I'm happy to see realistic journaling/hand-writing, so many of these youtubers really seem to almost re-write their whole notebook into a new notebook, all uniform, with the same pen, all evenly spaced and perfect. This is a little more realistic

Thank you SO MUCH for the realness of your video! So many journaling youtubers/bloggers make journaling seem like something you need to be super neat and artistic to do well. Your style for everyday journaling is very similar to my own - some of it is quick notes, some quick sketching, etc. Just putting whatever calls to you on the page without worrying about perfection. Probably my favorite journaling video ever :-)

You need to have 5 millions of subscribers! Ive been journaling for a while, i keep going on and off because I cant seem to make them “perfect” as the other you tubers do. I didn’t have all the sections, spreads and drawings, that made me very anxious and overwhelmed but yeah luckily i came across your video. You’re a great example of showcasing how journaling should really be. Not offence i do love the cute stickers and drawings that people do to their journals, very therapeutic to watch they setting up the stuff but some of people aren’t even journaling consistently and it is very very misleading to watch those content and try to make it beneficial. Awww, wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! I truly appreciate it! To be honest that was the whole reasoning for me sharing these types of videos.. I wanted other journalers to know that it's okay not to have that picture-perfect look. Sometimes "staging" your journal spreads disrupts the natural creative journaling flow. Sometimes it's okay to be real and raw on the pages. Beauty lies in the authentic expression, I say. :)

Lovely video! I keep my journal in a regular size notebook from travelers factory I think their paper quality is great! I always decorate my pages with watercolors first. I also use Washi tape, photos, and other memorabilia in my journal. And when I’m done I put some nice paper on the cover and put the date on it, I have a great collection so far! I really love my journaling it’s a great part of my life, and I try to spread the word to people I know to make them understand the joy of writing !

This is such a great video and you're so right about don't rely on your memory. I keep a few different journals and it just depends on my mood, where I am and what I want to write and I love your comment about developing your own thing, your own style!

Michelle, I love this video! It is so nice to see how differently people journal. I have to stick with my moleskine standard size or else I go crazy. I love how you allow yourself to be so flexible and experimental in your journaling, I tend to stress myself out when I gather too many journals. Absolutely love your free will experimental journaling.
