Always ran Coopers on the Jeep Wrangler with nothing but good things to say. Went to the Zeon RS3 G1 on my ‘19 Civic Si and freaking love them! A nice ce balance of performance and quiet comfort. These really are great tires.
Remember they aren't summer performance tires by any means. It's an all season ultra high performance tire. I buying them next Sunday at Mavis got a good deal. I have continental extreme contact sport for the track those tires are insane. Great to have to sets of rims 👍
Just came across this review. Im thinking of getting these for my 2019 Corolla SE. 215/45/r17 87w. I live in a tropical climate and our winters consist of rain, would these be good?
Your comment is 8 months old so it's likely too late, but I live in Florida in a location where it snowed once or twice in recorded history, and almost never drops below freezing, but I bought these tires for wet traction because they performed really well in independent tests. It rains frequently in the summer months so wet traction is important to me. Also, they were really affordable. ruclips.net/video/nYTSWHORbFc/видео.html
I live in Southeast Ohio and am inheriting a 92 C4 convertible. I am not planning to drive it in snow but Ohio's nature is bipolar 😒 would put these on a vett for a all weather performance tire?
These tires are unbelievable for the price I paid! They grip really well compared to my last Touring tire set and we just had a freak snow and ice storm right after I switched my winter tires to these and they still handled the severe winter conditions pretty good. Never got stuck or lost traction.
Darksyne - ok thx man. Very competitive segment. I've done quite a bit of research to talk myself out of the Coops but still believe they'll be what I mount on my GTI. Still got a few k's left on my oem Conti's which has been competent rubber but have had great luck with the Cooper Zeon's. Glad u like yours! Btw... that vintage Acura was a righteous ride. Take good care of it!
Just wish they weren't made in China though. I mean it feels good supporting an American company since Cooper and Goodyear are the last two all American tire companies that aren't owned by anybody else but I do wish these tires supported the American workers as well.
Well said! I will be sure to get Cooper Zeons now! I have the ultra tourings and the evolution winters on my 04 Passat and I love them! Zeons will be going on my 2020 Civic now!
Just got a set for 2019 Mustang GT PP2. Replaced the useless Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's it came with. Those only lasted 10,000kms, not good for daily driving.
I just ordered a set of Coopers for my GTI Mk7. I was feeling really confident about my choice until the guy behind the counter shot me a look and asked why I wanted Coopers. I'm sticking with my decision though. 2 more days until they go on.
Put these on my 5 series 235 45 front 275 40 rear. I only get rain and shine but I still have to give the Zeon RS3 hi praise, I just replaced my DWS-06 which had crap sidewalls, spongy turn in, unstable hi speed recovery. This Cooper tire is an improvement so far and is supposed to get better miles and was over $200. cheaper for the set than the Continentals.
I just ordered these earlier today for my 2017 v6 mustang. Currently I have hankook ventus noble s2 from the factory coming up on 23k miles. They weren’t very good all around and I’m looking forward to the rs3-g1s. A few years back I had a set on my 83 fox body and they performed very well. These are an excellent tire for the price I paid $117 a piece and just under $500 shipped to Firestone
I already have these but they weren't holding at 320whp/380-ish wtq, and then i realized how fuckin worn out they were. Gonna try getting em again bc theyre inexpensive and they'd be much better if they werent old as hell. Thanks holmes
Just ordered them on line on Amazon. 215/55/17 for my Kia Soul. Had Ohtsu tires. Anything would be better. I am guessing these will be a lot better...!
Nice vid Holmes! Got a stock '17 GTI and plan on the Coop g-1's once my oem Conti's are done. Had 2 sets of the previous gen RS3-A's on my Jetta wagon. Loved them - could not make them squeal... good ride as well. Cooper tires are boss. Your mods are tasty man - overall nice set-up. And your daily driver too! I love my ride everytime I set my ass on the plaid. Rock-on.
Great video....was looking for an all season tires and the coopers caught my attention, after seeing your video....I’m sold....Will be great for my fall/winter setup for my 2k15 MK7 GTI 235/40/17...thanks bro.
