Thanks, I thought this would be super comlicated but after this vid and some practice ive memorized all the algs and can do sub 3 minutes from 2 days of practice
I know it's like 4 years already and you probably already know how notations works but the way notations works is the face move positive is clockwise and negative is counter clockwise but because the down face is opposite to the top you see it as opposite from the top. Example, negative looks like positive and positive looks like negative. It doesn't really matter though.
@TheSimonShi i don't understand it when you switch the sides of the cube i do this alg /6,0/0,6/ i switches the blue and green side and when i do j perm to solve the other corners it messes up the bottom how do i do it please answer quick i really wanna learn this cube
How do I solve the middle layer if the top and bottom is solved but two of the middle layers are flipped. It’s hard to explain but I couldn’t find anything anywhere.
Thanks!!! I had to put it on slow motion 0.25x in order to get the parity at the end. Is there a simpler and more easier parity for the parity problem?
bruh i was at the last part and i did what you said and offset it by 1 but i didn't have the middle lair properly aliegned and the whole thing was ruined (i did end up solving it and not trying to be to critical but if you ever make a square 1 totorial again a heads up would help a bunch, still great tho)
Hey Simon. This is an amazing tutorial and youve taught me to solve my square 1, however ive got this problem where i have 2 adjacent pieces swapped and none else. Do i have to do parity twice? please help.
@@piececntr_puffy8154 Аз бях заинтересован да си го купя, но ми се струваше малко труден и затова трябваше да търся tutorial. Аз даже не очаквах да те намеря в коментарите.
my gratitude = 1 million u saved my butt from forever having a scramble sq-1 i can now confidently solve it
I'm never scrambling my Square-1 again!
I cant even scramble

Nice!
This took me forever to learn!
this tutorial is amazing thank you so much. I still have not memorized parity but i am working on it :)
My friend let me have his solved square-1. That was 3 years ago, I still haven't unscrambled the puzzle and leave it solved.
Oh finnaly solved my square 1 thank you😀
Could you make a pdf or website version of this? I don't wanna have to go to RUclips every time.
This is the best video of the other video to learn how to solve the Square one
That cube looks like a beast XD
@@thesimonshi No. Lol
@Nam Nguyen Lol
This was harder to learn than the 6x6 for me rip😭
@@wakkle Wow
I am still learning it but it would be awesome to learn this completely
Finnally I found a good tutorial. Other tutorial is confusing. Thanks! I subscribed and liked.
You help me get through half of the cube
Thanks, I thought this would be super comlicated but after this vid and some practice ive memorized all the algs and can do sub 3 minutes from 2 days of practice
Thanks. I got a square one for Christmas and this tutorial makes it a lot easier.
Yes, I watched your new tutorial on that too:)
Thank you you help solve my first Square-1
Nice I was just about to order one
I know that's where I'm ordering I'm getting the little magic btw
I wont
Neil K good boi
12:39 i realized on that (-1,-4), i think it was supposed to be 4 instead of a negative 4 since u moved it clockwise. Thats why i messed up twice.

Omg thanks so much I have finally solved it I subbed and checked out some of your other vids☺️
My little packet thing that came with my cube was so confusing. This is such an easy tutorial. Thank u for making this
very awesome tutorial really this is the best tutorial on square 1 on youtube very nice i subscribed and also liked
😀😀😀
A really helpful tutorial, thanks a ton Simon!!
Thank you very much Simon. You helped me to solve my SQUARE- 1
Squans are fun until you scramble it
hahahaha, very true!!
@@thesimonshi hahahahaha, very true!,
I ordered one! I will watch this video later on!
This is the only video that helped thank you!
@@thesimonshi XD
this is so helpful i just orderd one so i know how to now!!! thank you
You deserve a another subscriber
After One day I solved my square cube very useful thank you
Did you write the (1,0)/(-3,0)/(-1,-1)/(3,1)/ algorithm wrong? For me, it only works with a zero at the end instead of a one.
@@thesimonshi Thanks!
