I never under rated 10cc. Their Album Sheet Music was an absolute classic and everything that followed kept getting better. Probably the best band ever to hail from Manchester if not the North-West of England
Fantastic band .... they still love what they do on stage , and they do it flawless and so topprofessional. Longing to hear them again again in DK this year ♥♥♥♥♥
I’ve heard the touring band 10cc for a good 12 years. They sound great! Rick Fenn’s Guitar playing is sublime - I always look forward to this number. The filming captures the moment, thanks for putting it together. Long May this band continue!
Thoroughly enjoying this update to one of my very favorite 10cc songs. I'm on a 10cc deep dive right after reading Liam Newton's fantastic bio of the band. (Fan since Hotlegs and Rubber Bullets).
Second 10cc song I every heard!! - as a video on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert TV show 1975 - after digging I'm Not In Love radio hit. Picked up How Dare You a few months later with my meger lawn mowing money. Played it and played it and played it. It can't really be nearly 50 years ago. Can it?
The guitar solo at the end on the studio version of this song is one of my favorite guitar solos ever, I'm gonna give this a listen to see what it's like live, wish I could have seen this band.
It's a bit of a dilemma, I like to film all the gigs I go to and have regretted when I've not filmed a gig,saw 10cc in Halifax last month didn't film so thanks for yours it means a lot to a lot of people 😊 cheers
Timeless music. Sounds as fresh today as it did close to 50 years ago. Nobody was writing stuff like this then and nobody is written songs like this now.
Habe sie am Freitag live im Wizemann (Stuttgart) gesehen. Fantastisches Konzert. Die Musik besser als aktuelle Produktionen, welche täglich im Radio laufen. Tolle Band mit hervorragenden Musikern.
My abiding memory of this song is not the sublime studio version from their best LP, it's the version from the misbegotten 'Live and Let Live' on which Tony O'Malley tries to take lead vocals, and ends up entirely drowned out by the backing vocals of the others.
The Adam Lambert thing and Graham Gouldman's outfit are both very good bands. They pull together as much band DNA as possible and put on very good shows. But they are NOT Queen and they are NOT 10CC. They simply cannot be, for various reasons. But I am glad they do what they do, and why shouldn't the surviving members continue to make a very good living?
It keeps 10cc music history the best way alive. Paul Burgess was their studio Drummer at the very first records. Rick Fen was also on tour and on record the early days. So with Graham Gouldman who wrote so many fantastic songs and on his age still so fantastic, this is the bests 10cc experience you can get. Go to them there still touring around the world.
@@L5Nlcommunicatie-design Slight correction: Paul Burgess was their *live* drummer, not their studio drummer. Kevin Godley was the only drummer on their first four records but he also played a lot of percussion and, of course, did a lot of singing. There was no way he could do all of that live so they added Burgess as a second drummer/percussionist and sometimes keyboardist on stage.
Awesome! Thanks for posting. My favourite 10CC tune, great peformance! But, um, where's the bottom end? The recording seems strangely lifeless for such a dynamic song and performance. Whatever. Thanks again, Stuart Barry. You rule.
I took a direct feed from the sound desk, so it should be whatever went out to front of house. I generally don't tinker with the feed that I get as that's what the audience heard. Anyway, thanks for the appreciation.
I thought this was really good, Graham is the heart of 10cc. And isnt that Rick Fenn on guitar, he’s like the fifth 10cc:er? As a comparasion,, another favourite band of old of mine Alan Parsons Project lost one member, Eric Woolfson and the decline in quality is huge. My guess is that there is a standing invitation to the original members come with the band, and they give their permission to play their songs, or Gouldman only plays his own songs. At least I would guess the song selection is heavily towards Gouldman songs.
Roger Hodgson from Supertramp is doing it solo and still doing a fab job so, se la vie, Yes the originals in a band are the best but shit happens and life goes on.
@paulcybotron347 Yes, it's sad because it has dated very badly and so many people know them only for that. But before it, Sheet Music, The Original Soundtrack and How Dare You! are true classic albums and contain great hit singles and even greater (arguably) album tracks.
One of the most underrated bands. Real Prog.
right
Prog? What a bullshit! They wrote, arranged, produced and performed great music. Why put it in a genre?
best description I've heard of 10cc is that they are what the Beatles might have become
Really? It is brilliant music, but you obviously do not know what 'Prog music' is!
Good to see Graham Gouldman still performing so well...thank you Stuart.
Very welcome
10 cc from 1977,love them all ths years
Have always been an underrated band, such talent! ❤🎵