Ha my tires look like that on my GTI and I'm driving in snow.....surprising not as sketchy as anticipated. Guess I'm getting a set of coopers. Thanks for a good tire review. Side note thank god I found someone with a manual and an exhaust so I could get an accurate sense of what a mk7 sounds like with exhaust. cant stand the DSG fart.
@@JR14Channel I definitely Can't wait to give them a serious thrash in summer. I've already notice how much better the turn in is in corners then the stock tires were. I'm looking to get the same catch can as you also, how's your been thus far?
They do look nice. Why didn’t you go for a bigger tire since you are putting down so much power? To me the 225/40 are a waste once you do a stage 1 tune let alone stage 2. It’s all wheel spin. I don’t see many people talking about tire options for the MK7.
Most you can do without rubbing issues really is 235/35. The difference is negligible. Best thing to do is get UHP tires like Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's, if you've got 19inch wheels.
Great review dude MY19 GTi runs Bridgestone S001'S the road rumble on these tryes, just wondering what you think of the noise on the coopers my tyres have done 10ks will replace at 20ks big question which tyre to buy here at Australia?
You mentioned Bear Mt. I live north of that and cross Storm King Mt daily. Did you have any problems after making this video with snow? (Am concerned about going over Storm King this winter with these tires.) I have a VW passat vr6 4motion.
To be honest in the snow I did have any issues with drivability or performance. I never gotten stuck with these tires! Even in the craziest snow storms that we had last year
Constructive criticism; lots of repeated information. Not a single mention of how much these cost. I feel like the price is the only reason I would choose Coopers over some PS 4S. Also, I would much rather watch a 10 minute video that gave me all the facts and maybe some good B roll than a 15 minute video that pretty much summed everything up in the first 5 minutes and continued to regurgitate that first 5 minutes for the rest of the video.
Constructive Criticism; people that mention price in videos like this are stupid because the people watching are hardly ever needing the same exact size as the specific tire in the video. Prices are going to change quite a bit depending on rim size, ratio, etc. Also finding prices is a google thing not a youtube review thing.
Nice review - I think I’m sold on tires. Everybody loves Michelin. I always said the same thing there other tire out that don’t cost as much but are good quality. GS2Online
Look don't take it the wrong way my peeps. I wanted to know about the tire size. See I have a 2016 Honda Accord coupe Ex-L V6. I'm currently running a 245 40 18 on an aftermarket rim. I want to put a set of H&K springs on it. Oh yeah the rim size is 18× 8 with a 38mm offset. I worry about rubbing issues. Any help from you would be great. Thanks.
These are the worst tires ever, not these model but all Cooper. The road noise is terrible do not waste your money. 8 months in and I’m dropping $900 for new tires because by coopers sound like shit on my Benz. These are good for a track and doing burn outs completely terrible for normal day to day driving. Stay away. I’m literally butt hurt right now having to rip off my tires with less than 50% wear because they are just TOO LOUD! Stay away from cooper at all costs. Seriously. Don’t believe me google it. And trust the reviews not like me who dismissed them and wasted $$ anyways.
I just put 275/40Z17's RS3-G1's on my Trans Am, all 4 tires changed and the ride is smooth and quiet. Of course it's a sports car so you'll hear the rumble of the exhaust. I went with all season and honestly have no regrets. They have great traction control in the rain as well.
No offense, car sounds like shit!! but good video, thank you.love how your friend is trying to hold a conversation with you, while your burning up your old tires, haha...to funny!
35miles 😮💨😮💨
Hmm. between these and bf goodrich G force comps...these look good hard decision but went with BF Goodrich. We'll see
Always ran Coopers on the Jeep Wrangler with nothing but good things to say. Went to the Zeon RS3 G1 on my ‘19 Civic Si and freaking love them! A nice ce balance of performance and quiet comfort. These really are great tires.
Oh yea they are definitely a great all around tire!
I'm running Cooper Zeon's, too. Great summer performance tire.
NinjaxBart - r u running them on a GTI?
How they ride on an sti?
Remember they aren't summer performance tires by any means. It's an all season ultra high performance tire. I buying them next Sunday at Mavis got a good deal. I have continental extreme contact sport for the track those tires are insane. Great to have to sets of rims 👍

