- I found another Thyssenkrupp Twin lift in the Royal London Hospital!
A Thyssenkrupp Twin lift has 2 lifts above each other in the shaft that move up and down independently.
The Royal London Hospital wants to keep it a secret that there are twin lifts, as they don't want to put people off using them. Most of the staff don't even know about it. I THINK THIS IS WRONG, because its an amazing piece to technology, which they should be proud of. And it can confuse people when they don't know that they are waiting to move out the way.

That's interesting there are "secret floors" beyond the regular floors.
This sad fact that they disguised the twin lifts make me want to go to that hospital and paste a notice beside the Lift 5C's outer doors saying "THIS IS A TWIN LIFT! SEARCH UP THYSSENKRUPP TWIN LIFTS ON GOOGLE FOR MORE INFORMATION. THE HOSPITAL SHOULD TELL YOU VALUED VISITORS THIS,HOWEVER THEY DID NOT."

The upper car will have the ability to go higher when the lower car want to go to 15
The lower car will have the ability to go lower when the upper car wants to go to the ground floor
I think I know what is causing that beeping, if you look closely at the upper car's panel, its phone seems to have been activated at one point - maybe someone else got stuck in the fake basement and scared the hay out of someone, causing them to activate the phone, or someone got the scare in the upper car above the 15th floor, also possibly causing phone activation
It must have been the 15th because it was on the upper car

When it goes to the underground floor it should say UPPER CAR IS EXITITNG and when it goes to the roof it should say LOVER CAR IS EXITING
I went to the mosque i saw the lift BUT THE LIFT DIDNT EVEN HAVE A ROPE TO PULL IT UP OR A DOOR
I have a theory for the phone going off : person steps in not even knowing its destination dispatch because someone steps off they step on to take it its too late to get out and they go to the no floor access area and presses the phone due to thinking they're stuck

at M&S in the cascades shopping centre in portsmouth there is an odd furze lift and a really old evans lift (but it is staff only). At the norbury medical practice there are 2 70s-80s bennie lifts (don’t know if they have been replaced because it has been a while since I last went there. Also there are 2 strange old lifts at waitrose in surbiton that I think have had their doors replaced. (they look a bit like old goods lifts)
If you go to the floor lower then ground you should try to open the doors or safety break it or something
***** I'd assume that if one breaks, the other one knows that the lift is stuck on a floor (e.g.12) and locks of the floor it's stuck on and any floor/s above the floor it's stuck on. If the car was stuck on 1, you probably won't go anywhere.

In my country we have double deck elevators but they're not the same as yours so if you're going to come to the US don't expect those double deck elevators to be the same

That would scare me so much, I guess i wont be going to Royal London Hospital anytime soon anyways and they havent been approved here in the states to when I go to China in April ill have to see if my hotel has TWIN lifts

No. The beep is NONstop whereas the Dover buzz is tolerable. However, there are ONLY few examples where the Dover buzz is annoying, even more than the buzz but that’s because the buzz is louder and very long. Most buzzes are short however

above 15 and below g are storage places for the either lift. hiding a twin lift is a deception. upper car beeps to identify itself. they need an way out where 16 and B2 would be.

connorelevator2011: I went in that elevator when I was 5. The upper one. I was in with an old man who had a panic attack and pressed the alarm! But then it took us to level 8!
3:46 if that happened in my country, people would start to punch the door and try to open the door using their nails.....it happened! and the fact that the arrow going up is suddendly lit will not solve the problem. and no one is intelligent enough to press the alarm or call button or both.....IT HAS HAPPENED

Well I just care to record that TWIN lift. Now that I came into thinking is is not that beneficial. Like you said , you may hold the door and you are easly able to go to the top locked levels. I hope when I get there I will find that lift without locked floor hehe.