Thanks so much. They are a pleasure to film and such nice people backstage.
One of my favorite bands. Saw them 2 days ago in Eindhoven. Great show! I loved it!!!
Can't wait to see them in Kent OH this summer.....scored 10th row center seats!!!
Einfach MEISTERHAFT - seit über 50 Jahren bewundere ich diese perfekten Musiker.
Rick Fenn, long time collaborator. Good to see GG still going too.
superb! they sound live as good as in the studio!
Yes they do
Yes! I think if they could not do it live to this level of proficiency, they just would not.
Such production...very talented musicians and singers...
Breathtaking. One of the most complex, simple songs ever. Perfectly executed.
Loved them since Sheet Music came out. Saw them live at last, just Graham Gouldman left. Loved it.
Brings back good memories cool live version
Love the echo, sake, sake, sake.
Graeme is a total legend! 💙
And a very modest person when I interviewed him.
Great Bass, great band and a great tune
The ending feel's like Floyd's Sorrow! Nice to hear a different ending from the live ones I'm used to :-)
And it's the most popular track viewed so far.
Thoroughly enjoying this update to one of my very favorite 10cc songs. I'm on a 10cc deep dive right after reading Liam Newton's fantastic bio of the band. (Fan since Hotlegs and Rubber Bullets).
Great guitar touches by Rick Fenn!
Slower pacing, an almost ethereal build up. Damn! This works *really* well! Great choices.
Graeme was a songwriter alongside Eric Wolfson in the mid/late 60s..Ian later went on to write for/with Alan parsons project
Thank you for posting! 🙏 Sounded great.
Gotta be honest. This sounds so so good, a complex song pulled off amazingly well live...kudos gents
Best of the best !
Brilliant , can't wait to see them in Southport. A great live band . GG is such a talent ! 👏
Was peering through the fog at the start, seeking David Gilmore. Unreal. Same tone, similar feel. And then my fave 10cc song. Fantastic.
Love em!
What a track, ace!
Fantastic Riff. Fantastic Song , when songs were proper songs with no fricking auto tune. Nice bit of Floyd atmosphere.
Och that was just pure brilliance
great sound production on this. Great song.
I like it thanks Graham!!!!
Your all still GREAT🤩
I'd have loved to have been at that concert!!
Sounds like it has grown up! great live arrangement!
Goose bumps 😀

Excellent! Can't wait to see them again on their Autumn tour and Iain Hornal's solo gig on 21st Sept!
Same here! It might be nice to just watch and not film.
It's a bit of a dilemma, I like to film all the gigs I go to and have regretted when I've not filmed a gig,saw 10cc in Halifax last month didn't film so thanks for yours it means a lot to a lot of people 😊 cheers
Great band, so underrated.
I've loved 10cc ever since i heard this track played in 1977 on PHILLY WYSP 94.1 FM when they still played deeper album tracks regularly
I went to see them in Adelaide a few weeks ago. What a great night everyone had.
have the 1972 to 1978 hits vinyl this sounds really good on it!
Revival - Rock,,, still rocks.
And still one of the most popular bands around.
WOWWWWWWW never heard about this band, but since now I’m in love with it! Wonderful !!!!!!!! Me apaixonei desde agora por esta banda! Maravilha!
Love! make me think of Queen ..
Need to tour America guys.
Awesome
never heard of this. this is awesome

