No way! I saw this book at the library a few months ago. When I got home, I looked up more about it and saw that a studio was planning to make the book into an anime. I didn’t believe it. I thought only mangas were made into animes. Imaginary is a British Novel. Sure enough though, here it is. The animation is stunning, and they even gave the kids British accents.

Now you see this is something that only animation could accomplish. And the trailer is a good example of why animation is not merely a genre but an actual medium of art, and sometimes is able to do things better than live action with CGI. Super excited for this.

I came up with it after the disenchantment and betrayal you feel after graduating at university and you learn it's all a con and everything you work for up until that point was, almost, for nothing. It feels like Netflix took pity on me and gave me this to look forward to. :-)
