    Millyard is an absolute genius and one of the finest engineers I have ever seen especially on motorcycles Millyard has some of the most wicked tricked out 1off bikes in the world. I just don't understand why he doesn't have his own line of motorcycles in dealerships. Millyard has motorcycles all over the world in museums with his crazy engine modifications like turning a 4 cyl into a v8 or v12 and doing it so perfect that they look like the factory turned them out. The Flying Millyard in this video he used the heads and barrels from an airplane and he fabricated the rest himself how amazing is that. I am a big fan of his work as so many others are however if it wasn't for RUclips I don't think I would know who he is and that's a damn shame he should be well known to more than just the hard core enthusiasts or the lone RUclips stalker that stumbles across his work much like myself. IDK maybe he has more going on then I know like I said I am just a YT stalker lol. One amazing man he is for sure!!Millyard is an absolute genius and one of the finest engineers I have ever seen especially on motorcycles Millyard has some of the most wicked tricked out 1off bikes in the world. I am not saying that any of these other bikes or their builders are not equally amazing I just know much more about Millyard's work then the others although I do think that Dennis Franz motorcycle was incredible and sounds great. I believe I have watched a YT video of this bike and he milled and turned all the parts for that little engine himself that's talent right there! All these bikes are great and I love to see the world turn with these back yard engineers showing the word you don't have to be a giant factory with million dollar tools to turn out a machine that can take on the big boys.

    He makes them by hand in a garden shed !

    He’s a genuine genius.

    The Franz Flyer has approval ratings high enough to go straight to full mass production. A few different engine sizes- 350, 650, 1000cc. Retro and modern frames. And I'd want one of each!

    In '67, Honda put out a 250cc/6 that ate up everything at Laconia, then was never heard from again. We were talking thimble-sized pistons, there. I can only imagine the size of the pistons in the Franz Flyer. Undoubtedly the coolest thing I've ever seen on two wheels. To think that this guy engineered and fabricated the engine and configured the drivetrain and frame is simply astounding.

      aussie sam Its got to be a typo, nobody kicks over a 5 litre v-twin! It would break his leg if it ever back kicked!

    • @aussiesam01
      @aussiesam01 6 лет назад +5

      Nope, not a typo. The Millyard engine is a 5 litre V Twin engine based on two Pratt & Whitney R1340 aircraft cylinders cut down from the radial engine. Do you think I would have made my comment because someone put a kickstart on a 500cc engine? Nuts.
      Mate, I've been riding bikes for 45 years and I'm a technical writer and editor, stop insisting you are right when you're clearly wrong. You could have worked out the facts for yourself with a simple web search.

  • @Tom-Lahaye

    That Franz Flyer is beautifull, sounds very smooth and as a V8 should sound, and is the only bike in this video that doesn't kill you when it falls over on you.
    And it's engine is a complete self build without using components from existing engines, all others used at least cylinder blocks and pistons from other engines.

    All these machines are all made by brilliant engineers with there own unique way to build their own Unique engines and bikes, my favourite has to be Allen Milliard as his RUclips channel show him create an engine with a hacksaw by cutting an 4 cyl engine block up and welding back together a V8 and a straight bar and drill to mill big end bearings the man is a genius. And to top it off it looks factory made. All this from a small shed in the U.K. 🇬🇧
