As I was watching this, I realised how cool it would be to make a quetzal dropship that picked up and dropped creatures for PvP and carried cryopods full of rexes, golems, gigas, etc.
Damn thats awesome. Love how it shakes during the timelapse btw If you stand on it and press K for the overheadview. The qutzal wont be shaking... But the whole world will so it doesnt solve anything

The problem is this: In some places you start building by placing foundations under the ceiling. This "trick" is already known to us at the raft construction. However, we do not know what needs to be changed to work on creature platforms as well. We ask for help ..... HOW DID YOU DO THIS? xDD Edit: We also play on XBOX btw

@Aaron Longstaff Aaron please. There has to be a setting that allows us to snap the foundations under the ceilings. I cannot find anyone talking about it at all anywhere. I used to be able to do it when I played on a ps4 server but once I went to unofficial it stopped being possible. Then you upload something like this! So I know it’s a setting. Great work btw. :)
Just wow man. You are awesome. People who dont play this game full time do not understand the struggle of snap points. You make it look so easy, but the pros know the struggle of how hard it is to get stuff to snap in the right spot when you have everything very dense and on half snap points etc. Good on you man.
I just tried to build this and the minute you extend down by snapping the foundations under ceilings and they touch the quetz's head of body, the quetz and get up into the air but it can't be flown. It will not move, nor land until you remove the offending structures that cross the body below the platform saddle. Are you using a particular setting to make it able to move ?
@@sebastianol6451 don't sink the foundation into the saddle and if you have to extend under you snap a ceiling tile off the back of the saddle and go down from there. If it's under the Quetz then it will continue to be able to fly. I build another version of this now complete with a tek shield generator on either wing tip (2 shield generator s). Becomes a fully functional flying base with mods like rr-deko for example
You're provided the Jeeps, you have 2 Boat models, and you now have the Aircrafts...Now can you make a Submarine Mosa/Plesi, a Tank Parcatherium, and a Hanger HQ Titanosaur to complete your army? Imagine an Army of quetzals with plat form jets on them, it would be a horror movie ( oh and make a Military base w/ the jet & other stuff from the modern day)

But does it fly because you covered the head of the quetzal which means it won’t be able to fly so yeah it’s cool but it doesn’t move from where you build it
just downloaded kavan's missions and shop mod and am making a arena to spawn and fight alphas and wanted cool stuff in it so ima build this without the quetz, and the speedboat aarons made, kinda like a dry dock, ive got 16 ocean platforms in a square so this is gonna be epic :D
I can't build something like that. I tried a similar shaped build, and I found that if the quetzal's head is encased like that, it won't fly for me. It will take off, but it won't respond to any commands to move forward or steer.