Wow impressive

Tolle Band mit hervorragenden Musikern.
Genius.
Quality... !
Una de mis bandas favoritas, llena de creatividad, ecléctica, original y con mucha música. Y Graham Gouldman, un gran y prolífico compositor.
Always the fingers point when a line up has changed with few or often no original members, it matters not, that's life, nothing lasts for ever...
Here here! 👍The band sounds amazing live.
It’s always about the songs, they last forever.
He had that Strat singing!
Wonder how much money could be made if the four did a comeback tour and how many oeople would be very happy.
Will not happen. In 2015 there was an opportunity but it did not happen. Eric is retired
Jan 2, 2023, I'm over 60 and up till now I've only heard 1 song from 10cc. I didn't know they could Rock 😅
Look up Blackmail, with the 16 beat one note solo, I am 64 and still digging 10cc, have been since The Original Soundtrack, best album they made.
Brilliant back catalogue of music. If you wanna hear them rock look up Wall Street Shuffle
wow you slept a long time LOL
@@paulcybotron347 if it wasn't for the Internet my life would be a cultural desert.
@@artgreig7069 one of their best tracks ever. Eric's solo is EPIC!
Not enough cow bell
Iain Hornal gets to be in 10cc *AND* ELO? Damn, son. Save some cool gigs for the rest of us. Jeez.
Have been on three concert with Jeff’s Lyns ELO . Iain’s performance there were incredible.
And his own band. I've uploaded his last few gigs to my channel.
Still sounding awesome, but Eric where are you
Left 10cc in 1995, retired from music years ago.
My abiding memory of this song is not the sublime studio version from their best LP, it's the version from the misbegotten 'Live and Let Live' on which Tony O'Malley tries to take lead vocals, and ends up entirely drowned out by the backing vocals of the others.
Let it go Graham. For all our sakes.
just like rolling stones you are well past yr best
The start of this sounds like Pink Floyd .
Why dont LD's use old school generic par cans for a band like 10 cc? The led cans just dont cut it.
Absolutely brilliant!
November2023Netherlands🙏
10CC and Queen is where it stops for me. How many of the original members are in the tour band? Lead gits is excellent
I saw Queen (with Adam Lambert) at the O2 this year - great show, but I also really enjoyed being close up to 10cc.
The Adam Lambert thing and Graham Gouldman's outfit are both very good bands. They pull together as much band DNA as possible and put on very good shows. But they are NOT Queen and they are NOT 10CC. Yeah karaoke here - but good karaoke!

Cant see the pianist but I think I know who it was!
prolog Pink Floyd
This isn't 10cc. Unless one of the other three former members re-joins then it's just Gouldman and Fenn.
Brilliant, I just don’t know why this grandad is singing it……what? That’s how old they are now?? Does that mean I’m that old too????
Yes gran.😊
@@lenvarley7973 alright, alright, there’s no need to rub it in!

That’s a 10CC tribute band !!!
But some of the key originals
A 10cc tribute band what 9 cc lol
Maybe, but they are bloody good!!!!!
Sound as good if not better than the original band.
Not the full original anymore, let it go mann no more...done!
But still good
This is 2.5 cc…..a good band and love there work, tho shouldn’t be calling themselves the full 10 tho. Paul or George never toured as the Fabs.
Instant quiz:- who knows where the name 10CC came from? (I do)

WHO ARE THESE GUYS? 10cc REALLY! NO ITS NOT! C'MON MAN
They have changed over the years, but I still think they are good.
Considering the original lineup was in some sense a studio pick up band I'm happy to go with this.
Graham, Rick joined 1979 and Paul 1973
C’mon, Eric, Lol and Kev filled the vocals so well on this song. Poor Graeme is holding his own, but….
.....this is not 10cc.......it's just the bass player.....where's Godley, Creme and Stewart?
Thats shame
Would have been better without the gratuitous 'yeah' punctuation.
Not sure what you mean, but I thought they were great.
True
Disappointing, lack luster. How can Graeme call this 10cc without at least Stewart in the band?
Oh well, you can't win them all. Most people seemed to enjoy the band.
@@stuartbarry7580 You miss my point, this is not 10cc. I am amazed that Stewart and the others allows Gouldman to use the name?
