Designing Women , as Julia, the episode where they went camping and stayed in a Cabin and went Dancing. Fun episode. Her Husband Hal and Delta’s Husband Jerald played in that episode too! and that made it even more fun!❤️🎬👏👏
I'm from Atlanta originally, and I dearly loved her character in Designing Women. Miss Dixie was the perfect southern lady. She could tell you off without using any vulgar language 😉, I loved that. Rest in peace Miss Dixie 🙏
Thank you and I'm Glad to see the Channel Growing. 👍👏👏👏. I Remember Designing Women. Her Role as Julia Sugarbaker was refreshing and she was so classy. She played that part, but no suprise she was Very Talented. I spent a lot times just laughing and enjoying that show. No doubt you knew who was the Boss.🙂. I remember she was married to Actor Hal Holbrooke. He was a fine Actor as well. That kind of cancer was hard to detect. I'm told very painful. Sad she had to endure that. You did a very good job. Don't worry about it. Take your time. Glad to see her final Resting place, glad you took us there. I got no notification. Luckily I was on my phone, saw you were live. I just rewatched so I didn't miss a thing. Take care. Love, and Blessing to you and your family. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita,Ace and family. ✌🖖🕯💕🦋🌠🌻🙂👋👣.
I always enjoy your cemetery walk-throughs. I’m always fascinated by the above ground crypts and wonder why people prefer that to regular burials. Another note, I wrote to Dixie Carter, and at the time I was collecting I would have celebrities draw a picture of themselves and sign it. Mrs. Carter obliged as well as sent me a signed photo. Thank you so much for showing us her final resting place.
I loved the episode of Designing Women where she was defending her sister to someone who had made some snarky remark about her sister's pageant history. She was vicious, but she never said an ugly word!
When you think about "Designing Women," you k think of Dixie Carter. Especially that episode dealing with men versus women. She was also on "Different Strokes"
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing more in the future, so Dixie Carter is inside an above ground columbarium or outside cyrupt hopefully your viewers will understand that and the presenter
Loved her as Julia Sugarbaker. My favorite episode was where she told off a beauty queen who was talking smack about her sister. She let her have it and ended with That is the night the lights went out in Georgia!! Iconic
Her character Julia sugarbaker defined her that character was made for her Dixie rest easy sweet angel we will see you soon in God's golden garden😢😘🌹♥️
Jason you did an A+ narrative on Dixie Carter, I liked her in Designing Women, didn't know she was from the quaint little town of McLemorseville and buried there . ❤ I live fairly close to it. Be careful of Yellow Jackets they bite and sting relentlessly 😢
Hal Holbrooks name is there. You can seen it at 5:53 of the video if you enlarge it. Even then it’s hard to see but you can make it out. Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed Dixie in everything I saw her in

Great video but was surprised that you didn’t mention her husband, actor Hal Holbrook
It was an A plus video you were very informative.

Can you still write to people like that today or is that a thing of the past now?
@@BackRoads1 I haven’t tried in years. In this eBay era, celebrities want to sell their autographs. Even the senators fail to respond.
I even remember doing that as a kid for baseball cards. Kinda a bummer it turned into that.
When she sang How Great Thou Art on designing women
Another great video she was a great actress Southern Belle
I loved the episode of Designing Women where she was defending her sister to someone who had made some snarky remark about her sister's pageant history. She was vicious, but she never said an ugly word!

Thanks loads for taking us along, I really appreciate it. I loved her as Julia Sugarbaker, she sizzled!
So many graves with no flowers. Where my family is, there are so many flowers and ornaments etc.
She was a classy lady

This one hurt me. I had a major crush on her . I loved Designing Women, she also played as Mr. Drummond’s girlfriend Maggie on Different Strokes.
She was married to Actor Hal Holbrook who died in 2021
When you think about "Designing Women," you k think of Dixie Carter. Especially that episode dealing with men versus women.

Her husband Hal Holbrook was an actor as well He is also buried there.
Man this channel has grown fast I was one of the first 600 subscribers congratulations keep up the good work
It has grown fast. Faster than I could have ever imagined.
You missed mentioning her appearance on "Diff'rent Stokes," Carter bore a strong facial resemblance to Joan Crawford, RIP

Julia Sugerbaker! I love her in that TV show. I still watch and it still makes me laugh and cry. Rip to a very beautiful lady❤

My favorite was her telling “the Donald” Trump that “We don’t care!”
I loved her on different strokes when she married Phil dromond and her son moved in with them rest in peace Dixie
From 84-85 she was on Different strokes
Faces of the fraudulent stole your rocking chair video and has uploaded it
Your vidio was awful. You showed good vidios of old headstones. Yes you showed basically nothing of Dixie.
Still watch u Dixie U n Hal a love story
The night the lights went out in Georgia...
I loved her as Orsons mom on Desperate Housewives . She played the duplicitous witch very well... I almost believed thats who she was. Great actress.
Wonder why Hal Holbrook's name isn't on stone yet? He died and buried next to her on Jan 23, 2021.
I think it was there….if you look closely you can see the writing very faintly!
I was wondering that myself so I went back and looked and you're right. It's there, just not as deeply cut in as hers is. Thanks for spotting that. 😊😊
@@pegschwalbach2500 Yes it’s a very light etching!
I never heard she died.. thats sad. I liked Designing Women... Hope we still have Delta Burke Mecasch Taylor and Jean Smart.
Mesach Taylor died in 2014 I think it was 2014.
