In some sense, Magneto's dialogue with some characters in their endings is very sad. Magneto actually just wanted a better world for mutants, but sadly with a extremist view against humans[and he wasn't totally wrong about humans tho].
@@DoctorBadvibes Theres articule in polygon telling history of development, they actully had person in the team that was obsesed over amrican comics and he gave comics to team for them to get the feel. With voice is actully funny because they got those actores 2 weeks before shipping because original voices got rejected because its been japanese people speaking english, so they did calls and studio that made voices for cartoon was 3rd party so they been very cooperative
Also, that reminds me of how much I miss the carefully crafted character endings in 90's arcade fighters, complete with pixel art and animation. Each character had their own signature backgrounds, adding to their uniqueness. It was also great that most of these games could be played as single-player experiences.
Back when Capcom actually gave a crap. Probably took a lot of effort for the Mojo and Jean Grey sprites (if you want to call them that) and they were just cameos.
If Jean Grey were playable.... Her ending would be trying to persuade Magneto to give up his insane vendetta against humanity. As he refuses, Jean Grey races back to join her fellow teammates. Returning home, she, Psylocke and Storm stop an attack by Juggernaut.
We all know Jean Grey gave him telepathic conversion therapy. It's even referenced here and there in the comics (but they suck now, so nobody read those)
@@barricadejay Inclusion is one thing, there's all kinds of people and that should be reflected in art. But why the absolute fuck would they do that Iceman. He's a horn dog! That's like making Human Torch gay. Just make new characters!! That was 100% a corporate decision to market to gay people. The ones who like comics were already reading!
He was straight, and then they retconned him to be gay, there is no mystery or secrecy about it. Nobody needs "proof", it was never a secret in the first place.
I thought no one can draw X-Men better than Jim Lee until I saw this arcade game back in the 90’s. Mind blown.
It’s like Jim Lee mixed with anime. It’s beautiful
This is totally inspired by Jim lee tho.
@@redrobotmonkeyI think both you and OP are right.
Sentinels is hilarious.
Storm "Stand back! I'll save the day!" BLAT!!!
X-men: *escapes Avalon*
Akuma: Die one thousand deaths!
Storm:
And Forge...
Thank you for making me come.

Definitely inspired by the Jim Lee run of the comics
💯📠
Magneto is right though, there's no real peace when tbe negotiations are between a knife and a throat.
It must be both knives.
I'm worried Ice Man was going through early set dementia at the beach
I thought it was a game glitch 🧊
Yeah, Ice Man is even worse in person. Let me tall ya!
Jean's sprite was so good. They should've made her a secret playable character.
I have a strong feeling Rogue in later games was based on it. Well, except the hair.
These were extremely well written/loaclized for an arcade game form the mid 90's. The dialogue matches their personas and isn't generic sentences.
They even managed to get the voice actors from the cartoon show. Wolverine and Storm are still going strong in X-Men ‘97

@@ShadowriverUB That’s really cool

They slowly started to deteriorate until all we'd get is a "Congratulations!" or something.
Fighting games today not at level of 90's Capcom.

Much more effort than MVC2 and Infinite for sure. Those couldn’t even put in a text + image ending like MVC3.
Imagine thinking this is giving a crap. lmao.
Before they made Jean Grey npc to playable in MVC3 as Phoenix!
nope
What do You even mean with the *()* part? Of course they were sprites 😎
These endings are great. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Wolverine spinning randomly in Psylocke's ending is the biggest what the hell moment and rofl
Akuma ending the best showing the mutants why hard works surpasses natural talent
The special credits and song are cool too
that is why i love his ending
3:38 - When you realized its Madelyne and not Jean
😭
????
😂
Delulu.
I love that love and friendship theme. Cyclop’s ending is my fav. Go team❤😭
Yeah, he's worse in person! Let me tell ya!!!
Pretty good writing for a game. Intersecting story lines. Nice!

That would be a rematch canon Fight for Magneto, he only lose against Jean...
10:55 Psylocke 🥰🥰🥰
Thigh-locke
The game that took all my lunch money 😂😂😂
Damm, those female sprites are fire!
Forge, Jean and all the other cameos should've been actual playable characters
The game that started it all. Only for the X-men to get the shaft
Very cool! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
So his ending further proves Iceman was/is not gay....his first thought after all the mayhem was to go to the beach and hang with some babes....
We all know Jean Grey gave him telepathic conversion therapy. It's even referenced here and there in the comics (but they suck now, so nobody read those)
Ice man was never gay til the crazies starting infecting marvel and interjected crap in the comics

Just curious, what platform are you playing this on? Is this on MAME, or the Saturn Port?
MAME in this video. Generally go with FBA with CPS2 games now.

NICE X-MEN CHILDREN OF THE ATOM 1994 ARCADE - ALL CHARACTER ENDINGS !!!!
THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, MORPH!
@@DoctorBadvibes Cyclops's ending is the default one.
Such a great game too
I love this art style. Also the acolyte costumes are very ummm distracting 😍
🤨You know they’re all. Men right?
Had this game on PC, i didn't have any of these cut scenes WTF? Was it because I got it off of torrents?
Possibly removed them to cut down the file size. Especially if we're talking about 20+ years ago
juggernaut?
Magneto was Right
Never beat magneto at the end
He’s absurdly hard in this.
some of these sprite decisions were awful
Need lovely 😍💋 💝💖❤️
Isn’t iceman gay?
Not when this came out … then he came out
Originally not.
@@DoctorBadvibes :)
COTA the game that started it ALL! WOHOOHOO!💣🔥💯📠
