😭 Leaving *comment* and a *like* but cannot bear to watch this film again. 🥺🐾
I understand and appreciate your support.
@@AwesomeUSMoviesCan you plz react to the show Full house?!?
My 10 1/2 year old dog is showing me signs that she is slipping. It makes me so sad to think about letting her go, but she is one of the most important things to have come into my life. I will cherish the time I have left with her and remember her forever.
His books about Marley are honestly really good
I'll check them out
@@AwesomeUSMovies 👍🏻
Well done. Now you will graduate to Hachi: A Dog's Tale. :( Good luck with that one.
I’m not touching that one with a ten foot pole. But, I’ve heard good things for those that want to ruin their month lol.
@@MarnieGolde7 Year. 😫😂
Everyone should see it once tho.
Nooo! Not Hachi! 😭😭😭
Where The Red Fern Grows is probably an even harder watch... Followed closely by Eight Below.
You were set-up my friend! I'm amazed how much composure you kept, first time I saw this movie I was a wreck! Every memory of every pet I ever had came flooding back.
This movie is a heartbreaker for any dog lover. ❤
The guy who played Sebastian is likely most widely known for his long standing role on Grey’s Anatomy. He played Dr Mark “McSteamy” Sloan.
Cat owner too. My cat TC just passed Nov 1st last year. He was my boy. It crushed me, saying goodbye 😭
Hachi: A Dogs Tail is a MUST SEE at least once to appreciate the beauty of an animals love ❤️
3 years ago during covidmy dog kiva had to be put down after having 3 strokes over 2 days and could no longer stand up. i had her 16 years and i couldnt even go in to be with her when they put her to sleep because of covid. This movie broke me hard. it took me 2 years before i could even think of her without tearing up, dogs are family.
She knew you were with her. What a painful privilege to love a dog so much and be loved back tenfold in return.
Never seen this movie till I watched it with you. Boy did I miss out. Think I'll watch the whole thing later. Great Reaction (real reaction). Damned thing made me cry too.
It's worth a full watch
My Dog Silas passed away a few years ago so hearing this movie was requested by “Silas” meant a lot 🥹
hachi, a dogs journey+purpose, a dogs way home (all great), & sad af!
Alan Arkin was great in everything he was in!!!
One of my favorite movies. But top animal movie that's a favorite for me, is Homeward Bound. and Beethoven. But there are a few great ones. But those are out of dog movies.
😭😭😭 every time❤
“ Is this movie gonna make me cry?”
YES
Oh yeah, for sure
Omg! This movie is awesome! I cried so much during this. I love dogs and had to go home and hug mine after seeing this. So glad you saw and reacted to this.
Yeah, this movie broke my ex boyfriend. He vowed never to watch it ever again. The memories of his old dog was too much.
Yup! I was right there sobbing with you 😭
Great reaction To a great dog movie. You know it's a good movie when makes you laugh and cry.
Especially for somebody who loves dogs.
P.s. the dog trainer has also played in a few episodes of Friends.
And Napoleon Dynamite
Sorry, the lady who sold the dog....
This is always hard to watch. Had to see a bunch of dogs go in my life. But even though so hurtful when it happens, I wouldn't wanna be without one. They give us so much and even the day will come again to say goodbye, it was worth it. "Hachi" would be a great next movie. For me even more touching than this ine.
This is one of my favorite movies, I love this review. I watched this review about 4 times already and I cry every time.
I have to skip this reaction, this movie had me in tears for about 2 years after watching it when it came out.
I do not have the heart to watch these films and can only watch reviews of them because my ❤ cannot take it. I cried the whole way through the review, just from knowing what was coming.
I stayed away from this film and still have not seen this. Watching your reaction to this solidifies that I could never get through the end of this movie so thank you for watching it for me so I could see the tidbits of this sad movie.
Back when they were preparing to make this film, they announced a call out to everyone that has a Yellow Lab that looked like Marley: all ages welcome, because if accepted, the doggie would be playing a particular part in the film matching Marley's age at the time. I sent John Grogan, the author, a message enthusiastically telling him that I had such a dog. My dog at the time was pretty old, and so if he were to make the cut, he would end up playing certain scenes in the movie corresponding to old-age Marley. Anyway, long story short, I never did get around to bringing my dog to the audition, but Mr. Grogan was kind enough to message me back encouraging me to do so, and wishing me good luck! I really appreciated that he was kind enough to reply.
Thanks for the beautiful reaction! And for being vulnerable. You’re the best bro
Homeward bound is also another amazing movie!❤
This one is tough but beautiful ❤️
We lost our 7 yr old dog suddenly last September. We miss her every single day
Dog’s love ❤
This movie is from the book.
Sorry that is my first time commenting on your reactions, but this one is perfect. What a great choice and reaction you gave.
