The ego dissolves bit by bit because it doesn't really experience time and space while subjected to the game, just an endless experience while the brain struggles to successfully create some form of coherent context. I knew a guy who had that done. He's been in and out of the hospital ever sense but that's probably more a result of his steroid use and his habit of fighting ancient prehistoric humans and sword wielding martial arts gods. Last I saw him his teeth were made of metal and his entire lower face was completely reconstructed.

Doubt it, diminishing returns is quite the buzzkill for technology, exponential growth doesn't exist.
@RawrxDev are you stupid . It exists in finance , it exists in tech . There is a reason its a mathematical term . I mean the progress of humans with tools has always been exponential . Just look at how everything changed in the last century progressively, you will understand.
@@vaeIokre Only for periods of time, sigmoids are what you see.
@@vaeIokrewell if you take a topic as wide as “technology” then yes that’s true. However, I think if you look at specific technologies, such as batteries or pc processing power, the rate of improvement is like an S curve. It starts slow, exponentially grows, and then inevitability slows down

@user-ks1kg8of6c lol bro spend his free time in discord to "troll" RUclips comment sections, rope
It's not.
The problem is you think the "AI" is assuming, it's not, it's just random bullshit. There is no logic or thought or anything, it's just guessing based on a bunch of trained data (probably stolen too).
Assuming is part of intelligence, which "AI" don't have. It's like if you make a story by randomly flipping pages of a magazine.
Only people that don't know shit about Computer Science are impressed by this, which is really fucking sad.

This with a VR headset would go crazy
It will be a mega challenge to get this kind of thing in VR, VR needs two images, for an AI to be consistent in generating two images of the same scene from slightly positions is a huge ask. The resolution of error would have to be imperceptibly small otherwise you’ll have two different images in each eye and it would just look like a blurred mess, even if we’re at a point where the video above looks 4K and perfect, to have a second render done by AI from another angle, I don’t think we’ll be seeing it for over a decade, that’s not even mentioning the performance load of doing this twice at a high enough frame rate for VR which at minimum you need 90fps.

Dude if you combine the horror media of Herobrine and this AI gameplay that would feel so surreal. Legit fever dream.
Let’s be realistic here. If people start making ai games and it ends up being ass then those companies are gonna fall hard on their ass when people stop purchasing the games. It’s not like all of a sudden every game developer is gonna just stop making games because of ai generated games
Yeah, true. If it sucks it'll just fall flat.
AI slop is only succeeding because it doesn't have to get purchased, all it needs is to be seen
it is still decades off, the minecraft "AI" only works because it's trained on tens of thousands of hours of minecraft gameplay. if you want to make anything different then there isnt anything to train the ai model on
also keep in mind that its a super computer running the "gameplay", its not appliable residentially, and even if you want it to run on a centralized server its still way too costly

@@TuftyTaltan yes if u were to pay for that minecraft acid trip i bet almost no one would after seeing vids from it. Ppl only try it for memes and cuz its free.
What makes this concept cool is that it basically is creating a game without any code. It’s ai generated images for each frame. It takes the previous couple frames and the mechanical input from your keyboard and mouse as a “prompt” to predict/generate the next “image” or frame of the game.
