Great video featherlight, thanks for what you do. Actually this plugin has been updated it now have mid EQ and overall better metering display. The upgrade is free. Simplicity is the key these days especially if you can get good results.

Excellent video. Would have been good to have a Master Plan v Ozone comparison at the end.

    Hi Steve,
I think your videos are very educational, helpful, and informative. I watch them frequently. Thank you!
I have watched your video many times on complete mastering in Cubase from start to finish. It has helped me master many mixes. I use your suggested chain with the multi band EQ, Multi band compressor, maximizer, brickwall, limiter, magneto II, etc. and supervision. The mixes have turned out very nice thanks to you! What I wanted to know was: In your opinion, do you think that Master Plan produces the same quality or at least close to the quality that you get with those particular chain of plug-ins that you used in your other “Mastering” video that I mentioned above? Could this be an alternative that would work equally as well as that chain? If you had to choose one method or the other, which would you use? And BTW, I just purchased the Master Plan plug-in.
Thank you so much for your response!

I think this has to do with workflow more than capability. With out a doubt, the individual modules of a mastering chain give you more surgical control over the final product. However, Master Plan can get you there much faster, and sometimes speed is an issue. If your doing quick mixes for client approval or to send to session players or collaborators then Master Plan makes a lot of sense.

You’re doing a great job, idk why so many people have left cuebase when it’s a great daw. I think it was the whole ilok, logging in thing and they lost loads of people. Fl seems to be making headway but I can’t stand it. You can’t even re size the screen……

This is IT if you wanna get there fast. I'm afraid the mastering guys might lose some clients for those who fees really matters. Thanx for another great video.

    Checked out Lurssen Mastering Console?

Im a fan of the Lurssen console as well, a very capable mastering tool but, I think for shear simplicity, Master Plan is hard to beat. Especially for those with little mastering experience.

If you had a mix bus set up that you're mixing into... You really can't just take it all out. It makes a lot more sense just to put master plan as the last plugin on the mix bus, In many scenarios. From peeking at it on RUclips it looks like a really cool plugin. Ed Thorn out it up against Ozone and liked Master Pan's results more....i agreed with him.

Would of been nice to leave the plugin in white color mode so we could see it better . Just saying .
