  • Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm getting real and sharing a vulnerable moment from my journey through nursing school. Despite hours of practice and preparation, things didn't go as planned, and I found myself grappling with self-doubt and frustration. As a wife and mother of two, balancing the demands of family life while pursuing my dreams in the medical field has been a whirlwind of challenges and triumphs.
Join me as I recount the raw emotions and valuable lessons learned from this setback. From the initial disappointment to the resilience it inspired, I delve into the realities of balancing academic pursuits with the responsibilities of motherhood.
Through sharing my experience, I hope to connect with fellow nursing students, mothers, and anyone navigating the highs and lows of pursuing their passions. Failure is an inevitable part of growth, and it's okay to stumble along the way. Remember, it's how we rise from our setbacks that truly defines us.
So grab a cup of drink or a snack, settle in, and let's dive into this candid conversation about the challenges of nursing school, motherhood, and the journey to becoming the best version of ourselves. Don't forget to hit subscribe and join me on this adventure of learning, growth, and embracing the journey, one IV insertion at a time.

You will do great as a nurse. Push thru the schooling one day at a time. Do your best because you are GOING TO BE A NURSE! At the end of this endeavor, you WILL be a nurse. Period. Don’t break.

I just stumbled on this video and I want to tell you it'll be ok. You only "fail" if you give up or quit! I'm a Registered Nurse, newly graduated, and I failed a whole Med Surg class. I watched my entire friend group pass and walk to stage, take their NCLEX and it really felt like I had failed, but I kept going. Here I am, almost a year later working at a RN myself! You are your worst critic, keep in mind your end goal, it'll be worth it in the end. Nursing school sucks, but one day you'll be looking 'back' on it!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate you! One of my friends didn't pass this block & struggling feeling like we're leaving her behind but you're right one day it will be in the rearview mirror. Good for you girlfriend! I hope you're loving working as an RN!

Just know that the second you set foot on your first job the only time school is brought up is to vent and complain. No one is comparing grades or talking about how many times it took to get a skill or class. You all start the same and grow together 🩷

Thank you so much for saying this! Knowing most of what we talk about in class isn't going to apply in the actual job makes it so frustrating but we all gotta get through it! Thank you again! ❤️