I honestly believe so. I have had nothing but great experiences with this tire and I would totally recommend it for you 92 C4 Vette!
These tires are unbelievable for the price I paid! They grip really well compared to my last Touring tire set and we just had a freak snow and ice storm right after I switched my winter tires to these and they still handled the severe winter conditions pretty good. Never got stuck or lost traction.
Darksyne - r u running them on a GTI?
Audie Conrad nope on an 2000 Acura TL, I stumbled on your review of the tires while doing some research and got these tires for a pretty good deal.
Darksyne - ok thx man. Very competitive segment. I've done quite a bit of research to talk myself out of the Coops but still believe they'll be what I mount on my GTI. Audie Conrad best tires for the price but you can get better tires if your spending $200-300 more per set.

I got these on my 2013 Toyota Avalon. They work great! I live in Chicago and we just had our first snow fall and they handle good.
Awesome! I'm glad that these tires worked out well for you!!
Appreciate it fam. Ordering for a 3IS.
Just got a set for 2019 Mustang GT PP2. Replaced the useless Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's it came with. Those only lasted 10,000kms, not good for daily driving.

How they do on the mustang? I have one and thinking about em for mines

Not a bad tire at all performance wise for an All Season Tire. I was extremely happy with them!
How have they been? Do they hook up?

Yea these things surprised me in the snow and especially in corners!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
My car has turned into a different animal. Confident feel and handling, MUCH quieter than my horrible Otsu tires.

Anyone know where these tires are made?
I believe that they are manufactured in North America
USA COOPER TIRES AKRON, OHIO
Great review, just got 4 of them for my Volkswagen!
how long did these tires last you?
Would anyone recommend these for a 2016 Nissan Sentra SR ??
I have them on my 03 maxima 3.5. Very grippy on whindy backroads
I just bought these today and they come in on thursday. I hope they're good.
Bruh you killed the older tires, lol. Cars sounds great. 👍🏿 WTF, who disliked this!?!?
P8ntballa - who disliked?? Subie driver....hehehe

235/40/18 is great on 18x8.5 with lightweight wheels like Konig hypergram which are only 17lbs.
Do you think these tires could handle a bit more "Ooomf" like a Mustang GT when there is also a bit of snow on the ground?
You need chains if there is snow on the ground with a must gt...always drop and float to the right on the rear. With snow.
Just started running them myself. Grips great

is this car awd or fwd...sorry idk anything about VWs
VW Golf is fwd.
Gti’s are fwd. a similar car called the the golf R is awd
JR - him me up, I have Dunlop Sport Maxx and looking into these.
I'm in Rockland. Got a White Subaru WRX Limited.

Agree, when you check on coopers, im pretty sure, you have checked the price and just trying to make sure it would be a good buy.
Tire prices change frequently. The size plays a part with the price as well.
Nice bro

nice! Hey how do you like so far the MAperformance DP and Tune?
We knew you were going to need new tires soon with all those burnouts you were doing lol
lol....that was the reason for the burnouts!!!!!!!!!
Cant do them juvenile things with a R and its craptronic parking brake lol
Friggin awesome

How's road noise?
Mike Cromley Just installed these tires on our Ford Flex. They are loud and make a humming sound comes and goes as we drive highway speeds.

I agree they suck.
Go with Michelin or Firestone for comfort.
19s or 20s with the springs
another tire con !
Corny 🌽 Boooooo!
One of my tires has to be replaced and have like 30k on them. Made in China will not buy again.
30k is pretty good
These aren’t Made in China - USA made in one of their 3 US factories and 30k is decent
No offense, car sounds like shit!! but good video, thank you.love how your friend is trying to hold a conversation with you, while your burning up your old tires, haha...to funny!

Learn to drive first before you another tire video ok.
Ok I mean I do know how to drive very well. I’m an experienced driver but thanks for watching
