Thanks for the feedback, we did consider a battery but this would have notably increased cost, complexity and add thermal elements. There are also considerations for travel and how users may accidently store this. With this noted we are evaluating this for the future but you can simply it is important to note that the USB-C port is there for power delivery and you can easily use a compact compatible power bank for increased mobility. You highlighted this perfectly in the video! We are working on a even higher performing model for the future but we feel this model offers a great balance of features, functions, specifications and routing performance for the majority of travelers and mobile device enthusiasts on the go.
Can you plug an USB stick into the USB port and use it as a NAS? If I'm gonna buy this for travel, id like to be able to use it to stream movies at hotels
In some hotels, access to local Wifi is allow afther authentication (e.g. room nb + surname). Is the portable router able to do the authentication and then allowing access via AP to other devices ?

what about a battery bank backpack, that stacks them together as a optional item
A travel router without an LTE SIM slot is a complete let down...
nice product but if this one has its own sim card port Plus LTE capability this will be a hit in the Philippines.
your solution is the better one. THe choice to just have a PD port was the better choice. Thank you for offering without the battery.
all this is a waste of money, a mobile phone hotspot is our everything))

Looks like a great product and nicely priced thanks 😎
Can you use it as a node on a MECH Network?
Hi Does the router charge a tethered phone?
Great video 👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I think you can plug power direct from phone no need to use power bank.
плиз, подскажите пожалуйста, power bank должен быть строго на 9 вольт или достаточно иметь спецификацию type-c PD
So this wouldn’t work for road trips ?
In what way?
Yeah it works great when you pair it with a power bank.

Travel router without LTE SIM slot is a total disappointment...all this is a waste of money, mobile hotspot use it))
