    The places they are going to remind me of the EPIC PASS, 18/19 pass includes unlimited access at their resorts and you also get 5-7 days at a select few including hakuba valley, Japan.

    Hey guys!!! Love your work...your videos!!! Just became a Patreon in order to support you guys.
    So stoked that you made a tutorial for the "Hot garbage"... i love that trick and butters in general. I just started snowboarding this year but i grew in skills quite fast and now I am moving on to butter tricks. Unfortunately the season is almost over here in my country but Snowboarding is my new nr.1 hobby.
    Thanks guys for everything...keep up the good work.
    All the best from Romania / Europe.
    Ps: sorry of i made any gramatical mistakes :p

    Kevin, I noticed you changed to Union Atlas lately. I am wearing US 10.5 as well, do you use large or medium sized bindings for this pair? I know they change medium for 7-10 now. Thanks a lot!

      I had a size 11 boot and the Union Atlas in size medium was just a tad bit too small for comfort

    That 3bts gotta be nice for that trick. I just got a Bataleon airobic, is that similar to the global warmer?

    • @chumdizzfolk7660
      @chumdizzfolk7660 5 лет назад +1

      Jonathan Kosyjana, I just sold my Airobic last year and traded up for the GW. Same flex, but the GW has carbon fiber stringers underneath the bindings, so torsionally it doesn’t twist nearly as easy. So I learned a bunch of ground butters and spins with the Airobic, and the GW definitely takes more effort. But without the Airobic I probably wouldn’t have got the moves down without it. The GW however is much more stable at high speeds carving. Preforms about the same on rails/boxes, on jumps I feel very confident, you get more pop outa spin tricks because torsionally it snaps out of it. And you can do a manual for days because leaning doesn’t twist the board out from you. So there’s a differences but the Airobics a great board, and the park will be fun, have fun this year!

    • @kosycat1
      @kosycat1 5 лет назад

      Chumdizz Folk gotcha nice. I liked it, but compared my other board a regular burton custom felt a bit noodlish on the butters.just what i got it for. I got the two to cover most of my bases, but i was ripping on it all day. Once
      I started getting more Comfortable the custom felt just as easy to jib on. Bit im like 140 tops and thats a 154 so.got the 151 airbic with cartels

    • @chumdizzfolk7660
      @chumdizzfolk7660 5 лет назад

      Jonathan Kosyjana nice, yea I ride 154 too. Years back I rented a burton custom when I went to whistler BC, I couldn’t tell you about the bindings or boots, but I had a hard time doing switch 180s going down the mtn, and it felt real heavy. I had a ton of fun still, but I would only try it again if a friend had one. The bataleon Disaster is even more noodly. And I’m bias now so my option might suck, I just like 3BT. I did own a Rome shank 151, I just didn’t like that it flexed only in the middle. You ride any other boards?

    • @kosycat1
      @kosycat1 5 лет назад

      Chumdizz Folk yeH i live in baltimore so i dont go riding as much as i hope. My
      Last Board was a beater board I bought years ago it was a k2 not sure what model. But it liked it, it was a 148 though, and before that i had a ride lowride lol..Glad to finally have proper setups. I have a lot more edge control. And i like the 3bt a lot but i can make due with the custom if need be.

    It's a neat trick. Does anyone know the origin of the trick (was it adapted from another board sport, or no) and why it's called "hot garbage"?

    • @benm6224
      @benm6224 6 лет назад +2

      Synathidy it’s called hot garbage because it’s “hot garbage” it looks cool and flashy to new people but in reality it’s super stupid and easy (still a super fun playful trick, I love it and everyone who does it lol)

      It's easy to get fooled looking on the mirror by snowboard outfit but in reality, my mind keep says "just don't jump and break any part of my body or my snowboarding will be over forever~". So I try to stay on the ground....... :P

    • @logantrischett8621
      @logantrischett8621 6 лет назад

      If you are good at riding and can easily carve, hitting some small jumps should be pretty easy for you. Most resorts have beginner parks with little baby jumps that are great for getting the feeling of going in the air and the force of landing. Or just go off the side of the jumps for rails and boxes as those are always small. Biggest thing is just keep those knees bent.

    • @tirachina
      @tirachina 6 лет назад

      I am 50 this year and just discovered snowboarding last year. I am still a novice rider. Just by watching you guys ride, jump and do some tricks gives me joy. But then I also know those are not for me to perform xD. I do some cruising (maybe 12mph max) and I am happy with it. One thing is that only if I knew about snowboarding 20 years ago , would have been awesome.
