    Great job, very fast and efficient use of personnel and apparatus. I am a true believer that the truck belongs in front of the structure, unless power lines prevent the use of the aerial. Having additional engines arrive from the opposite direction was perfect. The only thing that I saw, and almost EVERY dept. does the same thing is the flaking out of the supply line BEFORE it fills with water. In this case it wasn't really an issue because the only kink was quickly corrected, but it's much easier to maneuver when it's dry. Again, a great job done by all.

    Excellent job Quint 25! It was a great pleasure for this old fire dog to see that kind of hustle on the fire ground! When I was an engineer, water supply to my engine was only secondary to water to my attack crews. A+ on both!

    They forgot on critical thing. They never pulled the power on the house. The porch light was on the hole time. Very dangerous for the crew’s working the fire. Water and electricity don’t mix to well. The ladder truck stopped to close under the power lines. But out side of that and how long it took to get there they got a quick knock down.

    Not sure if I hear correctly, explosions of some kind? Not a comforting sound to hear when approaching a fire I'm sure.
    I really like how well the first arrivals give very clear info to the engines that arrive later. No errors, everyone on the same page as to what's happening.

    The quint is a Sutphen SL-70. A very practical truck except for the main ladder access. The turntable is poorly designed as it is a modified Tower, and getting onto the main to climb up is a challenge all its own.

    i when back to rescue lost. or injuries hiker in the national mountain park here time off i come back to the farm only thing i have to say the police need to step up their game with traffic control a lot when the fire truck is at the fire or rescue. mother of 3 and a few weeks pregnant paramedic was killed in an accident the police car should not have been where it was in the first place should the ambulance should also have been put not on the outside of the accident seeing she was hite but a semi-trucks when to get another bag of medical equipment

  • @garygeorge9648
    @garygeorge9648 Год назад +1

    Why would you move the hose across the street? It blocks any trucks from coming in that way! Get the hoses out of the street and be a little more strategic in how you lay them out, so someone doesn't have to use that much energy moving hoses.

    • @kadinwilliams
      @kadinwilliams  Год назад

      The LDH was intentionally moved further into the street to allow for apparatus to pull up from the left side, if that's what you're referring to.

      If any trucks come in that way they can just stop before the hose. You don’t need every single engine/truck that responds to stop right in front of the structure. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @hihfty
      @hihfty Год назад +1
