    150 Miles down with the S&B Intake system 75-5115 for the Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen and FJ Cruiser. Man if these MPG's are correct, then the 4Runner is a Prius! I am very very happy with this system so far. I hope this video was helpful!!

    Am from Kuwait and planning to get 2020 4Runner TRD Pro, hopefully, Voodoo blue. I love your videos man. They are very informative and your car is amazing so I decided to subscribe and like your videos. Only issue is that the videos in the garage is super boring. The topic is fantastic but the location is boring. I hope to see your 4Runner or at least POV while you do the talk so we can see something and not just listening.

    Looking forward to the mpg numbers! No, we didn't buy these things for good mpg, but every bit helps. I swaer, some guys on the boards are PROUD of poor fuel economy.
    I got my 13 Trail almost months ago, and I've actually been impressed with the mileage. It's all stock, and I've mainly been in the 21-22mpg range, with a best tank of 22.2, and a worst of 19.8 (my only tank under 20). I DO drive mostly highway though, keeping it under 70 and driving about 400 mils a week.

    • @TRDJon
      @TRDJon  5 лет назад +2

      I agree. Every little bit helps. And they do!!! Like soooo proud to get 9 mpg and like in California at $5 a gallon 😂

    • @NdiNaija
      @NdiNaija 5 лет назад +1

      I think this is the trick. Driving under 70, or hypermiling. But it's tough to do when you're in Texas. Our interstate speed limits are about 75. 😊😊 So most people drive 85.

    • @TRDJon
      @TRDJon  5 лет назад +1

      That’s why Texas gas is so cheap! Hahah makes up for it.

    • @trailrunnah8886
      @trailrunnah8886 5 лет назад +2

      @@NdiNaija yeah, I'm not obnoxious about it, but I use some hypermiling tricks. I'm in RI where the speed limits are pretty low, most highways are 50 or 55. I work in MA, where the speed limit is a whopping 65mph. On the way to work I'll do just under 70, on the way home I'll set the cruise at 65, maybe a little lower if there's not many cars on the road and I'm listening to a podcast or something.
      I can't imagine doing 85 for any extended time in one of these.

    • @NdiNaija
      @NdiNaija 5 лет назад

      @@trailrunnah8886 When I had a 2014 4runner I would do about 80 on the highway, and 45 - 50 in the city. I got an average of 18.5 - 19mpg. Not fun but tolerable. In a year or 2 when i get rid of this Kia I'll miss the 22 avg mpg. But i miss the 4runner more.

      @@TRDJon Are you using a Cell Phone or Camera??? I would suggest Rode Mics. Also if you really want it spot on, I would say record audio separately to a recording device and sync it in post. It's not that hard to do and there're plenty of RUclips videos to show how to do it. It would really step up your channel to the next level. If you check out some videographers many say Audio is sometimes more important than the visual. It will definitely improve your content. I hope that helps you. I happy you didn't get offended. Some youtubers automatically think you're trolling them instead of trying to help them. Keep up the Great work.

      I should have got the rhode mic instead. I debated back and forth between the two and went with movo because it came with a bunch of other gear I also needed at the same time. It's great for directional audio when I speak into it, but the moment I go past the mic like it said, it f's up.
      I've detached audio before but running imovie I can never figure out how to legit merge the two files (audio and video) I told myself once i hit 10k its time for a legit mic and camera set up.

      Blue TRD Jon more HP/torque. Downsides include more expensive and less tested than the TRD codeveloped magnusen, but if you look at the way the engine is built it should be able to take the boost no problem. As long as you don’t drive fast and the furious style it shouldn’t effect longevity from what I’ve seen.

      If you supercharge it....number one modification is to re-gear! More true power and possible mpg improvement and it lets your transmission find the right gearing. Please, regear. No supercharge until the gearing is done. Start with a solid foundation. Cheers

      I did and mpg test and it’s in the playlist. You don’t buy these for HP unless you’re gonna tune your car too

    Can't believe that you have to start at 300 dollars for a decent cold air intake, it's not like it's NASA trying to recoup some legendary breakthrough R&D budget, it's a friggin air filter.
    ...AND don't try to tell me +2mpg pays for itself, because more often than not, it wont offsets your crappy MSRP, interest rate, service plan, or extended warranty Gary sold you at the dealership you tried to slowroll at the end of the month for a "deal".
    300 in a Roth IRA is more badass than making your feau runner sound like a Dyson up front, and a highly-polished v6 turd out your stern piece.

      Unlimited warranty. Under MSRP. 1.9 interest rate. And the affiliate link for this product I have has paid for itself about 3 times now. But thanks for the investment advice..
