    Awesome! Long time no see! As always your videos make a whole lot of sense. These days my default opinion is that everything government and the media say are lies until proven to be true. Their reputation is shattered and they deserve no benefit of the doubt, none at all.
    Your opinion on bitcoins not being a stable long term store of wealth was right on target as well. The down trend continues and I see nothing that can stop it on the short term. The network is still growing though so my long term outlook is still bullish.

    Welcome back Lorax....One of my all time favorite You Tube Videos (talking all of you tube) was your "how to succeed investing"....finest piece of financial information I'd love to send to myself in a time capsule back to 1982....if i could send myself only one video it would be that one. What are your thoughts on today's synthetic propped up markets going ever higher...without explanation and with QE ending and countries buying up bargain basement priced gold and silver....any insights? Our financial markets have become a place where good is bad and bad is good...it drops my mouth is disbelief. Would you please shed light on your take of today's financial markets.

    We are the checks and balances to our government, yet we do nothing but talk. What about marching once a year, with few main topics as the focus.....such as polititians being lobbied by corporations.

      The reason is that we are distracted with many other "things" and there are too many "issues" and not all of us agree with, so we cannot be united under one cause.

    What about character and motive? When people talk about conspiracy theories, they usually talk about whether an event did or didn't happen. Understanding someones character and motive in the conspiracy theory is often left out. And when it comes to character and motive, humans are complex, their ethics and morals for why they do something could even fall on a spectrum. And when you factor all of this into whether a conspiracy theory is valid, it likely changes the way you understand the story.

    Sad, thousands of GI's killed for no good reason, thousands more with PTSD, yet Halliburton got no bid contracts to rebuild Iraq? Any roar from fiscally conservative republicans? Nope. GI's put in no-win battles died for what? Was Vietnam all over again, only this time people actually said Thank you for your Services. Military should have been smarter and said, Whoa, this is a mud pit and lots of good men and women are going to die for what? Anyone do that? I don't' know.

    Enjoyed your video, and I agree the focus should be on the things that are proven instead of the seemingly cherry picked conspiracies that are usually bandied about and are much harder to prove. Even so there are a few people below who would still challenge your facts and/or call your sources "nutters" and probably already have a bias not to believe. To those people and to all I would like your feedback, Read the letter I wrote to a senator, and tell me if you think I'm a paranoid nut, or am I being reasonable. You might find the conspiracy a bit scary so brace yourself!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    If you want people to not only be weary of government, but to actually think they may actually be a part of an evil conspiracy, please continue to be a part of a system that has no unified computerized way of keeping track of missing people cases in our National Park Systems. Please explain to me how this is even possible in this day and age.
    Do you know if you were to go missing in the city you reside in at some point in the investigation all the pertinent facts concerning your disappearance would be entered into a computer system? Anything less than that would be unthinkable in this day and age. Yet in our National Parks, a place where people have vanished as if they walked off the face of the earth, and unidentified remains have been routinely discovered, no such computer system exists. Are they hiding something? I suggest you take some time to read the book series (about 4 books) entitled "Missing 411" by David Paulides, especially the one entitled "The Devil's in the Details".
    Do you know what he was told by officials when he questioned why there is no such system in our National Park Systems? The official told him something like we rely on the "institutional memory of our park employees in the investigations of missing people". Do you know what that means?
    That means if I'm a park ranger and I have intimate knowledge concerning an investigation that happened twenty years ago that information can disappear with me when I retire, or am fired, or even moved to a different park, or Lord forbid if I should die or am murdered. Wait a minute, that means if I write down important information in a notebook regarding an investigation, all of that information may be gone and lost forever if I should lose that notebook. That means if I keep that information in a file in my office if it gets misplaced or stolen--POOF that information is gone and lost forever. If we have a fire, POOF, that information just goes up in smoke--lost forever. Oh well things happen!
    Are you government people hiding something? If that is what you want people to think, please make it as easy as hell to make important details about missing people investigations go missing or vanish by not having a unified, state of the art system in place for keeping track of these details.
    Now I admit some conspiracy people are nutty and paranoid, but in this situation I can hardly blame them. Why not think that within our government there is an Illuminati cabal that secretly worships Satan and routinely sacrifices innocent people? Sounds crazy right, but so do the facts.
    Exhibit A: You have all these places in our national systems that have demonic titles where these people go "missing". It's not just an occasional "Twins Devil's Peak". If you put it in a book it would be page after page of demonic sounding titles that have words like "Lucifer" "Devil" "Lake of Fire" in them. WHOA! How did all of these places get all these evil sounding names?
    Exhibit B: The details behind some of these vanishings seem well beyond rational explanations. There are so many unsettling details that escape all rational thought that it's hard to sum them all up. Read the books by Paulides and you'll know what I mean. Some of these details are ghastly. People are heard screaming as if they are dragged off into another dimension, only this is not a movie like the "Blair Witch Project", the people doing the screaming are real not imagined characters, and the facts are they are never seen again. There have been bodies discovered with their eyes so wide open you can easily surmise they saw something terrifying in the end. The details are way beyond spooky.
    Exhibit C: These "events" have been quietly going on for centuries. Paulides just happens to chronicle cases that go back to the 1700s, roughly the time people started recording these matters in newspapers. Who is to say how long these "events" have been going on in the past? Also interesting patterns that you normally wouldn't see without a chronicle such as this emerge. Cases separated by decades of time will have the same basic details repeating themselves over and over again, way too many times to be coincidental. These are patterns you normally don't see in our sound bite world of occasional news tidbits about missing people.
    So yeah here I don't blame the conspiracy people for thinking something weird is going on, in fact if anything I blame normal people for not questioning officials like you when these facts are known to them. People are vanishing, sometimes within seconds of when they were last seen, hundreds of people searching, search and/or cadaver dogs can't track, helicopters equipped with FLIR can't pick up a heat signature. People with years and years of search and rescue experience are left scratching their heads.
    Thank you!

