Big thank you for subtitles at the top! Not it's easier for non-native en speaker to read and understand that all. Progress bar and controlls at the bottom, subtitles at the top: true pleasure to watch and read!
Man sollte ,,niemals " meinen , schon alles zu kennen.... keine Ahnung woher Tino diese Exoten findet , aber eins ist klar : es gibt immer wieder Überraschungen der besonderen Art 😊
I think there was also an interesting healey 2 stroke that I saw in the motorcycle museum in birmingham, at least I thought it was a healey. What was interesting about it is that it somehow managed to have lossless oil lubrication.
I had 2 different two stroke bikes in the 1970's. A GT500 Suzuki in 1972 & then a GT550 Suzuki. The GT550 had more power but the GT500 could go up to 112 MPH & handled alot better than the GT550. It sure was fun to watch the 2 stroke exhaust smoke out the view of cars in the rear view mirrors when accelerating at full throttle or passing!
So cool, takes me back to my Yamaha RZ500 V4 2stroke days, could flick that bike in an out of corners with its light weight & incredible acceleration, so much fun!
Thanks for an interesting, informative video. I am still fond of the Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamha 2 strokes. I had no idea of the square four, or the others that didn't go into production. I had a couple of the Puch 250 Twingles. They were fairly fast, with great, low end torque, with the long stroke. I also had one Kawasaki H1. It was really fast, and dangerous to handle. With the right frame and suspension, reed valves, and just a little tuning, it would probably keep up with the same displacement, four stroke, crotch rockets, of today. Correct me if I am wrong on that. It's just a guess.
Fantastic research, as always. Some bikes I had actually never seen before. I once came to see the big Scott in Birmingham. Was told later, that only 5 where ever made.
Fair enough. By contrast, I kept repeating the ride by clips in what looked like former East Germany. The sound is really interesting to my ears. I know the German & English engineers were restless inventors and all manner of configurations that didn’t quite make sense got built. As they’d have said, “Vive la difference!”
Lots of 2strokes in the 50s and 60s. All Jacobson lawn mowers. Evenrude and Johnson outboard motors. All chainsaws. Everywhere you looked 2 strokes. I had a Suzuki X-6 Hustler and later a three cylinder Suzuki 380 3 cylinder.
great classic bikes, i like that IFA / MZ-BK (Boxer Kardan) 350 seen in 5:39 and that Scott Fyler 500 from the 1920s in 2:00. i like the 1920s - 1940s bikes, prior to the 1920s the bikes look to much like bicycles with engines and after the 40s they look to bulky. 70s bikes will have their admirerers i guess but those 70s bikes dont look that interesting to me, its like the designers lost their design language. are these original bikes from back then or replications that were build later ? do you own these bikes and if so, where do find all these classic bikes from back then from ?
I had a few Kawasaki triples and never once did I have a problem with cylinder fouling. A common problem was owners putting on a front mudflap which affected the airflow to the middle cylinder.
It may have been touch and go that we got even the wonderful two stroke twin and triples that we received during the glory days of the 1970s!? In those days, the EPA in California won grudging respect for beginning to clean the air in hot, sunny cities like LA. In doing so, they destroyed the market for more interesting two stroke multi cylinder engines. The EPA long ago lost the plot, like those driving out all manner of very clean modern cars, having become purely political.
I think the answer is “badly”! Seriously, consider it geometrically, the engine can be represented as a line, perpendicular to the direction of air flow. Cooling is best for a single cylinder, with only the rear side not receiving fast moving, cooling air. Once we accept a twin cylinder, the internal face & two rear sides is under reduced cooling. The triple is as bad as it gets, the middle cylinder being essentially fully enclosed except for one face in the cooling air. Adding more cylinders beyond three doesn’t present additional cooling problems. I don’t know who made the 7 cylinder two stroke, but it could have been made by Allen Millyard, a modest yet very talented engineer. His RUclips channel is just terrific. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Millyard

Nothing Compares with a 2-stroke I've got a 20-year-old Lawn-Boy 6 and 1/2 horse 2-stroke walk behind lawn mower grew up with them they're illegal now because of the freaking EPA period has nothing to do with these monsters but two stroke is a two-stroke just like the damn Wankel rotary engines 3 and 4 rotor scream like hell and if you don't know what you got to dump oil in the gasoline

Wow... The King of the Two- stroke motorcycles
I actually seen about a dozen Silk 700s's and Scotts at a show in Edinburgh awhile back!
Nice bikes.
Tz 750 Yamaha was a race bike only, I had the pleasure of riding 1, absolutely awesome!! I hit over 170 on the street!
A seven cylinder two-stroke - unbelievable!
Семицилиндровый двухтактник это 👍 первый раз такое вижу.
Non è originale, stato uniti diverse motore
Cool video 😎👍👍
Wow,I bet that Yamaha inline-4 750 2-stroke would've been a screamer had that gone through with production!!!
Yeah sound amazing
Bastava solo trovare il modo di tenerla in strada 😮😮
Harika motorlar. 1950 yıllarında üretilen çatal piston PUCH 250cc kullanma şansım oldu. Türkiye den selamlar❤❤❤
how rare and AWESOME is that Silk 700 ! ? wow !
Great collection of two strokes!💪
There is a Japaneese flat 2-stroke twin to.
Muy bueno gracias 🎉💪🇦🇷🙂
AS ALWAYS UR VIDS ARE SO COOL !
English manufacturers Connaught also made flat twin two strokes

Selamat berkarya semoga Tuhan selalu memberkati anda dan keluarga
Salam kenal dari saya , orang Indonesia. (Jakarta)

love the old two strokes that cowie square fore looks like it could win many races

Brilliant video 😊
These were so insane.

Thanks, your MC videos are very interesting and well made. Cheers 🏁🏍️🏁🇸🇪
Awesome 👍😎 Thanks
Great video! More bike's from '20 👍👍
After the 6 th ride by, keep swiping.

I didn't know they made Scotts until the 70's, I thought they were Silks.

My first bike was a Kawasaki 250 3 cylinder 2 stroke I think a 72 or 73. Paid 200 bucks it was an animal.
There is a 10 cylinder 500cc two stroke thats pretty interesting
And always a problem with the center cylinder plug fouling
I had a few Kawasaki triples and never once did I have a problem with cylinder fouling. A common problem was owners putting on a front mudflap which affected the airflow to the middle cylinder.
Once again the EPA killed off all the good fun stuff.
I had a Suzuki GT380 3 cylinder in the 70's. That think could be dangerous.
Didn't know kawi even made a 6cyl 2 stroke engine. Seen the triple.
They didn't make one. It's a custom job, probably Allen Millyard.
Emissions regulators, always dragging the world back to the dark ages.

What an inline with 8? Cylinders two strokes, imagine that if ride on it in present, the road would like in misquitos fogging💨🤔
It has seven cylinders. Another poster thought it had 6 cylinders!
You lot are a real life Solomon Asche experiment.
@@GT380man what ever cylinders there are, 4 cylinders were a lot for 2 wheels🤔
750SSダブルエンジン! 2スト空冷6気筒なんて内側シリンダーの冷却どーすんだよ😮

Ma chi è quella assurda moto a 7 cilindri ??
カワサに、6機、2サイクル、あったの、知らなかった。
