This video made me realize what a motorcycle snob I am. There were two bike that looked mildly interesting to me. The rest were very much not my style. But then again, if it makes the owners happy, that’s all that matters. They don’t need to impress me!
@@MOUNTAINLDC I had that discussion with my therapist/mechanic. He used the term “circus bike” too to describe such machines. Again, if it makes the owners happy that’s great… but it makes me chuckle when I see one on the road.
I like looking at the faces of these riders, that cool look frown of "look how cool i am on my cool bike". But most are thinking "what a monstrous looking thing"
In alot of states those "Ape Hangers are illegal if they are above the riders shoulders. Some of these bikes I wouldn't want to ride. They look clumsy, awkward to steer & stop
Some are show..there are a few clean rideable sleds in there...I had a '50 model 45 solo...that was 6 in from bttm frame to ground...had to cross some rr crossings at an angle to keep from hanging up
A low rider was built to drive hundreds o miles on a highway without getting tired. Some of these bikes are built to go flat on you face on the first corner. Simply dangerous.
Some cool/innovative, some rehashed same old, I don't get the handgrips being either 4' apart, or 6" apart, not great for riding, still some cool work.

So true. Been on bikes: Norton atlas, Norton commando roadster, three Harley Davidson sportsters, Honda CBR 1000, Kawasaki 500 triple, two gold wings, and more. Sometimes there is so little space that the motorcyclists have to dismount, push the motorcycle through, crawl on their stomachs themselves and then drive on. Grim Reaper entry ( thumb nail) was a no show. Took a dirt nap on way over. Well, she doesn’t corner that great, but I can kinda hold her in a straight, but the front brake delete,,, shoulda thought that through. It actually has a torque link to this metal plate seat to amplify square edge potholes. Kind of unique but hey what the ####. Is she hard over? Aye Captain hard over. Then why isn’t she turning?
