Don’t scare us! Nightwish’s final show is hopefully many years from now.
Some constructive criticism:
The only thing that could be better at this concert was the editing. Here, for example, Floor made this note (GLS) and Emppu was so happy for her that he gave her his fist. Floor then did the same and... CUT... "Outdoor shots". I want to see the moments longer. Instead, "outdoor shots" were shown for far too long, even in the middle of the songs. Didn't like it that much. I want to see interactions. At the Outro everyone was sitting in a circle ... Cut ... "outdoor shot".
Don't get me wrong, the setting was really nice under the circumstances. Musically everything was top class and Floor was absolutely bombastic (her outfit too...wow). Everyone had fun. But I also wish to see moments like this. And I wish you could have heard direct feedback from us. I was really sorry that you were really great but didn't get anything back from us directly. Next time you need a big screen with your fans with their webcams on or something. 😁
Well we just hope for a classic live experience next time. You were great. And we were here. It was amazing🤘

You're harming the band that you pretend to love. That is bigoted. Times are difficult enough for artists. It is really embarrassing. Do you still remember Marco's statement? To read what hurt all of us. He criticized the music industry for various injustices, completely understandable. You don't do anything else. You cheat and you steal your band with it. They get fucked up by parts of the music industry, but they continue with making music to get fucked up by their own fans. Makes me so mad.
@@TomTomson81 The editiing was a bit off but nothing that broke the experience. What was breaking the interaction for me was the chat. While in concept fun, it lacked a 'slow' mode and more importantly using the Enter key on the keyboard pushed your into 'spam'. That said, totally pumped for the 2nd one!
I hope Floor will perform in the beautiful black and golden dress from the rehearsals shots, today. A real metal godess 👩🏻🎤

It was freakin' amazing! The whole band was beyond on-point, loved the new arrangements with Troy (although Marko will be missed obviously) and Floor...good grief that lady is a one of a kind genetic miracle, just breath-taking & unreal. Shoemaker live was just mindblowing...totally...fucking...nailed it! 🤘🤟💖😁

Lost one Jukka, gained another. This band will never fail to surprise me. 😁 I think they would probably have Jukka sing some of the backing vocals during the actual tour, but I'm glad they didn't do that yet here. They didn't rush to bring in a new bassist-singer and have him immediately take over the male vocals. Shows a lot of respect for Marko. 🤘
My guess is that they focused on getting those basslines down before starting to sing. I know he has a good voice, so he might be doing some backing during the tour.
Although Jukka apparently has a good voice, he is more of a baritone than a tenor, so some parts will have to be re-written for him if they are to use his voice.
Jukka himself said that he won’t be singing during the tour and Troy will do the singing instead - with Floor!

Still, Marco has his own personal energy and presence that I'm gonna miss.

Was EPIC concert.
It's so difficult to perform without the public, not being able to get the energy from the croud.
Every one outstanding, Excellent arrangements in the vocals.
Floor simply amazing, what more to say, nailed everything, and the AD Astra moment made me cry.
Kai, a machine, Loved specially Shoemaker and Tribal.
Troy, a master musician, excellent vocals. Loved Harvest and Hows the heart.
Emppu, mastering the EV1, great sound, great skills, perfect riffs and always good mood and smile.
Jukka, excelelnt job, loved how he managed to play his own way some arrangements on the bass lines.
Tuomas, what to say, just the perfection.
I loved the team spirit, all those little moments of complicity, those little eye conections, the great spirit there is among all members.
And of course I lived how much you enjoy and had fun.

