I love this plugin, I've been using it for a few months now and it's pretty much the only thing I have on the Master Bus.

I got this over Schwabe, price was good, but honestly it’s the speed you can master at with this - so easy and quick. It’s all ears as well - no graphs to trick you. With one or 2 other processors I get right to the sound of a good master.

Excellent review showing what the settings actually do. You're the best. I can get pretty close with my plugin chain, but this does look and sound impressive.

Do you have a video, or do you have one that discusses crossover filters, clean vs dirty, distortion etc. ?

I own both plugins, but the Gold Clip is a winner to me. You can even hear the difference on a cell phone😂. But both of them sound good.

Great video there! I think this plugin would really shine if you use it on an MP Controller which is a dedicated plugin controller instead of the mouse.

Thanks! I dont know if they will do that, up until now they seem to avoid the most emulated brands. Their Xtressor comes close though.

I usually split my masters between two limiters. Would you use this limiter as a last plugin in a mastering chain? Or maybe follow this up with a Fabfilter L2?

I always use a limiter as the last plugin for the chain, fab filter pro-l2 as well. . Even when I use a clipper. I use oversampling on it, true peak, and have the output level set to whatever I export for, usually somewhere from -1 to -0.1,

I really don't understand why the notches on the "calm" are fixed?

    • @whitenoisestudio

My guess is that these notches were tested to be most effective most of the time and a variable EQ would have gotten too complex.
      But that is pure speculation.

@@whitenoisestudio Ill buy it just because of that. Maximum rgb over maximum lufs.
No for real, just tried it, great algorithms! Wish it had a visualizer.
