which mouse do you prefer, viper v2 pro or gpx?
G703 > GPX > Viper
Viper V2 Pro hands down. Shape is king, and it’s even lighter than the Superlight. A true gift from the gods.
viper v2 pro x superlight
i think viper v2 pro looks cooler but idk, i only have model o so i cant say anything
I prefer the grip of the gpx, and the click is very good, unfortunately the side buttons are really mushy
Up to this point I’d been switching between the Viper Ultimate and the Superlight because I couldn’t decide if I wanted a better shape or lower weight. The V2 Pro was an instant buy for me and I’ve found my endgame mouse.
@@hasanity5220 weird

Been waiting for this comparison, Viper V2 Pro is not available yet in my area so I just got the GPX 2 days ago for $104 on sale. And also you've always recommended the GPX so huge thanks Boardzy!
Where did u find the gpx for 104 dollars? New??
@@danielbarandica758 it was on sale. And yes brand new.
great review and the info about the discount at the end is really helpful. much much appreciated.
Amazing video Boardzy, i love your work
I bought the v2 and the side button are honestly impressive basically no pre or post travel just high quality.
Goated for bringing up the education discount. I knew about it and I'm pretty sure Logitech has one too through another company, but I always thought it would be nice for reviewers to mention it.
My viper ultimate has been great for daily use over the last 6 months now. If Logitech release a new revision for the superlight then I may be tempted to get it
The viper v2 release puts into perspective how iconic the GPX truly is. Logitech managed this back in 2020 and other companies are just now catching up. The fact it was the first mouse of its kind on the market and STILL holds up (and probably will until a new GPX version releases) against the newest releases is pretty crazy.
Not a fanboy btw, I own both these mice but gotta give credit where it’s due.
i completely agree
It just needed that USB C mannnn 😭😭😭 woulda been hella future proof. I love it tho, I have two lmao
@@yharles6536 USBC does not matter when it is on your desk and you need a cable to plug into the dongle anyways.
@@yharles6536 usb-c port have more weight
Are you capping? There was a pandemic that happened in between that you are glossing over. It also wasn’t the first mouse of its kind, the Finalmouse Ultralight came out in 2018 and even that mouse wasn’t the first.
Feel free to complement Logitech in introducing the first viable wireless gaming mouse, but leave the rest out of it. The GPX isn’t special, it simply took put stuff that already existed and made it into a mainstream mouse and charged way too much money for it. They still use omron switches for crying out loud! Its a crime to charge that much money for omron switches.
Logitech hasn’t made a new mouse in years, all they do is update their old shapes, and their old shapes are some of the worst on the market. One of the few shapes that people actually like is the G403 and they refuse to make a superlight version.
Logitech hasn’t release a mouse since the superlight came out in 2020. They haven’t even discounted the mouse much yet, its still at $130, and there is no special tech in the gpro superlight that costs anywhere close to $100.
Logitech is robbing you blind, and you’re thanking them for it.
Yessir been looking for a comparison
strange, i have the v2 pro and whether i leave it on sleep or just straight up turn it off, the cursor always registers immediately once I either move it or turn it on. It actually moves before synapse even shows the mouse on its app.
I lost the dongle for my Superlight and the Razer Viper V2 Pro is looking quite dope and I might add it to my arsenal of gaming mice since I can no longer use my Superlight in wireless mode and have to use the crappy cord it has. Good review and I think I just found my next mouse and possible end game if I enjoy the shape!
hi
@RuDuffEnough WellRu How do you set the dongle up?
@RuDuffEnough WellRu Way off the mark. Once the dongle is lost - throw the mouse away.
You can buy another dongle lol
thank you so much for making this
A real good reveiw! ty.
Would love to see a comparison between the V2 Pro and the XM2W once it actually releases!
Still waiting too haha

Yo boardzy I've not been following mousepads lately, I've been maining the Shidenkai for a couple years now and now that they aren't producing them anymore I'm not sure what pad to get... I'm not really keen on the skypad and I've not seen many good reviews on the Glorious Ice. Do you know of any other glass coated pads similar to the Shidenkai? Cheers bro
Hey boardzy what do you think about the hystar mousepad cause its the only option available here. I play on low sens mainly first person shooter (Warzone , CS:GO , Apex)
what are your thoughts on the model o pro? would u bust out a based review soon.