In my head i could still hear Marko singing those parts but Troy did an excellent job! also loved that Jukka was able to let go at one point and went on to headbang just as hard as we all did at home! well done Jukka! ♥ looking forward to tonight's show (which is technically tomorrow morning for me, but who cares, it's Nightwish!) Also: i don't think i've seen Tuomas smile SO bright ever before :D absolutely amazing to see that all of the band was enjoying it as much as we all were at home! 🤘❤🤘❤🤘❤

That was a great show, I loved it! I cried tears of joy when you startet Shoemaker und I cried even more when Floor nailed the last part. That was beautiful! My personal highlights were Shoemaker, Seven days to the wolfs, The greatest show on earth (I wasn't expecting this one at all), and finally you left me moved to tears with Ad Astra! A great end to a great show! The only thing that I really missed was to be able to show you guys my love and appreciation with some hearts, clapping hands, cheers, ...
The Ad astra ending was so overwhelming for me.

I hate you! I spend the whole show to say do myself "don't cry, don't cry, don't cry" but couldn't resist anymore at the end of the show, with that last "surprise" from Floor (don't wanna spoil)
It was fantastic to hear live versions of those new songs, great to hear the ones we know in an even better way.
Congrats to the sound engineer who did an amazing job!
I waited some difficult problems during the streaming, server down or something like that, NO problems at all (except the chat, but it was not so important)
It was so nice to have discussion with this chat between fans all over the world (nightwish army is the kindest army ever)
Of course Floor was perfect but hey, too easy, she's a valkyrie godess!!! (all those notes out of the world...OMG!!!)
Kai, as always is a perfect machine.
Empuu and Tuomas seemed a bit anxious at the beginning but their smiles were great to see when they felt more confident.
Congratulation and welcome to Jukka, we all miss Marko but this is HIS choice so I prefer Nightwish with Jukka than no Nightwish at all (the bassline at the end of Ghost love score was epic !!!! Thank you for this ad)
But my very last word is for Troy: your job was tough and it was even better than we could dream, thank you for everything you did, you're so precious.

Did anyone else hear Planet Hell & get the impression Tuomas was purposely giving an “ok, let’s immediately address the elephant in the room” kinda vibe? .... Great performance by the current band in a unique atmosphere & kudos for trying something so out of the box. I cannot wait to see them in a proper live setting to get a better traditional feel even though this sounded great...... And yes, like so many others some of these songs are going to take me some time to get reacquainted with because my heart was so heavy. The bonds of chemistry are not easily broken.

First thing I did this morning? I watched it again. Great great show guys, you all performed amazingly, and should not be easy to do this with a green screen and no crowd...but we were here, all for you!
Only a little suggestion for this evening show, please consider to interact more with us between the songs, usually we have crowd noise in that moments, and the silence sound a little weird, nontheless an incredible show, I'm planning to watch it more this evening and tomorrow.

Just finished the second show. Looked and sounded tremendous, and the graphics were fantastic. Kudos to the designers and the techs who executed a flawless green screen and all the beautiful fill.
Wow. WOW!!! Thank you. Thank you so so much. It has been a dream of mine to see you guys live for a long time, many years. I love that you all played to each other, there were new solos, your voices work beautifully and I'm so glad nobody tried to be Marko. Just like Tarja ribs through my mind sometimes when you play Nemo, Marko is in my heart in I Want My Tears Back NOW! But this version was beautiful. I loved the whole experience, you guys changed my life with this, thank you for siezing the opportunity from ZOAN 🥰 thank you for making it the Best Show!!! I was rocking out with my baby under my arm and the music leaking out of my headphones..... I was screaming internally (for the babies), but i sang my heart out for Nemo... Luckily my partner did not wake up, but I'm pretty sure i hit every note making it my best rendition yet. I can't wait to do the same tonight at 1am - see you in a couple of hours xxxxi

I would personally preferred a high quality paid digital download right from the source (NW official site/store). It will give support to the band and it will be much easier to work with than DVD/BR. I don't even have an option to play the discs on my present PC. Would have to ask a friend with BR player to watch it.

Something told me from the beginning "Shoemaker" was going to be a hit live despite all the talk about how complicated the song is especially on vocals and that it might not even get done because of that, but you all nailed it!! I never lost faith. 😊❤
Floor's opera bit at the end was flawless and absolutely beautiful. Even my roommate came out and asked if it was you singing, he said it sounded like an angel. 🥰
