You feel the blocked sensation, maybe at the bottom of your stomach, or whatever else. That strange and deep sensation, you will, by effort, jump over it. Nobody will prevent you from going outside with a green and pinky hat, doing some strange movement, looking like a crazy fucked up one ahah, so, if you want to, why not doing it ? The looks around you, are unknown. The only look which matter, concerning yourself, is yours. Respect others, but stay yourself, the shame doesn't comes from others, it comes from yourself. It comes from the person, feeling the shame.