I have the same feeling that razer/viper tends to move faster than GPX under same edpi. I think it is because of dpi deviation, and I feel like it's about 30 to 50(400 as GPX, 430~450 on the viper) I hope they can fix this with a firmware update.
its probably because of the sensor placement.
its motionsync, idk why he never even talked about it in the video
I got both the viper v2 and the GPX superlight and RMA'd the viper.
Side play was bothering me, just by pressing the RMB it would hit against the left wall of the indent (and make weird sounds). I could also actuate the side buttons by squeezing the mouse.
Sad because I really like the shape but don't want to pay top money for a mouse that has this kind of build quality.
Plus the GPX cost 100 EUR and the viper v2 160 EUR.
Hi boardzy, I'm using a quite old Logitech g300s, which is quite a small mouse, and I want to transition to a wireless mouse in the future, but I'm not sure if I wanna go for a larger mouse like gpx or viper or stick with small ambi/ergo mice like how I am currently.
razer viper mini, trust me its much better to go with something youre comfortable with in terms of size
@@axroo5068 thats not wireless tf
Hey Boardzy, you should do a video about the nootropics you take. I’ve heard a lot about Alpha GPC from /r/nootropics and I’d love to hear your experience in terms of gaming/maybe a bit of life.
Hi, its any dif between GPX black, white and magenta ? i mean as construction perspective i heard last batch of gpx magenta is better from that perspective compared whit black and white, is that tru ? :D btw u do an amazing job whit those reviews BIG up !
13:54 maybe the sensitivty difference is due to the placement of the sensor being further / nearer relative to your palm's base ?
Wow that’s great you also have big hands like me. Have you tried bigger mouses like the Zowie ec1 C for big hands like ours ?
Good review. Im taking v2 pro but im hoping for vpm v2.. btw whats his keyboard on white caps?
Apex pro tkl
Boardzy, how long does a superlight works fine before you buy another?
Hi there, im about half way through your review and i really like it.
Ive been using the viper v2 pro since launch aswell and to me the viper feels wayyy lighter just cus of the balancing.
Ive let a couple of people try the mouse on lan last weekend and they also said it feels much lighter, allthough only having like 3-5g difference.
just wanted to put that out there.
Thanks for your amazing content brother
Quick addition, to me griptapes on the v2 pro are a gamechanger. without griptapes i would switch back to the gpx, thats just my taste tho.
The flared sides really make it feel way lighter. The shape is just unbeatable.
@@ayzee5480 hey which griptapes are you using?
@@lunis506 on the viper v2 pro i use the ones that came with it. They have very much texture, much more than the ones logitech puts in the box of the gpx.
@@ayzee5480 thank you! would you recommend them for sweaty hands?
Razer viper v2 pro ftw, best shape for me, I like v3 optical switches, it weighs lighter than the gpx, the coating in the gpx might be slightly better/better grip but I actually like the textured feel on the v2 pro. Overall both are amazing gaming mice, choose which everyone feels better in hand or suits your grip style
Quick question what grip style are you using. I'm planning to buy one of these mice because unfortunately, someone stole my gpx a few months ago but I can't decide which one to get
@@mikec5349 My grip style is mainly claw grip. But you can use any style grip. The best style grip for this mouse is claw and fingertip grip imo. Had the mouse for about 4+ months and it’s holding up pretty well. Love the mouse, I highly recommend it. G pro x is also a great mouse it depends on how much you want it to spend and the grip styles you use. Both are amazing honestly
@@thehottestbeatzHow bi go are your hands? Im thinking about getting it and I use claw grip as well
Glad you will main the Razer Viper v2. I wanna know if you can feel a difference between the weight of the Razer Viper v2 vs the incoming End Gear XM2w xd
Hey boardzy, can you do a review on asus rog chakram x aimpoint? Because the specs are tops of the line of 36k dpi, 8k polling rate and swappable switches. Maybe it’s good for palm user too
Any idea when you might be able to review the new Glorious Model O PRO?
Boardzy, out of topic but what are those supplements in your background?
i have a model o and i am in need for a new mouse, and I was wondering what you would recomend for me. I have only had a model o for two years and durability is very important. I have big hands too btw. What mouse would you recomend for me?
Boardzy, do you have any plans on reviewing the razer basalisk?
I love the v2 and after a week or so I added side grips and it's almost perfect now. Using it on an Odin Infinity.
