How many GPM are the spray tips are you using? JRODs and individual tips are available in 2-3, 4, 5-6, and 7-8 GPM. Also if the pump is shutting off its because the internal pressure switch is shutting it off and you are receiving max pressure to nozzle which will give you the longest distance . The pump is basically a marine wash down pump which is usually left on and shuts down at rated pressure (around 60 PSI depending on pump rating) when not in use. Doing my research looking to get into the business. I know pumps, been working in the marine/boating world for 30 plus years.
@@rusty.nesvig well see I have a P 40 pump that I couldn’t use with my proportioner because I can’t be of the trigger for more than a minute otherwise, all that pressure that returns starts building and it tends to load the pump too much hopefully I explain it good 😅
I know this was two years ago but do you remember if you used reducing bushing on the pump to fit 3/4 to 1/2 or does the North Star pump come with 3/4 standard?
I switched to 5.5 rather than 7 because I didn’t see a huge difference in the performance. So you’re saving money with the 5.5 and on top of that in my experience the 5.5 last longer. All the pumps besides the Delevan are built the exact same with the exact parts just a different sticker on top.
What are your thoughts on the 24V? I was wondering how different the 5.5-7-10gpm pumps would be, and you said that you didn't notice much difference between the 5.5 and 7gpm. What would be the difference with the gas powered one? I have a gas powered 5gpm, 5.5hp soft wash with proportioner and was thinking of going to 24V 10gpm to get more distance. Your thoughts between that or had powered? What gpm is your gas powered?
Will it hurt my Remco pump if I keep my battery charger on my battery while I’m washing?? I’m powering the charger off of a predator generator. Will it burn my pump up while using it
@@rusty.nesvig ok I went through 3 pumps in a week and I was wondering if I was burning the pumps up buy running power to the pump constantly from charging and generator power
If you google 2540 (or any size) Meg nozzle you will find a place to order online. I have them locally to me so if you have a pressure wash store close by they should have them.
You mentioned your suction being 1/2”. You should be running no less than a 3/4”. Also, it’s hard to tell in the video, but wiring to battery should be at least 12g.
I have 12g wire and that’s interesting man I originally had 3/4 suction hose on and it wasn’t pulling well at all. It may be that everything is pulling up. You have 200ft of hose ?
That gas powered SW pump looks like a beast!
That yard looks amazing
The Allen key behind the pump really helped me out
How did you do it and Why?
Just dropping in to say that Southeast Softwash makes the most reliable and efficient pressure washing and softwashing trailers I've ever seen.
Thanks for the love you guys 🤙🏽🤝

Thanks, Russ, we appreciate your video.
I would like the gun setup you are using
Thank you sir. 3/4 quick connect reduced to a 1/4 quick connect
Cool brother@@rusty.nesvig
I don't even have a business but a neighborhood side hobby, going to order everything to see if I can make this work.
That’s how it starts 👊
I’m sorry to hi-jack the video with a terrible question, but... here goes. What camera are you using?
Do you have a parts list and or build list for your softwash gun? Also, what type of tip was that blue one?
Are you rinsing the house with the same hose 5/8 hose in this video? Or do you have a separate hose for rinsing?
Rinsing with pressure wash hose. Not rinsing with the 12v hose
Hey buddy, if you don’t mind me asking, how do you have the P40 running with your proportioner without blowing off the pump?
What do you mean brotha ? By blowing off the pump?

Can we get a list of parts ? Such as hoses and reels and everything else . Possibly some links ?
I just looked through all your videos I can’t find the sealer bucket video for pavers
Hey bro go on FB and search Christoper Runions Page. He has a video.
How do you charge your battery and how long can you run it off one charge??
I charge it at home and on average can go for a week with no charge.
Love the content

Why are most guys using 5.5gpm vs 7gpm? Any recommendations for brands of pump?

Thanks for the video, would it run farther with 5/8 hose or not.
That I couldn’t answer. Possibly!
1/2 inch
You wouldn’t happen to know where I could unload a rig? I I have a beautiful rig but unfortunately won’t be able to use it anymore. “Please help”!! 😅

No not if you have a on / off switch for the pump. You don’t want it sitting on 24/7 that will definitely burn the pump out
@@rusty.nesvig ok I went through 3 pumps in a week and I was wondering if I was burning the pumps up buy running power to the pump constantly from charging and generator power
_Can I start a smaller setup with $3,000 or will I need to save more? Thankyou._
Cutting it very close but roughly that price range yes!
Hey Rusty ,
Where can I find those tips 2540, 1530 ?
Do you have the link.

@@rusty.nesvig thank you brother
What kind of hoses are you using and where do I get them?
The softwash hose is Kur Tech hose. You can find them online.
Who did your uniforms
if i leave out the check valve?
Hi Rusty! What size battery do you use for such a large engine?
Just a regular marine battery.
Who do you use for insurance
Seems like it takes a while to rinse with a system like this though
I dont rinse with this thing. I would never recommend rinsing with a 12v. I just applicate with this.
Use pressure washer for house washes not 12v
It's that a 12" hose reel or an 18?
18
How much did you buy it for?
Great video buddy 👍

Just changing to a larger suction is going to increase your distance. Mine shoots 42 feet with a 5.5 no problem.

@@brianstewart7560 do you have the same proportion as me ? 3/4 plumbed ?
@@rusty.nesvig I’m running gf valves on mine, but yeah 3/4

What’s your wheel and tire set up on your truck?
35 toyo open country on XD wheels. Put a level kit but still rubs 😅
if you go from 1/2 to 3/4 you lose pressure.
I put three batteries on my 12 v and my pump has been working so much better
What’s 35’ in English 😂😂
Three fourths
I didn't want the battery powered systems.
Trade that "ghetto" switch in for a "trailer park" switch, you'll get better performance
😆😆
