same body at once.
(The likelihood is extremely low, that's one thing, but it's another thing if you could fill a city with such people. Is a whole city of people extremely rare? See, the argument breaks down.)
