I started a band and as the vocalist and founder I literally did the opposite and said "my band is your band, do what you want we could be a million different genre's as long as there metal"

You pretty much just told, beat for beat, the story of one of the bands I was in way back in the early 90's. I left the band after only about two months. The singer was a jerk and the rest of the band pretty much just... went along with him. I simply didn't have that kind of.. "keep my mouth shut when people are asshole to you" personalities.. I speak my mind about how they're being idiots and exit the situation. This didn't bode well with a singer who was an entitled idiot who was used to being surrounded by yes-men.
Back in the 80's and 90's as a young music guy, it was all about going into the music stores, or shops that sold instruments, and grabbing those phone numbers off the bulletin boards for bands looking for people, or checking the classified every weekend. I did this religiously, looking for bands who wanted someone who liked more... experimental music in their band. I mostly ended up playing guitar and keyboard in various metal bands but some thought that it was cool that I was doing stuff with this thing called a computer and that I was experimenting with tapes. I rarely got to integrate any of my ideas into the bands though sadly. There were a couple though. But because of this, I ended up in and out of so many bands and I met a LOT of people. SO MANY people. It was like a revolving door of different types of people. I think I met every type of musician and metal band that there possibly could be. It got so bad that when I would go out to a local basement show, I would know most of the band members and the people who were there. It was the same people over and over again.
Definitely one of your best videos. Your comedy vids are really amazing. Maybe you could do Melodic Black/Death Metal next ? Something like Dissection or Sacramentum. Cheers from Poland.
You should put up a Paypal or Patreon account, mate. You're really good and honestly, if I had the balls to record myself, I'd definitely do it similar to your style.
Dude...I'm actually in this kind of band RIGHT NOW!!! Well, calling it a band is extremely generous, seeing as it's pretty much just me (on either guitar or bass, depending on who quit that week) and this one other guy who is absolutely awesome to hang out and party with...until it comes time to play that is, at which point he turns into Stalin, Franco, Mussolini, Castro and Saddam Hussein all rolled up into one (dude's a total DICTATOR)! Band members usually last no longer than a month, with one guy quitting literally minutes after he said he'd join...if I wasn't friends with this guy outside the band, I would've split a LONG time ago. Totally killer video, thanks for showing the absudity of this kind of gig to the world!
Alex some sludge may be considered that. Since Sludge has hardcore influences and so does thrash. Celtic Frost have both doom and thrash elements. And Confessor. They are sort of doom thrash.
