    Loving to see that Pause keeps innovating and continually improving stuff. What a great manufacturer to be working with.

    If Pause had a similar model like the HQ21 with a separate bedroom, it would be great.

    I love the continual updates, growth and attention to detail that Pause manufacturer continues to show. A couple of questions regarding the updates though:
    1) When you were showing the battery compartment, I didn't see the Lynx Distributor there. Has it been eliminated in the newer models, or is it just hidden from view in behind everything else?
    2) Is there any data available regarding the temperature range (coldest and hottest) the Pause units will operate in?
    3) Is there still an option to add a second 3, 000 watt inverter/charger?
    Thanks.

    These Pause trailers are nearing perfection! But, are the roofs still sealed with, what I call goop that needs to be serviced/replaced every year?
    Also, does Pause have any plans to redesign how they mount their solar panels? Imperial Outdoors method is far superior to the way Pause currently mounts theirs.
    Imperial Outdoors uses that roof rack system that mounts into the side rails which reduces the number of holes in the roof and allows for better airflow under the panels. If Pause changed over to a similar roof mounting system as Imperial Outdoors, they would be near-perfect!
    The only other improvement I could think of after doing that, would be a "from the factory" Starlink roof mounted dish, and a pre-wired cell booster/Wi-fi booster antenna internet system.

      Like he mentioned in the video there are many more changes but he went over some of the major… Well, you will be happy to hear it is getting closer to perfection. Yes, they are now elevating the panels and utilizing the roof rack system to install the panels. It’s not the exact same as Imperial but it is similar. They are working on offering a “from factory Starlink” TBD. Yes, the lovely “goop” is still used… that is the same with everything we carry including Imperial. Hard to get away from that unless you are doing a one piece mold.

    The Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus water heater is the best water heater, in my opinion.

    Love the continuous videos and updates! Good job Shane, you’re probably busy enough but someday it would be cool to max out some half tons and match them with trailers. Then match the 2500/3500 trucks with the heavier models from GM, Ford, and Ram. Although you’ve done this a bit already always good info.

    If you travel in areas that are overgrown that rhino liner sounds good. I had a spray in bed liner put on my old trailer. Over the years rock chips make a mess of fiberglass shell and bed liner is easily repairable. When my X 195 begins to show ware I expect I will then have a spray on bed liners applied.

    When traveling in cold weather, can you turn the heater on in the trailer on from tow vehicle with phone app 30 min prior to stopping for the evening as a pre-heat.

    Besides the bunkbeds, the main thing that this has that I have yet to see in any other is the battery/inverter system being away from where you sleep. Everyone seems to put the electrical system, which creates massive EMF, under the beds. I really appreciate this being towards the back, separate, from the sleeping area. These guys were really thinking, I hope.

      Thanks for the comment. It is actually not next to the bunk beds either. It is behind the shower/bathroom in the rear storage area. 😊

      Seems to be my pick for off road trailers. First I need to buy a truck. Lol

    Why a black tank, especially with new toilet options!!! We want more fresh water capacity, just saying???

    • @ROAOffRoad
      @ROAOffRoad  5 месяцев назад +2

      It is easy to add any toilet. This unit has 76 gallons of water which is the most of any off road trailer in this class.

    Will the instant hot water be available on the XC 16.4?

    • @ROAOffRoad
      @ROAOffRoad  5 месяцев назад +2

      Unfortunately no, there is not enough space and they use the Truma Combi which duals as both the hot water and furnace. It is a great product but does not do instant.

    the Pause trailers feature tons of innovation, but they really haven't addressed the instability of the bigger trailers caused by the short tongue, excessive height, and rearward weighting of the batteries/electronics and dual spares hanging off the back.

    just awesome trailer..but yet to see anything like this on the trail where we go with our Off grid expedition trailer. Yes these are off road capable, but good luck doing this on real trails where Off grid truly is. But for those who wont venture very far off road this will do. way too big for real world trails
