Hanzo Hattori hence why I said “some” and yes agreed gameplay is easily the most important factor of a game, but also a good story and immersion can sometimes be substituted for janky controls... fallout 3 for example is not the smoothest/ challenging fps hence the whole v.a.t.s gameplay implication but half the reason a lot of people play that game is to get sucked into that world. But hey both points work both ways 👍

Am I the only one who wants Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks 2? The game was good, and now that God of War has a world with 3D camera controls, Shaolin Monks 2 could dominate the fixed camera action genre. They could do big things no matter what the style, but a sequel with this much thought and effort would be awesome. It was a different enough game from the God of War series to warrant continuing it's own series, but alas, all we got was the one game. Go play it if you like Mortal Kombat.

I wouldnt call mortal kombat dark. The violence in the game is fantasy violence and its not scary at all compared to something like the saw movie series which i absolutely despise and will never watch

Connor Kenway I know I loved Tag Team In MK9 me and my brother would play the Deadly Alliance Shang Tsung and Quan Chi and get really good with them and use them on our opponents we would do multiple Tag Team Combos that was really fun

I never had a dad as a child. Ed Boon is like a father figure to me I never had in my life. He created THE best fighting game ever made. Ever since 1993 when I rented the first Mortal Kombat game for Genesis. I held the MK series and its characters to my heart. I was 11 then, I'm 37 now. It's really amazing to think that this man, this icon has been a part of my life for that long. And I STILL get excited like a kid anytime a new MK is released. Thank you, Mr Boon!
Ed Boon actually wants to produce a good game. It's not a cash grab. He knows that if he makes a good game he'll make a lot of money...but he also seems to legitimately care about the franchise. I can't even knock Injustice 1 & 2 because I legitimately enjoyed both of them. Compare NeatherRealm Studios with say....EA. They're polar opposites. If you respect fans, make a good game, and actually care about not ruining a great franchise then you'll continue to get my money. You did it again, Ed.

My real problem was I would get some so-so items that looked really good, but we're simply cosmetic. Then I'd get some very rare stuff that boosted stats well, but didn't look good. I can't stand when developers lock Customization with a randomly generated system because as I saw in injustice 2, the chances of getting gear for the character you liked, and that gear being good, were really slim. I've got wonder woman fully decked out in gold gear but got all of that from her world missions. They should have just kept that the way you get the boxes.

I had some characters that never even got torso items or what not until after sinking a lot of time in...yet Superman had more items than I knew what to do with.

Why should skins be free? It's additional content they decided to make after the game was completed. There is literally no advantage to buying skins. On top of that, all of the money from certain skins in mkx went towards the prize pool in tournaments. Pretty cool if you ask me.@@Elysiabikha

@Syuna having the option to have more people in the fight does not make the game more casual and less competitive. As long as they balance the tag system It only helps the casual play along with the pros. Making the game fun for both skills level.
Angry Joe is so joyful, happy, and charismatic in this interview for the new MK game, and honestly, I can't blame him! I love what Netherrealms is doing with the MK series and the Injustice games. I might not be the best fighter player out there, as I kinda lean more into the casual category of gamers (but still play a lot when I have the time), but these games are really great. Can't wait till the release in April!

tbh in Injustice and MKX microtransactions were never an issue, you earned a ton of cosmetics and a pretty substancial amount of credits if you really play it.

People is waiting tag team online( 4 players together or online 2vs2 ) and tag team offline since mkx ... And Mortal Kombat X's online modes were terrible , boring... No one played faction battle and team battle not tag team , their faction and team battle servers were always empty... Even King of the hill mode of mkx was boring in comparison with mk9's theatrical king of the hill... In mk9 there were babality and chibi mk avatars... Mortal kombat 11 will be the first next generation mk game in my opinıon. The modes like tag team , chest kombat must be in it !

Ed boon is a genius. he really knows what the fans want, i'm sure it's not all him but he seems very involved. It's also clear he's a gamer at heart, you can really see and hear his excitement when he's talking about the game, and it's new features.

I really want tag teaming back! I loved having 3+ people on the couch at a time. I'm very disappointed in this decision.

I had some characters that never even got torso items or what not until after sinking a lot of time in...yet Superman had more items than I knew what to do with.

@Syuna having the option to have more people in the fight does not make the game more casual and less competitive. As long as they balance the tag system It only helps the casual play along with the pros. Making the game fun for both skills level.

Angry Joe is so joyful, happy, and charismatic in this interview for the new MK game, and honestly, I can't blame him! I love what Netherrealms is doing with the MK series and the Injustice games. I might not be the best fighter player out there, as I kinda lean more into the casual category of gamers (but still play a lot when I have the time), but these games are really great. Can't wait till the release in April!

In mk9 there were babality and chibi mk avatars... Mortal kombat 11 will be the first next generation mk game in my opinıon. The modes like tag team , chest kombat must be in it !