@Daniel Wang u get grips along with the mouse
Is the shape good for claw grip, or does the superlight have a better shape?
Thank you so much for this now I know which one to buy now
which one do you prefer?
@@riqwz6263 he’s getting the Logitech G502
@RiQwz I’m getting the gpx wireless
feel like id prefer the viper shape over the gpx as i own and main the gpx currently and im buying the viper v2 pro because my superlights coating is like shining rn likely cause i got sweaty palms or smthn but i feel like the viper is better imo and i pray to god i dont regret spending money on it
Looking for a mouse for productivity and casual gaming, how is the superlight for just normal productivity vs like logitech m720 which weighs 135 grams, isn’t a lighter mouse better for productivity tbh? Just wondering thanks
please make a comparison with Orochi v2 pro, because I am planning to get this mice and I've used orochi v2 for a long time now
Hey Mate, how come the side buttons on your gpx are like a different color? Normally they should be in pink too, no?
I just noticed... did you take the side buttons from the shroud edition g pro and put them in the superlight bc of the buttons better profile sizes?
Gonna need a part 2 of this video when the Glorious O Pro and Pulsar ambi mouse comes out.
which would you guys suggest switching to ive been using a model o for a couple years now but im looking at these two and i just dont even know
Hello Boardzy,
I have an issue on my g pro superlight,
I can't make micro adjustments (the LOD is too low, it's my impression), maybe the problem is about mouse feet (i use default mouse feet) or the shape ? I'm ZA12 user,
I wanted to play wireless but it's complicated, Ty for videos !
Boardzy what mods would u suggest on the razer viper v2?
what is the mousepad in the thumbnail?
if its unreleased, when is there going to be a review?
when you say the side buttons on the gpx feel mushy do you mean when you press the down or just how they fell on your fingertips?
probably going to switch to the v2 pro in a bit. ive been using the superlight for around a year but i honestly hate the shape, love the viper shape
dont care
@@megaclinton6527 it was good opinion tho , do care
I went from a GPX SL and tried out the V2 Pro and holy shit. I’ve been hitting my best shots I ever have.
so do you not like using grips on the gpx except on the side buttons?
I don't have any experience with either mouse, but I have experience with a razer deathadder elite. I also have the same problem with the creak and squek in the scroll wheel
Do you think the harder to press main clicks on the v2 pro is a deal breaker?
Is that the new GSR SE in the thumbnail
Which to buy from these 2/?> boardzy?? Razer Viper v2 Pro VS Logitech G Pro X?
I used the g502, i like it but i want to change. Im thinking about the gpx. Its cheaper than the viper, almost as good and i just love the way it looks. I also dont know if im gonna like it because the g502 is way heavier. Any help of what should i get?
I started pc gaming on the G203 wired super low profile ambi mouse then I bought the super light took some getting used to and this christmas I asked for the Viper V2 pro which I would say is a good happy medium between the two so im hoping itll be my end game but the super light has treated my great
Hey boardz I’ve been buying a lot of steel series mouses now and I was wondering if you could do a review on the steelseries aerox 3
I already did like 2 years ago, I didn’t like it that much

I just bought a pink G PRO X Superlight and got some new arc 1 skates and the glass ones for $12 off, and some BTL grip tape I believe, I used your 10% off code too.
Since I had a student ID from ten years ago at my local technical college I was able to get 30% off my superlight from the logitech website, ensuring I get a good model with proper switches too.
My side buttons on the razer viper v2 pro are a little bit wobbly how can I prevent that
How can you be so sure the Omron's in the Superlight won't have double click? I love my G-Pro wireless but I can't STAND the double click and click hold. Sometimes it acts like I haven't let go. I'd like to try the next one but I'm worried about that.
Hey boardzy I have mained the gpx for a year . I really like it but I am not sure how to grip it. I usually can’t get a consistent grip with it because its a little big for my hands and its really smooth so i wanted to try out a st12 small .Is it good for 16-9 hands?
Yeah it should fit you better
another banger from boardzy
Thoughts on model o pro?
What skates/feets should I get for Superlight ? ( to use with Artisan Hien )
Is the Viper V2 Pro's coating different to the Viper Ultimate's ?
Hey man I have a quick question, We’re I live there is a sale on the Logitech G pro X so it costs 120$ and they don’t have the viper v2 pro so should I buy the Logitech?
