I fucking KNEW Rory's ears would perk up every time in response to drummer Aynsley Dunbar--Frank's MOST recorded drummer for a reason. Rock on, Rory! 🥁
Zappa's portfolio is so deep that you can, and should, just keep on doing days with just 3 to 4 Zappa songs and it will STILL be a long time before you run out of great new songs to react to. Like "The Little House I Lived In" from "Burnt Weeny Sandwich". That whole album is a gem. One can very much hear Zappa the Composer throughout. Blessings.
I love this track i can see it as three lion tamers (drum bass and orgen), trying to keep a dangerous tiger at bay. Zappa pacea and growls and snarls his way through another memorable number
Check out Nine Types of Industrial Pollution It’s one of my favorite Zappa guitar pieces Ansley Dunbar is the drummer . He is British and when Jimi Hendrix was looking for a drummer for The JH Experience it was between Ansley and Mitch Mitchell , it was decided by a coin toss
One can find clones of the major guitarists from the 60's &70's almost everywhere. At least their style. Except for Frank. His style is hard to pin down, but to me at least, very distinctive & recognizable.

Franks use of the wah peddle for tone shaping during his guitar solos was fantastic! A real Master.
One my favorite Zappa guitar solos. That tone is just the chef's kiss.
50 ans déjà, un son toujours aussi incroyable...Merci Rory !

Road ladies! Died thirty years ago and you’ll never get to the bottom of his fantastic catalog of music.
Aynsley Dunbar on drums !
Chunga's Revenge is a mix of instrumental and vocal. You should listen to it all.
One of his most coherent solos. Top favorite of mine. Love the Gypsy scale so much. Drummer is Ainsley Dunbar with his unique style.
Try the Title track!
The Title track give that a Listen Lad!
