Long time fan here! So, for some reason I waited WAY to long to buy your original loose powder formula. I finally bought it this past summer to use at my sisters wedding (I did her makeup and my own.) Nikkia, your loose powder formula is MAGIC, I have tried probably 15 different loose setting powders over the years and your formula blows everything else on the market out of the water. It lasted over 14 hours through tears, sweat, rain; our skin looked photoshopped, blurred and perfected. It feels weightless and leaves my skin soft to the touch and I haven’t found a foundation or concealer yet that it doesn’t work with. @@gemmamaghoo3800 aww honey I’m sure it doesn’t look as bad as you think, we are our own worst critics aren’t we lol. I took a break from make up for awhile because I gained some weight and just didn’t feel beautiful/good anymore, but I hit my weight loss goal of 100lbs on Feb and started getting back into make up again and LOVE the sheer moisturizer type foundations!! I’m still yet to find a concealer that doesn’t crease!! I’ve tried Tarte Creaseless hoping that wouldn’t and of course it did 😪 I think technique and setting powders have a lot to do with it also. Do you agree and what do you do and use??
I have Nars concealer but yet to use it because I broke out from Bliss brightening eye cream and haven’t been able to put anything near my eyes in 4 days!!
That foundation looks really nice, the original is too heavy for me as I prefer light and medium coverage, so I might get this one instead! Awesome review Nikki :)
I just bought this from Ulta, and let me tell you… I’ve never found a perfect shade match before, nor have I ever looked so flawless in a this still looks like my natural skin kind of way… and this DID IT. I still need to fully wear test, but so far, so good 🤞🏼

I just love you and your videos. You are so upbeat, positive and hilarious!!! Double wear is my HG foundation of all time. Nothing ever ever compares to that baby’s longevity on my oily skin & I’ve tried so many others. I didn’t try double wear until a few years ago after seeing your video and I always wish I would’ve tried it even sooner! Haha.

I love the original too but for me it's a bit too full coverage, even if I only use a tiny amount. These might be good to mix together 👌
High-key wanted to name a child after Estée Lauder for quite a while because the original Double Wear changed my life. Been wearing it for 9 years, even though I tried a good 40+ foundations since back then. It’s the best.
Same tryed all new one only drug store that I compared is L'Oreal inflatable red not drying out one
I totally agree about the original Double Wear foundation, that's the best foundation I have EVER tried! It's so good that you can't explain it with words! And I did discover it through you Nikkia❤️ I remember that you did a review on it and after that I started to follow you everywear😍 But if it wasn't for the price, I would still buy the Double Wear. Now I'm using L'Oréal Paris Infallible Foundation that's almost as good, just almost! But for mutch less money☺️

I just found an empty in my stuff when I was moving (I saved it for my colour match)... the original is next novel! Never, ever have I ever used a foundation like this. Life changing. I haven't bought it in a while but I will be within the next week. So glad to see someone talking about it. ❤

There’s double wear light too, one of my faves. I thought it was discontinued but I see it on their site, i originally bought it at Sephora.
It’s got sheer in the name. Can’t imagine why anyone would expect a lot of coverage. Ppl are so silly sometimes. If anything, as someone who does seek out sheer to light coverage products, it has way more coverage than I’d expected.
I threw out 3 bottles of ESTEE lauder foundation, both the Original and the water one. they expired before I used them, so sad, but I have wanted to try this one ever since I have seen it in the store. Thank you for the Review Nikkia. Oh I have the pressed setting powder in my cart. :)

My go to is now the Huda beauty stick foundation. That is light as air. I have oily skin and with the Clinique toner and the Givenchy powder, it does not budge and is not oily.

I use the original Estée Lauder double wear foundation! Absolute favorite! And no fragrance in the original one.

@nikkia when I touch my nose the way you do after wearing it for 13 hours… I always get product on my hands how do you stop the products from coming off on your hands and leaving your nose red? I have been using Estee Lauder original double wear for years and it is my number one thanks to you. My make up always rubs off on the sides of my nose from my glasses as well. I use your setting powder. I use a primer. I just feel like no matter what make up I put on a can and will come off With any contact.
People always tell me my face looks like a doll which is hilarious because my skin sucks. I always say, it's the foundation not me lol. Just ordered this to try for lazy days
I will have to try this one, it’ll be my last resort. My skin is just so so oily, despite doing all of the right things to cleanse, prep for make up, and set it in place. My skin just pushes foundation off my skin, and that’s gotten worse in my mid 30s. So I’ll give this one a shot with my fingers crossed, before I have to give up on foundation all together 🥴.
If you have oily skin use a moisturizer with oil that way your foundation will last all day

I find the serum light/watery foundation is absorbed way too much into a sponge and you end up using twice as much as you would have otherwise used using your fingers or a brush. If required, I may bounce over it after fully applied with a sponge, but def imho and experience, a sponge just drinks your money away with these types of foundations. This one is def on my list, and I have yet to try your powders Miss NJ! Heard they are Amazing! Thanks for the first impressions.