I came across the same issue. Whenever I do that last 1 in the bottom layer, it messes everything up but if I change it to a 0 then it works
@TheSimonShi i don't understand it when you switch the sides of the cube i do this alg /6,0/0,6/ i switches the blue and green side and when i do j perm to solve the other corners it messes up the bottom how do i do it please answer quick i really wanna learn this cube
For the top I don’t see it as a scenario but what do I do if the top is almost complete except for two diagonal from each other
Where did you order your square 1 cube from online?
How do I solve the middle layer if the top and bottom is solved but two of the middle layers are flipped. It’s hard to explain but I couldn’t find anything anywhere.
Thank you very much
I don’t have a square one yet but I will use this tutorial to learn how to solve it!
Is there an X man volt square one that is stickerless
Ok why did you buy stickered then??!
Kk
THANK YOU with you I solve the cube
what do we do when we got one side turned into a square and the other side is not a square
Sometimes I have corners that are in the right spot but they dont line up how do I get them to line up
For top layer
Simon thank you soooo much
Thanks! This helped me a lot.
Thanks for such an amazing tutorial
I'm debating if i want a square-1 or not
What’s your 3x3 main?
Thanks!!! I had to put it on slow motion 0.25x in order to get the parity at the end. Is there a simpler and more easier parity for the parity problem?
It seems like the green and blue middle petered are not on the right side I don’t know wat to do
Sorry if that made no sense lol I didn’t know how to explain but I figured it out
Everybody gangsta till you get parity on Square-1
When I do (1,0)/(-3,0)/(-1,-1)/(3,1)/ the side end up not being cubes anymore what did I do wrong?
i think it is supposed to be (1,0)/(-3,0)/(-1,-1)/(3,0)/
Thank you. This os the best square one tutorial
/(2,4)/(1,2)/(-3-3)/ is just like doing R U R' U' x6 on a 3x3, it gets back to the exact same position. im rlly confused now
TheSimonShi Ummm probably in 4:42?
I have trouble making the square into a cube
can you just show me how to put the tiny pieces together
I got 5 pieces so far putted together
bruh i was at the last part and i did what you said and offset it by 1 but i didn't have the middle lair properly aliegned and the whole thing was ruined (i did end up solving it and not trying to be to critical but if you ever make a square 1 totorial again a heads up would help a bunch, still great tho)
The notation looks like a math problem
To do a J perm I do /(3,0)/(-3,0)/(-3,3)/(-3,0)/(3,0)/(0,-3)
Thanks this really helped ^_^
TheSimonShi thanks(^ - ^
Hey Simon. This is an amazing tutorial and youve taught me to solve my square 1, however ive got this problem where i have 2 adjacent pieces swapped and none else. Do i have to do parity twice? please help.
@@thesimonshi Thanks but i mean they are opposite each other. Is there any alg for this? Sorry if i confused you
@@thesimonshi Ok thanks 🙏
Thank you I solved the square 1 3 times now
@@thesimonshi i got pinned !!!!!!!!!!
Simón shi do you know what Store do the owners of cubes sell a square one?? If you can Anwser the question do it later ??????
I don't know the difficulty of Square 1, but I think it's even easier than Skewb.
Nice
😫🤯I really tried
I just ordered one
TheSimonShi it was helpful so i subbed
the parity is kinda hard
how do you remember it???
alg. for getting into cube without pieces sticking up
simon:/6,0/6,0/
me:1,0/
Yea lol
But at the end, do the /6,0/6,0/
And when your cube is solved do this algorithm: (1,0) / (-1,-1) / (0,1) (3,-3) (1,0) / (-1,0) (0,-1) / (-3, -3) (6,6)
The last algorithm for the last parody, you wrote it wrong mate. It's /(-1,4)/(0,3)/ I was so stressed up earlier thinking what did I follow wrong
No biggs! My pleasure
This is very hard and...........LOL
nice👍👍
Who watch it without owning a sq-1?
Me. But I'll buy one this Christmas!
Soooo simple why didn't I find this before
This is the begginers method right?
