BBC World News Countdown 2009

Unlike every other, the music doesn’t just just end the moment the countdown hits zero. It actually gives a few seconds for the BBC logo to show up and end with a small flash.
That’s what makes it so much better than the other countdowns.

The newer countdowns have the music stop the moment the clock reaches zero.

the only disadvantage being that the higher pitched pips doesn't start at 10 seconds or even 9, rather at 7