The original is my HG , today i've wear it and I thought nothing compares with it i have normal to dry skin i use only a little, some claim that you need more than 2 pumps but I can make it work with just one , off course i have to prep my skin before aplying it and it looks just gorgeousssss for all day and I set with powder just under eyes area and I have really bad dark pigmentation and bags around them ! I am curious on this one too 🤩🤩🤩

I just purchased the finishing powder compact (already have the loose finishing powder and its my favourite all time powder! ) ,the black and burgundy sponge and some pigments from njc website.
Nikkia will you be selling the compact sponge in a bundle? Need a backup, when the circular sponge dies.

I'm so happy that you did this review because I've been thrown off by the mixed reviews myself.... I was wondering, have you ever reviewed Australian Gold BB Cream sunscreen SPF 50??? I feel like it is UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING. I get PERFECTION complexion with just that sunscreen alone, over Dr. Brant's pore minimizer! (I do first apply Timeless Vitamin C, CoQ10 serum and Derma E skin Restore moisturizer... THEN Dr. Brandt and the Australian Gold) I have combination skin, I'm 53 in 2 months, perimenopausal and my skin looks AMAZING with this combination! If you have reviewed The Australian Gold, please put a link in here for me! With your complexion I bet you would look airbrushed perfect!!!

I found this foundation had to have a specific primer and most powders made me look 50 years older, too. I finally found a powder that didn’t make me look 1,000! Have you tried the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation? This looks amazing on my combo skin! Was curious how you felt about it?

Don’t purchase this! I wore the old formula for so long and absolutely loved it. I have very oily skin.. tried the new sheer formula and I’m so greasy within 2 hours. Keep having to blot all day. Wish they never changed the formula:(

@Kereniina Fletcher, I live in Australia 🇦🇺 and must be living under a rock or something because I haven’t seen anything like your describing, I live North in Queensland and we don’t have to wear masks anymore as of the day before, I’m pretty sure where Nikkia is there not in lockdown anymore, don’t always believe what you see on your news over there, I have a friend in the USA 🇺🇸 and she sent me a news video from over there and I just laughed because none of it was true, don’t get me wrong, certain States have had it worse than others but the same goes for the USA 🇺🇸, more people are finally getting the jab. Kereniina, I wouldn’t say there’s no mandate to have the jab, some are being threatened that they could lose their jobs if not “V”, but I’ve not heard of or seen any sort of camp that our government are putting these people in, I guess it’s like over there, you have the ones that are pro V and the ones anti V, but I don’t like the idea of people being threatened to lose their jobs over something that is a personal choice to have and it effects their family livelihood, this thing is not going away any time soon, it’s just how you manage it, without getting into too much political stuff because that really is what it comes down to, I’m fully Vaccinated and I have done my bit, every vaccine 💉 has to start somewhere if you go back in time, if you think of polio, whooping cough, all those things from when our parents, grandparents had to cope with during the war times, there was no cure, until scientists got together and came up with a solution for all those kind of illnesses, I look at this the same way, people have no issues getting their children vaccinated when they are young against all these things from the past and if I can be a guinea pig in the process of getting on top of this then I don’t see a problem, I don’t want my future Grandbabies to have to go through anything if I can help it. You’ll always get the ones that are for and against certain things, even in today’s society, there’s still parents that don’t believe in getting their children vaccinated and that’s their choice to make but I know some daycare centres won’t take children that aren’t vaccinated against certain things. I guess it’s like a chain reaction…and Never believe what the Media tells you Lol 😂. I’ll probably be banned from here now Lol 😂 because I did say the “V” word Lol 😂 and don’t care, call it what it is. Cheers 🥂
The fact that the original Estée Lauder Double Wear doesn’t come with a pump is just ridiculous. They can’t figure that out with those prices when drugstore brands like elf and Wet N Wild puts pumps on all their products?
