Okay so I have something’s to say :) I’ve watched this series and it’s okay. It sticks with its original plots which I like. I’m fine with how Kory (Starfire) looks but her personality it’s the complete opposite. Star is suppose to be this bubbly happy character and they didn’t do that at all in the series. She is a lot more serious and dull. Rachel (Raven) is the complete opposite! her character is meant to be all dark and mysterious but they made her a lot brighter and talkative if that makes sense. Also one more thing, why would they cast a 15 year old as Rachel 😭 I’m sure I speak for most people when I say I would of loved to see a romantic relationship or at lest chemistry between her and Gar (Beastboy) but because she’s underage they won’t be able to do so which is upsetting. Anyway that’s my lil rant :)

Yeah man. I agree. Honestly though, first season I expected to be shit (I enjoyed it.) Season 2 (especially the last episode) I hated. But that’s because I feel like they tried to go too similar to the TV show too early on. The dark (some times over edgy) feel to the show was a good contrast to the campiness of some of the designs and such.

@@Valkr133 Actually, that's not true, and I can confirm this myself, I'm from Morocco and because that used to be a desert, many Moroccans have a red-ish / slightly orange skin tone, I myself am like that, if they got someone like that, it would've been much more accurate and probably as close as it's gonna get, and btw when I tan, I get increasingly more and more red until I can't get anymore red, at which point it feels like my skin is boiling and if you touch me it hurts so bad that it feels like I got a 2nd degree burn until it peels off and slowly goes back to normal so yeah fun fact, also starfire doesn't have actual fire, she has green energy

Why is everyone complaining?! I've watched this and it's great! The show is called Titans not Teen Titans. I honestly love this way better than the animated version, they made Teen Titans so childish and boring but this has gore and darkness in it. It's not a remake of Teen Titans it's based on the original comics. In my opinion they seriously mucked up the animated version.
Looks like they toned down Dick's overly aggressive attitude from the first trailer. He and Raven look fine. But Starfire looks awful! Just wrong in all sorts of ways and the CGI on Beast Boy looks terrible.

i am really a big fan of the marvel comics, that’s why i didn’t imagine myself ever wandering to DC. but this series really tied me down real good. this is the first thing i saw outside the famous ones like the justice league and let me just say how freaking great it is to have a live action of the so called sidekicks and to be able to see them progress outside their confinements. my personal favorites are rachel and gar, i love that their relationship is the slow burn type in contrast of jason and rose. i’d like to see more character development tho and some more fight scenes for the titans as a group in season 3. i’d love to see the young characters tackle more of their abilities, especially like gar, to see him shift into other animals not just a tiger. i really look forward to titans’ season 3!!! 😩

Started watching it. Remarkable that the actress who plays Raven is just 13 in season 1, what talent! Usually adults are used in these type of “teen” shows.
The problem is the audience, yeah sure, the characters aren't all copy and paste, but why does it matter anyways? It's a show, it's intended to be watched, not to be berated. I have seen people like this in every SCI-FI movie, calling out " isn't realistic ". It doesn't have to be the exact same as the cartoons or to continue the story as the cartoons.

Why is everyone complaining?! I've watched this and it's great! The show is called Titans not Teen Titans. I honestly love this way better than the animated version, they made Teen Titans so childish and boring but this has gore and darkness in it. It's not a remake of Teen Titans it's based on the original comics. In my opinion they seriously mucked up the animated version.

Looks like they toned down Dick's overly aggressive attitude from the first trailer. He and Raven look fine. But Starfire looks awful! Just wrong in all sorts of ways and the CGI on Beast Boy looks terrible.

Well it comes to DC Universe on Friday but Netflix has not said anything yet other than coming soon, so I think they will be airing as a box set later this year or early next year.
the UK and maybe the rest of the world gets Titans one day after the US.. but we get Venom one day before the US :) today! RESULT

i am really a big fan of the marvel comics, that’s why i didn’t imagine myself ever wandering to DC. but this series really tied me down real good. this is the first thing i saw outside the famous ones like the justice league and let me just say how freaking great it is to have a live action of the so called sidekicks and to be able to see them progress outside their confinements. my personal favorites are rachel and gar, i love that their relationship is the slow burn type in contrast of jason and rose. i’d like to see more character development tho and some more fight scenes for the titans as a group in season 3. i’d love to see the young characters tackle more of their abilities, especially like gar, to see him shift into other animals not just a tiger. i really look forward to titans’ season 3!!! 😩

The problem is the audience, yeah sure, the characters aren't all copy and paste, but why does it matter anyways? It's a show, it's intended to be watched, not to be berated. I have seen people like this in every SCI-FI movie, calling out " isn't realistic ". It doesn't have to be the exact same as the cartoons or to continue the story as the cartoons.