Thank you so much 😁
Loved the reaction James, watched this movie once & it was great but once is enough for me. 😢
Okay I am going need some tissues😢
With all the movies you haven’t seen yet this is a head scratcher
It was a private request
I watched this at work (A commercial bank) the day after thanksgiving. I was the manager and it was going to be a slow day of waiting for the clock to run out and eating leftovers. I plugged the dvd player into the lobby tv that normally ran financial news and we watched holiday movies. We were in the middle of the sad part of this movie when the only customer for the day came in. We were all crying. Once we explained what we were watching the customer said she saw it that year too and cried too.
I love this movie so much! The beginning is absolutely hilarious. But this is one of the most heartbreaking movies.
This is such an amazing movie but I haven't seen it since the first time I watched because I like dogs more than I like most people, so naturally the end of this movie made me cry like a little girl (And I'm a grown man lol)
When this movie came out, one of the local Veterinary Specialty facilities purchased an entire theaters' worth of tickets to give to local vet clinics as a promo. So, a roomful of veterinarians, vet techs, kennel assistants and receptionists bawling their eyes out to this movie. 😂
This movie broke my heart. OMG….I can’t even watch it again 😨
Marley in the movie is clearly very well behaved.
Marley in the book was pure caos
I do enjoy this film, but favorite dog film is tied between Homeward Bound and Milo & Otis.
I watched this movie en theathers (2008) and thanks for your reaction a rewatched today and I cried along with you, I promised to myself never atch this movie again, but I made an exception... Thank you for made me believe in dogs love again.
When I first watched this movie I swore I would never watch it again coz it was so sad and real. This was the first time watching it since then. Our family had to put our 16 year old lab shadow down last October and im having the biggest cry right now 😭
The end of that movie gets me every time
I was a glutton for punishment - I watched this in the movie theaters 10 days after having my 15 year old Dalmatian put down. And I read the book - I knew what was going to happen!!!
My solace was that I was not the only crier in that theater.
True story and based on the book by the same name. Read it you will love it.
Am I First?! Doesn’t matter. I’m just glad there’s another reaction from James.
So hard to watch. The only time a dog really hurt us is when they leave us 💔 My chihuahua had just turned 13 when I had to let him go in january. He was my everything, and I miss him so much that it hurts. 💔
You should really check out Milo and Otis. I think you would really enjoy that movie.
Here's the bottom line for me. I first watched this movie on a plane from New York to Tokyo; probably among the dumbest moves I've made in recent memory. I was in the bathroom for about 20 minutes just trying to compose myself again. You think you could suck it up just by getting through the scene with Marley on the Vet's table, but then they sucker punch with you a la Mike Tyson by showing the flashback montage with the theme.
If the ending doesn't effect you like that, you're just not a dog person. Probably not a pet person at all for that matter.
Simon Birch, please watch that
You will always get a like from me but I can’t do this film
Same! 😭
What constitutes "puppy mill" for you? She has a big house, plenty of property for her animals, and all her dogs appear clean and healthy. That's not a puppy mill, it's called a kennel.
Okay I'll give you that. They did look like there were taken care of
Such an outstanding movie. The real John Grogan is standing in the blue shirt at the obedience training class.
I can't count on both hands how many times my wife has been at the "get rid of it" point but came to me the next day and didn't really mean it. Lol
A really great movie. I did not know anything about the movie when I first saw it and I really liked it. A more comedic movies about Digs and Cats you should see is Cats vs Dogs.
My favorite science fact is that the biggest difference between modern dogs and their wild ancestors are the muscle development around their eyes for maximum human manipulation
Bawling
😎👍
I swore I would never watch this movie again. It’s so funny…until it isn’t! 😢
👍🏿👍🏿
Sorry James. I'm not watching this with you.... 😢
Come on, you can do it. Good tears for pups
Should check out the great movie:
“GOING IN STYLE “
Alan Arkin , Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine !!
Seniors that plot to rob a bank, get back at the bank for foreclosing on them!! Great !!
I've only ever watched this movie once a long time ago and I haven't watched it since. I'm not going to watch your reaction to this movie only because I personally don't want to see it again. The movie was okay but it was very depressing by the end of it.
I have a question for you. I expect you will do the lego movie at some point. Would you like me to send you a set to build?
You should watch the movie Jersey Boys. I don't why, but you seem like a guy who would enjoy it. Although, it's a good news/bad news situation. The good news is that it's a great film with lots of great music by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The bad news is that it has a lot of music by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. So, ya know, editing for copyright might be a challenge. Still, if you can't watch it for the channel, watch it on your own time. Because . . . 👍
Not a terrible movie... The stage play was wonderful; saw it when the brought it to Las Vegas. My gripe; this is a well beloved musical and they gave it to a director who musical past is not exactly extensive. They could have chosen a director who could have given it the love it really needed. 😬
Red Dog

Trump found guilty on all counts today! Today was a good day, James👍
