Thanks to your video, I searched around and found the S3 winder. This device serves as both your spring anchor and winder so you don't need the winding bars. I'll buy one for next time when my spring breaks.
I like that option. It would be great for DYI as you install once and use multiple times.

Thanks for the glowing review! We should have the new Surewinder ready for sale soon. The design modifications should enable the Surewinder to increase it's winding capability by approximately 50% into the mid-range industrial size springs.

Like others have previously said, a bit pricy for a one or two time user. Probably beyond the budget of the many. But never-the -less a great product to own if this is your business. Well represented display showing safety and time saving capability.

Hey I just waisted the four minutes to watch and reply to this video. I did it the old fashioned way two rods and a 10mm wrench. I’m sure if I did a lot of garage doors it would pay off. That's kinda tricky.Besides your finger, there is a special tool attached on the right side of the spring and then you use your finger to run the electric drill.Without the special tool the finger is useless.So what's the catch.How much do you charge the customers for that kind of service?

Good point, in fact, I first purchased the the Sure Winder for unwinding springs on a carriage house door spring change (4- oversized springs). It saved a lot of effort.
Been a garage door tech for nearly a decade. Get that nonsense outta my face. I could have wound both springs in less time it took to make the video. Let alone setting up that thing first. And btw, how do you stretch them springs with that?