Thoughts on Ninjutso Katana Superlight?
started w razer mice years ago but once i got into logitech i havent had any other mice this is the first time im actually torn between these 2
Is there a mouse pad that will charge this mouse so I never have to plug it in?
So currently which mouse do u recommend to purchase wireless and non wireless and why? (FINGERTIP user) [more of a aggresive fingertip ( fingertip + claw ) ]
The Viper Ultimate hits the back of my palm Hand Length: 17.6 & Hand Width: 9.7
where did he get the blue side buttons from
GPX!! i struggled with the end game and the superlight buttt i ALWAYS end up with the gpx in my palm. its just perfection.
still waiting for a mini version of both of these :(
What mouse pad is on ur desk boardzy
ive been on the same superlight for over a year now and I think that it is time for a change. I think that I am going t o pick up the ultimate
only complaint with my superlight is the side buttons, went from a deathadder v2 that lasted 4 years to a 130$ mouse... i expected better side buttons than my middle of the road razer mouse
I love ur videos
You any mice with the g502 click feel but not heavy af ?
you still enjoying the infiinty-hump for the SL12?
Yep, it's really just on our own preference of our hands
I already tried gripping Viper Ultimate and GPX then I came to my own conclusion. I usually use claw grip and my fingers are not too long. It seems that my hands prefers the high back hump from the GPX so that my palm can rest in that hump more. When I held the Viper Ultimate, it seems that the mouse is too long for my hand (the length from front to back) and it's more flat? and I feel odd using claw grip on the Viper Ultimate.
That's why I bought Logitech G Pro X Superlight and even with the release of the Viper v2 Pro, I will just stick on my G Pro X Superlight.
P.S. I'm about to mod the hell out of this mouse of mine. Gonna switch the stock mouse encoder for a TTC Yellow Core and the mouse switches for Kailh GM 8.0
Honestly I'm surprised by the number of people who mod their mouse...like why? It already has so little components...
@@benten1443 I'm assuming it's the same for people who mod their keyboards, once they feel how much better they can make it feel you can never go back.
I bought a GPROX and returned it right away. It was not for me. The side buttons felt really mushy. Came straight back do my Model D- Wireless.
Had the original VU and now I use a Superlight. Loving it for hip fire where I improved greatly. But for ADS, the Viper shape is just better IMO. I have more control and my little finger is in a stable position the whole time (palm grip). On the Superlight I never know a stable position where it doesn't bother me in game.
Between the objectively better side buttons and the prefered personal taste, I'm thinking of grabbing this.
Do it. I was in the same boat and It’s amazing.
Dude. Try toggle aim.
Are you honestly for real with this?
@@nexxusty don’t like toggle. I am for real with this.
@@nexxusty fuck toggle aim.
I wonder is 80 eur for gpx good value?? cause this new one v2 is like 150 eur...
Hello. Now I am faced with a choice of what to change my Logitech G PRO Wireless to! Whether on the Logitech G PRO X Superlight, or on the Razer Viper v2 Pro! I play competitive shooters. The size of the palm is 9-9.5 cm wide and long from the beginning of the wrist to the end of the thumb 20 cm. I can’t try the Razer Viper v2 Pro, no matter how sorry, but the shape of the Logitech G PRO Superlight is similar to my G PRO! And I don't know how to choose! Technologically, Razer is clearly better, as the newest sensor and new optical switches. What should I do?
I have used the original viper in the past and as someone with smallish hands I didn't really find the shape comfortable so I decided to buy the GPX since it was on sale.
Can I use a magnetic charging cable for the viper v2pro product?
I got a viper ult . Not sure which one I wanna upgrade to I wanna try out the super light at least never even tried to g pro
Do you stack mouse pads when you play?
Still waiting for the razer viper mini ultimate.
Btw, theres aftermarket dock for g pro x superlight, whereas viper v2 pro got rid of the dock all together.
How about the scroll wheel clicks I know the g pros is good but what about the viper ?
Well at this price point, shape matters the most, normal gamers won't notice the difference between the sensors. So just choose the more comfy option according to your hand size and grip style.
I have the same issue on the scroll wheel of my V2 Pro.
hi, can you put the batery from the razer mouse like out like logitech can do?
How is the new GSR-SE?
I just got the v2 pro as I previously had the g pro super light the reason I switched was because the middle mouse button on the super light broke in less than 3 months for no reason
My viper v2 just started jumping while scrolling. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what did you do about it?
