Meshach was also on the pilot episode of the Golden Girls.He played a cop who comes to tell Blanche her fiance had been arrested for bigamy.

Dixie tended to over run her character with all her singing and later acted cutesy and fake.
Best when she didn't ham it up.
Hooks was a waste as were Duffy and Place. Yawn...
