Kraven: Kraven is going to the monster hunter world to hunt down all the monsters.
Attempts, and immediately fails, to corrupt a notorious devil hunter. Puts a hit out on his own son to avoid getting shot. Seems on-brand for Mephisto.

While I love UMvC3 and it's definitely better than the original, I don't get what happened to the endings as a lot of them are shorter and have like only 2 lines of dialogue

Many Marvel characters that appeared in each of the playable character endings, COULD get to be playable for a future MvC game, some maybe not!!