    Interesting video. But Why call out conspiracy theorists for believing in conspiracies without full evidence of each one, when obviously our govt does these types of shady things all the time, according to evidence you've reviewed in this video. So it should be no surprise the lengths they're willing to go and it should go without saying that many times they'll get away with it unnoticed or without being convicted. The bothersome part is dealing with ppl who do not believe or who only believe in some rare cases..evil is working from every angle in those who are at the top.

    interesting video. never heard about most of these cases maybe because i'm not from the US. i knew that the reason for invading Iraq was bogus, there's so much oil in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia that they had to stabilize that region. And without 9/11 they would never have the public support for that war. They had to instill fear in US citizens first. That's what 9/11 was for and... I think it was a great idea! I fully support it. Some ugly things just need to be done sometimes and the western world these days is overly concerned about ethics...
    what about other, minor conspiracy theories? like the assassination of Osama bin Laden (and dumping his body into the sea right afterwards) or the very mysterious Sandy Hook shooting?

    • @Kenzofeis
      @Kenzofeis 10 лет назад

      You support the murder and maiming of a million or two and terrorizing and harassment of tens of millions for some oil, grease and plastics?

    • @nowekonto2
      @nowekonto2 10 лет назад

      ***** "some oil"? Oil is the most important resource on Earth, after air and water. Before we started using it on a large scale in the 1860s there were 1.5 billion people in the world. Oil, along with natural gas and coal make up sth like 80% of all energy that we use. Most of the world's easily accessible oil happens to be in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia. Any serious dent in global oil supply (caused for example by Saddam destroying Saudi Arabian oil wells, he did that in Kuwait in 1990) would have grave consequences. An oil price shock and a global recession would almost be ensured... so all in all, stability in that region is very important. Casualties should be kept to the minimum, but sometimes a war is necessary and then innocent people die, there's no way to avoid it. Back in the days when wars were more common (less than century ago) millions of people were being sent to death for reasons far less important than oil. So yes, I support it, Most people are ignorant and don't realize how much we depend on fossil fuels, they wouldn't have listened. That's why 9/11 was essential.

    dude.. i like your styles.. but you can do much much better than this video.. "conspiracies" run this world and have done 'basically' for our entire recorded history.. lets face it.. you don't like talking about 'conspiracy facts' because of implications of those 'conspiracies' .. EVEN if they are fact.. so who is keeping the conspiracy then then.. come one dude.. you would have a list as long as your arm with real re-searchable conspiracy facts so don't hold back !! People need the horrifying evidence (now a days).. go for it! put it out there, you would be good at it.. a certain believability.
    seriously.. make this video again and give it all you have got !.. please

      IMHO, lorax2013 made his point. Very well researched.
      Don't depend on someone else to inform you of everything that has happened in the past.
      P.S. lorax2013 was only talking about "conspiracy facts"

    • @KeyMakers
      @KeyMakers 10 лет назад

      TheBoilingfrog61 I agree he made a point.. and the video was good.. yeah Im not on you-tube sticking my head out there like he is so good on Lorax2013 for that for sure for sure!.. and I agree we should educate our selves a much as possible... and I try.
      Where there is smoke there is fire.. can we talk about the size of the fire by simply observing the smoke.. yes.. in fact when a fire grows out of control (i.e. very large fire), the only way to judge its size is my observing the smoke it makes, from a distance too... does that make you crazy for talking about something that is not directly observable.. no it makes you a fire fighter. :-)
      My point below is that Larox has talked about the smoke and avoided the talk about the fire that must be driving it... and this is somewhat conspiratorial isn't it? I say get right into it !! spell it out Lorax is good at it... go for it I say.. be brutally honest.. show that "conspiracy theories" do actually turn into "conspiracy facts", show that "conspiracy facts" basically dictate everything now-a-days.. what we have for lunch man!. .. sure its no easy task, and basically the audience will not want to hear the message.. sure, no conspiracy there.. again Lorax could be great at it tho.
      What is the greater 'unspoken' context here ? and what is the effect of the 'unspoken' part... ? examine the hows and whys etc
      For example.. what if.. just what if.. the oil companies actually had the power to control the patient office and remove any free-energy machine from the market.. gees wiz what if ?
      Most people are flat out not even aware what the effect of fiat money supply means to them.. how do all these "conspiracy facts" add up in reality... it all adds up to our life's right now.
      Yes "conspiracy facts".. that makes me laugh.. I have never heard that one before.. yes indeed.. its "conspiracy facts" that is what we have now-a-days and "conspiracy theories" are just for nut cases that cannot handle reality.

      Key Maker Yeah I could go into endless discussion on conspiracies but what would be the value? The video was to meet a need which is surprisingly rarely met. It was specifically made to forward to people who are attached to the mainstream view. I tried to present the most provable alternative view of the post cold war era in order get mainstream people to consider things differently. 99% of conspiracy theorists on the other hand push less provable things which are usually dismissed or simply alienate people attached to the mainstream view.

      Great video as usual.The Telegraph newspaper of London list the top 10 conspiracy theories-the top 3 being 9/11,JFK and Roswell respectively. Why not a video on one of those?(Don't bother with the Elvis one, thanks).x
