His father was also a very kind man prior to his wife’s passing and financial problems. Nijimura putting all his anger onto Okuyasu and Keicho is all too real and many can relate to that experience. It’s really sweet that he let him in once Josuke simply put together that family picture.
I do have a friend like that. Every month, he and his bro try to erase me from existence and I have to beat some sense back into them again. It's almost like a bonding ritual.

Like, Josuke's VA (while stiff at first) is ultimately really good imo, but Koichi's (god bless, I know that poor actor is trying) sounds like nails on a chalkboard. So when he's playing off josuke it's good, and when he's playing off Kochi it's bad. But I think the dialogue is probably the thing that's holding dub Okuyasu back from being actively good, because YES. I feel like his actor does a pretty good job for the voice but the dialogue just sounds too well-read!! Like, sorry, Okuyasu does not use the word "caress", shut up.
