just wanted to say thanks Mr. Quadcopter 101 , you have helped me make at least 4-5 good decisions. Now i just need to move to the desert. Too many hills and trees here :) happy holidays great channel/info!
Im glad I bought the Inductrix fpv + from my Local hobby shop as I can just take it back and swap it. Bang good price for this knock off is not that cheap
Could you recommend another acro fpv woop quad that's a bit more responsive and a little quicker / good for indoor flying as well? Although I'm a complete beginner to acro flying, I wouldn't mind a little bit more power and responsiveness. After all, these kinds of quads are very light weight and have sturdy prop guards so crashing them repeatedly is probably not going to do them much harm. And I know as a beginner to acro flying, I would be crashing a lot but it looks like these tiny woops are close to indestructible anyway.
Hi, I had an unfortunate fly away on my first flight. It was stuck in high rpm during alt hold mode and i lost the drone in the clouds. If i buy the bnf version, which receiver should I choose that would bind to the original controller? Many thanks
What goggles do u recommend for this I am looking at the eachine vrd2 pro and the ev800.this is going to be my first fpv set up.so something easy to set up and learn
I have both, but prefer the VRD2 Pro. Video for all of my FPV racer videos were recorded with it. It also has a fast channel scan, big screen, and adjustable fresnel lens for better clarity for us nearsighted folks ;-)
But one thing to remember if you get the VRD2. If recording, from the recording screen, hit the record button then switch back to AV mode to fly. Don't try to fly on the recording screen or you'll notice lag. Once the flight is completed, then switch back to the recording screen to stop and save the recording.
Can i use my my imax b6 charger for these batteries I see the battery is 3.8? U know this charger has 3.7 1cell,7.4 2cell etc. So i guess it would still be 3.7 1cell to set charger and of course your right mah which this one is 500. Or do I need I different type of charger really like my imax b6 sky rc OG
You could still charge it to 4.2 V. You just won't be able to reach its peak of 4.35V without using the supplied LiHV charger that comes with the drone.
Here are a couple good 1S Lipo/LiHV chargers. I like the Venom Pro best, but the Boldclash is good also if you have a power source for it. The Venom Pro is cool because you can individually program the charge mah for each port. You can also program mah for the Boldclash, but its sets that mah for all the ports (can't individually program the mah for each port of the Boldclash). In a nutshell, if you have a bunch of different 1S batteries of different mah, then Venom Pro. If you have a bunch of different 1S batteries of same mah, then Boldclash. ruclips.net/video/sHYystEKmuc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/M0s4r7tu7uw/видео.html
By the way it is for racing you can take it to a compition and why are you saying the rates are slow common sense your fly outdoors with the wind but if you flew it full throttle indoors youll be wrong
@@Quadcopter101 its so slow cause your outside you say its for indoors then why dont you fly indoors then by the way if your in angle mode or acro mode indoors its very fast and yeah its for begginers but its not a trainer its for racing what was the purpose of this drone its for begginers and its for racing and you say its not that fast its because your outdoors try flying indoors in angle mode and acro mode i tried it and its very fast
It’s really telling of these Chinese companies Quality control. That they send out items to be reviewed and tested when they don’t even even inspect those items. I see this a lot from Eachine, Syma, furibee, Boldclash and JJRC just to name a few. Notice most of the reviewers don’t really skip a beat when it comes to a defect, because they are so used to1/3 to 1/2 of everything sent to them having something wrong with it or just plan non functioning. I’ve learned the Hard way Banggood, GearBest, Boldclash and others have every poor quality control. Most will eventually make it right after several emails video and weeks if months later. Most reviewers can’t tell you this up front or the companies will stop sending product. BUT LISTEN CLOSELY many including this channel will let you know when something isn’t working. Just know and order with that in mind. It’s 50/50 in my experience that you will get a defective item. Drone on guys....
Watch more reviews you’ll see it... Andy RC... UAV stu and grumpy trev... RC sailors... on and on they are constantly getting defective items... Yes LHS and horizon cost more but I’ve been in RC for 20 plus years and I have never got a defective plane or copter from Horizon or Towerhobbies... sad to see them go... don’t get me wrong on occasion I’ve order from GearBest Banggood and others just remember most of the time you get what yo pay for! Not always... keep watching and listening and you will see.
Yeah, you definitely had one with a bad VTX/camera. I watched a review of the same model by Albert Kim (his YT channel) and his video was perfectly clear. He also had no problem flying it thru trees and bushes in Acro mode, meaning that it turns fast enough, however when he tried to do a roll, the rate wasn't fast enough and it crashed. The large motors and heavy weight (for a 'tiny whoop') means it won't get blown around outdoors as easily as a real tiny whoop. However, with the E010S, you can connect to Betaflight and up the rates until it will perform Acro .. at least as well as one of these ducted models can do that. Unfortunately, even if you buy a FrSky/FlySky/DSMX version (and save a few bucks), you still won't be able to configure it in Betaflight. If a beginner is looking to learn to fly a tiny whoop style quad, you can find them for $15 (without camera .. but a AIO camera isn't too hard to add). The bad VTX/Cam on yours is a "black eye" to Eachine, which supposedly has a "quality control" (QC) department, but as I explained to a friend, "QC" in China does not stand for Quality Control .. it stands for "Quick Cash".
The items which Horizon or other US based retailers sell are all made in China as well. There are NO US made quadcopters and/or accessories, such as LiPOs. The main differences is, if you buy from a US retailer, and something goes wrong, you are *FAR* more likely to reach a fast settlement to the problem than if you're dealing with China retailers. You're mixing apples and oranges.
Interesting how you say a vid for "New Fliers" But presuppose all newbies know what the Acronyms are for!!! I't be like me telling you to watch N1 and EGT, but make sure you check the FCU before you pull the trigger!!! Is there a website for FNG's or is it something kept secret from old farts???
Congratulations. You are today's Notification Squad winner, being the first to say First. You win a shoutout in a future QC101 video. Again, congratulations!
Reading the comments it seems i just wasted my money?? I'm up in Canada -40 just want something to rip the mall up and the gyms. Anyone have at least something good to say? Can I bind it to my flysky?
It's great for new FPV fliers learning acro. It's just that more experienced acro FPV fliers may think it a bit too tame, and it can't be tuned to be more responsive. Unfortunately the RTF version can not bind to Flysky.
Quadcopter 101 ahh gotcha thanks for the reply cool well can't complain it's on its way :) was about to buy the eachine 65 but u didn't have the review till today lol
DeadlyDiddly honestly if you fly indoors it’s a waste anyways. If you NEED Acro fly a full size outside... Thats not what these are built for. These are for casual indoor flights or kids.

How does this compare to the Eachine q90c in acro? Lookin to dive into that realm at some point.
Except for the camera this a nice little whoop.
Do you use a lable maker or just write on white tape for all them transmitters
I write it on a slip of paper, then use clear tape.
I have a quadcopter it's a D44H do they stay still cuz I didn't really try it out
very nice info, thanks so much, and have a nice day ;)

LiPo. But again, it would never reach full charge. You would need to monitor it, and manually stop once it reached 4.2V.
m80 is a hot firecracker of a quadcoppter
nice little quad
Sweet no flying here today about 8 inches of snow
Thank you so much!
Does this connect to real FPV goggles and a real FPV controller? So I won’t have to use that toys r us crap?
Nope, toys r us only ;-)
Yes it do connect I used it with my dji re goggles ? Quadcopter 101
