I´d only wish the Dominar was unleashed and have those 40 hp plus she deserves. As cpt. Kirk used to say, punch it ! We like what you make and we want more.... ;)

Those, and the Himalayan, are clearly underpowered regarding its cubic capacity, and I can´t imagine exactly why. 26 hp is too little for a 400 cc, more adecquate for a 250 actually. It doesn´t look like an impediment to develop the engine, but a marketing decision. Otherwise I think is a great bike, solid, original and well manufactured. The 650 is a hell of a bike. I want to get married to an Interceptor. Metaphorically...
What was missing and what people demanded was also heard by Jawa and they are providing Dual Channel ABS with rear disc but what about mileage. Interceptor 650 is giving same mileage instead of having much powerful engine. 🤔 Or else everything is perfect about Jawa 42. Just everything. 😊

@@BIGBLACKICE I have a RX 135 5 SPEED stock of year 1998 . No engine done up nothing , not even pistons changed , no borekit changed too . I can insert the feeling of two stroke too :) the breeze of them is evergreen no matter wat come ND go .
I just got to ride my uncle's Royal Enfield Bullet over the weekend, and was impressed. It changed my perception of such bikes. Used hate for being loud. But they've got the power and smoothness. I can't wait try a Jawa out, heard a lot about them. And the twin exhausts is what I'm about, they just look classic and sexy. And great video again Dino, classy review as always.
A modern classic with a small enough engine displacement , low seat ( so basically a bike for almost everybody) and cheap but does not look cheap. The big 4 Japanese brands didn’t even came close to produce a motorcycle like this and triumph came close with the street twin but but the smallest is only at 900cc. I hope these jawa will make it through Europe and sell well. Well done jawa..well done

Better than RE ? RE doesnt even stand a chance looking at all the specs what JAWA has gotten into this bike. Kudos, RE needs to evolve quickly into the likes of JAWA to keep up its name in the indian market else it will soon be a dinosaur.

Sir, nicely said. The detailed information was impeccable. The bike seems great. The bike seems compact, unlike the royal Enfield which seems a bit weird where the engine is installed. Too much space is there.
It has mojo engine which is always performance focussed. Not for the people running after fuel economy as mojo average is about 25 kmpl but it is a beautiful machine
I really like the looks of the Jawa 42. I think it would be great if Jawa adapted maintenance free belt drive and the option of being able to kick start the bike.

Did you feel any fit and finish issue with the bikes you tested??? The weld seams, cables and wires fitted well??? Heard it from many reviewers who have the initial review months back.

This review was much needed .I am opting fr the classic as i luv the jawa’s retro look. All i have is one question. I agree, I'm in Texas in the USA and really want one of these Jawas too, they look amazing and are reasonably priced.
Check out the 2019 version of the Dominar. The engine has been slightly retuned to produce 39 bhp. USD forks as well.

Yeah 350 sales have come down up to 20% but what about twins 650 it is selling like hot cakes so can't compare the whole jawa company with RE
