You are so much fun to watch because your confidence allows you to show us your mistakes and how you fix them. That gives the rest of us confidence when we mess up. You are a terrific teacher!
Great save on your card, Kristina! Thank you for persevering, and for including your "oops." It really helps the rest of us get ideas for fixing things. Love the embossing on the "new" card front panel--I think it adds a nice touch. Great coloring, too!
Absolutely beautiful Kristina! Love the copic coloring, and showing how you salvaged the card front. I very much appreciate that you share what colors you use to color your images and how you color them. Thank you for the inspiration and sharing all your wonderful techniques. Hugs, susan
I love this card and I love it even more because you show how you "messed up" and fixed it. It is so helpful and so sweet of you to leave that in the video!
Thanks for sharing the boo-boo and how you devised to correct it! Very helpful and a beautiful card. Loved the marker combination of the butterfly. Thanks again for sharing your inspiring talents!
I really enjoy finding different ways to salvage projects when they don't really "go" the way you envision or as "planned" as you intended lol! I feel that coming up with new creative ideas to mask your errors or mistakes to save all of your hard work is an art form in itself! Another great video, Kristina! ❤️
Kristina, thank you soooo much for that "salvage" technique! I've thrown many coloring projects away because I thought they were ruined. Sometimes, it makes me feel, I don't want to color anymore! Thank you for all your ideas. God bless you.🤗💕
What a SAVE! Brilliant! You had me worried at first. I could feel the boo boo! But your coloring was intensely gorgeous and I can see why you really put thought into how to finish this and hide anything that was wonky. Beautifully done!
Gorgeous card and clever save. Sometimes my cards end up looking quite a bit different from the way I first imagined them because of things like this. LOL. The black really sets off the colors of the flowers. Just love the results.
It's the technical problems that test our resourcefulness. Nice recovery! And beautiful shimmery fairy garden card with the beautiful masking/layering and colouring and shaker bits. In love with this card. : )
Even though this card is totally beyond me, I am in love with it. The colors you used together are just amazing and then add some sparkle/glitter and I am hooked! You are so talented and inspire me to keep trying to improve.
a very elegant shaker card. and you covered your mistake expertly. thank you for sharing and keeping your mistakes in the video, showing that you make them and how you fix them, makes trying new things less daunting.
Love when mistakes happen to the pros and u explain ways to correct. Makes me feel like it's ok to mess up. Some of my favorite stuff has been due to a mistake. Beautiful card. Thx for the inspiration♡
Great recovery. This is one of the prettiest cards I have seen recently. You are a great teacher and I love watching your videos. Your coloring on this card makes it perfect. Great job!!! TFS
Just love watching crafters work through the creative process, especially when they have a "stuff up" - which usually looks great to me! You're inspirational!!
I love the card!!! I wouldn't have even known where to begin, to fix it. That's what separates the professional (you), from the novice ( me). Great job and thank you so very much for the tutorial! 😊
Great save Kristina! Love how you approached the problem to fix the card - and you know, I think it turned out even better that way. Sometimes frustrations can lead to something fantastic. Beautiful colouring of the images too :-) Thanks so much for sharing your videos with us :-)
It's nice to see that mistakes happen even to the pros! Better yet, thanks for giving us ideas about how to recover from those mistakes! Priceless information!

My 6 year old daughter and I loved watching this video together!! This card is absolutely amazing!! You exhibited such creative genius by "enhancing" the small glitches. :) Thanks for sharing.
This is adorable, I love the different color scheme to the usual, you are a wise artist, the way you find a solution to the problem you have, really smart!
First of all, beautiful coloring! Second, I love that you didn't edit your booboo and you showed everyone how to fix a mistake like that. Third, I LOVE this card! The embossing really adds a lot to it. Nicely done.
Love it and I love that you didn't throw your card out with the bath water...After all you had a lot of work invested in the card so I feel the best thing and creative thing to do is save it...Find a way to save it...and you did...yeahhhhhh pat
I love that you showed us your mistakes, and how to fix it. I ran into this problem also with the fun foam. I had bought the sticky back kind and all my shaker bits stuck to the edges😣 so I love the idea of the powder.
Genius way to fix this beautiful shaker card. You always amazing with your coloring. I've taken your online Copic Markers for card makers class, which by the way was excellent. I have to say I've learned so many great techniques. I just need to practice a lot more. Your card is so beautiful. Sincerely, Elaine Rico
You are just awesome!!! Your intent to go forward and make it work is admirable...wow!! And the card was worth it...it's just beautiful!! Thank you for the constant inspiration.
Very nice card (as usual) and nice save on the shaker window. I will keep what you said in mind and think about how I can fix my mess ups instead of just starting over.
Thank you for sharing & teaching shaker cards. I'm trying to get the hang of it. I have made just one but honestly it was awful. I do hope you continue making some more though; I totally enjoy watching and learning.
Hi Kristina, beautiful card, thank you so much for including the boo boo as well as how you fixed it. I had to giggle a bit because it reminded me of my 2nd attempt at making a shaker card. I noticed that everyone seems to be using funky foam to layer between the shaker elements so decided to give it a go using a Sizzix Bigz Mason jar die I've just bought. I die cut the jar out of funky foam first then faffed around trying to die cut the jar without the fixings on the side, after four attempts I actually managed it (next time I'm getting thinlet dies!) and started to layer the pieces together. Only problem was the funky foam frame was now smaller than the card frame so you could see it through the acetate! I can only assume it stretched as it went through the Big Shot rollers then contracted to the new smaller shape as I worked on the rest of the card. I ended up making a completely different card for my husband's Valentine. TFS x
It turned out beautiful. I found that if you set the die on top of your, project and put the fun foam inside the die it works better. Also, eithermuse liquid adhesive or the thin 1/8" be creative tape. You can then pull back just a tiny bit of the release paper at an angle leaving a tail sticking out, place the fun foam inside the die, the slowly pull back the release paper. I don't know if I explained it clearly but it works great. Lol
WOW, great save, Kristina! I have been struggling with my shaker cards too. Glad to see the greatest in the card world have ups and downs with them too....and show me was to forge though them. I like your finished card better than what the initial plan maybe was going to look like.
Wow - Nice shaker card and NICE save! I doubt I could have saved it, so thank you for sharing your process and how to remedy a crafter life's curveball situation :)
Absolutely Lovely Kristina.......Your cards are so magical. I have been watching heaps of your videos and just love every one of them. I wish I had found you on You Tube a long time ago, but at least I am able to view new ones as well as the older ones. Thank you for brightening my day each day. Trish from New Zealand
Your Copic coloring is beautiful. I have had problems with shaker cards too. I found a product at Impression Obsession called SHAKE IT. SHAKE IT is a shaker card pouch. The pouches come in large and small circles, squares, and ovals. They are a great solution to most of the shaker card woes! Each type comes in a pack of 10 for $5.00.
when putting the fun foam down, maybe you could use the small die to be a guide. Put the die down, then put the foam around it and adhere it. That would keep it pretty round.
Really lovely image. With respect to layering the foam frames, perhaps you can place the inner solid circle from the die cutting onto the image first and layer the frames around it and then remove the inner solid circle to ensure the frame is not warped.
You are so much fun to watch because your confidence allows you to show us your mistakes and how you fix them. That gives the rest of us confidence when we mess up. You are a terrific teacher!

Nice fix, Kristina. I thought the coloring and greeting looked really nice inside the shaker.
