- 2019 Harley-Davidson Road Glide upgrading from the Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 to our NVS Audio Stage 3 audio package.
The customer loved the fit , finish and quality of the Rockford Fosgate kit but wanted more volume and more bass while maintaining the factory look .
We added a dsr1 dsp

I have the RF stage 3 on my RGS and I can hear it completely fine at freeway/highway speeds with volume to spare.
Being a stage 3 that should not be in question. RF setups are for the retail customer.

look on a Boom speaker, rockford makes them for HD. RF stamp right on the back.

Hello Carlos, I just purchased a 2009 CVO ultra classic. As far as I can see the batwing has J&M speakers as well as the tourpak. The lowers are vented and have Hogtunes and there is also a Hogtune tweeter pod on the inner fairing. The sound is not bad but not as clear as I would like it. Oh, the head unit is a Kenwood. Can you recommend replacement speakers and a 4 channel amp? If you need more info please ask. Thank you and I love your work.
Liked the show. Is this comparison comperable to the RF Stg 3 kit out now for harley? I had iron cross audio put pre amps on my Harmon Kardon, but this head unit is giving up the ghost. I have focals in here now and was thinking of keeping them in, I want most loud. This speaker and amp still going to one up the RF amp that now comes with the head unit? I doubt I'll dig their speakers anyways, you still suggest sampling the model in this video? HD9813SG-PMX-STG2

Carlos I have a Victory XC 2014 and my question to you is, Have you used a Beyma Pro6CXND in the front fairing, what tweeter did you use ? I have the old Hertz ST25 and I'm sure they won't fit with those Beymas and I don't want them mounted on the outside of the speaker cover, what tweeter would you suggest?

You can hard wire it and not buy any extra parts
But American hard bags makes a complete plug and play harness for it and so does Rockford .

Use the Rockford Fosgate Harley Davidson amp install kit then just pick a set of speakers and amp the you like .
We recommend the sound digital evox 800.4 and the ground zero yellow basket coax or the hertz Neo coax

My question is, should I port the trunk and if so, what'sthe best way to do so? It sounds good but the bass sounds all inside the trunk.

Did I hear correctly that the evox can take a 2ohm load when bridge. I thought that wasn’t stable per factory.
I said Bridged it can do 400×2 into a four ohm load
Or it can run a 2 ohm load on each of the 4 channels 200x4

Do you think the DIAMOND AUDIO speakers is better than the MMATS speakers ?
Why You Mad depends on the application. I carry both so sometimes the diamond is a better fit and sometimes the MMats .
The diamond has a louder tweeter but the MMats has more mid bass .
The MMats is available in a pure mid bass with no tweeter but the diamond is not .
Diamond offers a 6x9 subwoofer
Mmats does not .

With the Rockford 6x9 kit can a diamond audio MP694 fit with modification?
That MD Guy yes , very little modifications too . They fit nicely.

So I updated the the audio system in my 2016 ram 1500 no factory amp with 8 inch screen installed new speakers a JL rd900/5 dsr1 with maestro harness. The system sounds worse then stock like the speakers are not amplified. I spoke with Idatalink people I have 3.9volts from factory head unit they said nothing wrong with the harness. I called Rockford fosgate tech support no help at all brushed me off saying if that is how it sounds then that is the best it will be please help

I have 4 pioneer 5 ways in my bags and 6.5 diamond audio in the fairing and diamond audio amp on stock boom audio system my music feels like it not pushing my 6x9 at all and cuts out when it’s to loud what’s my issue ??

Are your quick connects for sale? Or can you please do a video on proper techniques. I used a 5 channel audio bus as a midpoint under my seat to connect the left and right bag which house my (2) bag lid 8's and tweeters. My 2nd amp in one of the bags powers my 8's and the tweeters run from the head unit which is amplified under the fairing.. I basically ordered water proof 2pin connectors off amazon for every thing🤷🏾♂️ #stilllearning

How well does the electrical system in these bikes handle all that audio gear?
On the 2014 and up the stator / regulator is bulletproof
On 2013 and older ( especially the 2012 ) the regulator fails when you add big audio
We run upgraded agm battery for 800 - 2000 watts
Anything bigger than that get lithium
We use ofc copper wiring on everything
We solder all our connections.
No issues at all

What does an upgrade like that run?
Quick question. When using High level inputs into the sound digital amps do you just cut off the RCA's ?
From the dsp to the amp is rca only do not cut off the rcas
What about the mmats 4110 amp? What are your thoughts about that amp?

The it’s 120 watts less than the sound digital but it’s also $200 less ( $499 for the sound digital evo x 800.4 , $299 for the 4110 )
The specs are very similar to the Rockford tm400x4ad 100x4 at 4 ohms
But the MMats offers 340 x2 when bridged V’S the Rockford’s 200x2 and the MMats is $149 less . The Rockford does offer better crossovers and clipping indicators that make it much easier to tune .
I bought the Rockford stage 2 kit for my Road Glide. Will it require the DSP?

Unfortunately all the audio guys around here are pushing Rockford fosgate. I wish I was closer to you guys because I've watched enough of your videos to trust you.
Don't lol look RF amps are powerful if run correctly. They don't make speakers because there are other companies offering extremely loud speakers at cheap prices that RF will not only pick them up but the amps will stay cool. Example I have a 2500 amps pushing 2 15 they are 1500 rms each Amp pushes them really hard that I have to turn the level on the amp. That's what's great about RF amps that they allow to choose speakers. Some DS 18 on some RF amps you'll thank me later

Lenwood Graham we use a bunch of different 8s depending on what other speakers are used on the build to get the correct frequency response and to make sure the speakers complement each other and not fight each other. For this build we used eminence 8s

I need assistance. Just got my Rockford system installed today. Im disappointed. The sound quality is somewhat better than the OEM but the volume is good but not great and rear speakers are popping why is that?

@@dionne681 they lied to you. You must flash it to zero out the equalizer for Rockford system. Pretty much any aftermarket system. Gotta flash. Harley stock EQ only works on their system. Go to the Rockford Website and search for a local dealer that they are networked with, they will flash it for you.

use a tr4 to delay the turn on
