As someone who lives with cats, guinea pigs, and a bunny, I can confirm that fur gets *everywhere.* There’s that looming sense of there’s fur everywhere - it’s all over your clothes, floating in the air, or maybe in your water or food.
Personally that’s only my really big pet peeve (pun intended) because I absolutely hate the fact that I could inhale, drink or otherwise consume fur at any given time.
But in the end it’s so worth it. I’ve made some (and continue to make) amazing memories and moments.
When I woke up one morning and realized it had been nine straight months since she touched me any differently then family normally would.
Nine months since she said yeah sure.
Nine months since she did anything more then kiss me first. Not even a hug.
I had her old phone and could have proven to myself what was going on the entire time. But two years is enough time for someone like me to die for their loved ones.
I still have that old phone. Never did go through it.
I'm better off just never confirming it.

Needless to say i broke up not too long after
When she valued insights from her retired cop dad and her sister, in spite of coming out of a relationship where the previous ex-boyfriend cheated on her constants and treated her like crap while she was in college.
The dad thought I would be abusive to his daughter due to being former military (plus he was former military too) and the sister didn’t want to have to choose between being friends with me and being on her sister’s side.
