Hi Ann, as with all of the super tutorials you put up on you tube for us, this is another great tutorial that is now saved to my playlist. You truly are an inspiration, many many thanks. Joe xxx
I have seen most of these techniques, but not in one video. I have all the materials to make shakers, just haven't gotten that brave. Your video makes me feel empowered to make shakers! Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing this, really different, kind of shaker cards. I'm such a spaz that I won't even try to make shaker cards! These techniques might help me. :)
Thank you Ann so much for this great video I am anxious now to give these a crack. I have to say I really enjoy all of your videos I find them very inspiring. Thanks again Val
Absolutely brilliant. Beautiful ideas. Love 💖 the tutorial. As always step by step. Thank you 💕 so much Ann for sharing your wonderful creative gift. You are also helping personally with healing to get back into my craft room. Just lost my way through a chronic illness with which comes I would say mild depression and anxiety. I know there are many worse off than myself so I feel I can say you are helping to heal many. Angel Blessings Lesley 💟
Hi Lesley! We don't know each other but your story sounds similar to mine! I'm sending you gentle hugs and hoping you have made some progress since this comment was made 11 months ago! Xoxo 💜
Thank you for this great tutorial! I seem to have a mental block with shakers, and use so much foam tape😢. I will try these, especially the fuse tool as I have one! Love all your sequins...wow!
Ann, this video is definitely a keeper! I’ve only known one method in making shaker cards (which is the method pretty much every other crafter on RUclips teaches). You are brilliant, as always. 🌷
What a terrific tutorial, Ann! All of your projects are beautiful, and I love the idea of reusing blister packaging. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
You can always cut your die out of fun foam. It die cuts easy and there are foam pieces that already have the sticky on the back. So it's exactly the same as your top intricate die cut. The foam flattens when going through the die cutting machine, then puffs back up again giving you perfect dimension.
@@PositivelyPapercraft Remember to run the die with the fun foam through the machine only once. Doing it twice, or reversing the rollers back will cut the foam twice in different places. It took me a bit to learn that die cutting foam works only with one pass through the die cutting machine. LOL
Lovely, I have always had trouble with foam shakers. I am better when I do flat shakers or when I cut multiple dies of the same type I find I can do it better but is more work. Tfs your ideas.
Love them all Ann. I've never used packaging before. Very clever. Won't be doing number five though, no matter how smart it is. I'm bound to burn the house down haha.
Brilliant video!!! I do reuse packaging, that one of my favorite ways to recycle! All the shakers you made in this video are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity!!! Blessings & hugs!!!
Hi Ann I have just subscribed to your channel and I am very impressed with your clear instructions and I didn't know there was so many ways to make shakers. Thanks for sharing 💕
Absolutely brilliant, and, as always presented with such clarity and perfect elocution, I can't wait to try them all though I have already done a few with the same concept. 😀 Thank you and Bless you and yours
Hi Ann 👋 loved all your shaker cards all so super cute and pretty thank you for sharing a really fab idea to use the plastic packaging for the shaker card brill my personal favorite was the tag card with the lovely bow 👌, have a nice week Lin 🐕💞🦋 p.s I haven't received it yet x
So I am laying in bed at night watching this and getting super confused - not because of the cards though. It’s because I just put my birds to bed but I keep hearing them chirp!!! I finally realized you must have Budgies also!! 😂😂😂😂 Absolutely love your videos. Your energy is so soft and gentle - I can’t stand loud hyper people 😅😅 so thank you!!!
Comment # 151 This is my 1st visit to your channel. Love the many ideas .. I never would've thought to use tulle.. so very clever!! I saved this to my "create" playlist. & gave you 👍 😊 Have you ever used the plastic off of sliced cheese (after it has been cleaned, of course) I save plastic off of frozen bowls... They are thicker than reg frozen dinners. I have also saved the plastic air packs from deliveries... Yes they're green but you can see see thru 'm. I was wondering do u have vid of mini shakers? I'm wanting to do one using legal envelope window but not sure how to do it.... 🎉 Thank you for your creativity 🎉 Posted Jan 7.2025
Thank you they are so lovely and I am sure I can use them all, off into my craft room to have a go. Please can you tell me what the little jar with a brush on is and where can I purchase it
Arh yes i no what you mean now! Its the powder tool for heat embossing. Here is the link www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DN66D36/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B00DN66D36&linkCode=as2&tag=papercraft08-21&linkId=25b74cde569132a8e211c98f36fec6d3
Great ideas for shakers, they are not my friend, but I will try some of your ideas. Hope you mentioned to the seller that the edges of the perfume bottle is too thin to put tape behind, they need to know these kinds of things!
Hi Ann could you use craft foam for the perfume bottle instead of card to give you space for your sequins ? Just die cut it a couple of times if it thin and then glue it on ,just an idea huni TFS keep up the great work 😉👍💝
When you say "That smells gorgeous" are you talking about the way the EK success powder tool smells when you use it? I ask because I LOVE it, and glad to know I am not alone. Great tutorial Ann. Have you thought of the adhesive sheets on the back of your die cut elements you are putting on the front? The outline shapes is what I am referring to. Speaking of adhesive, have you tried the new glue sponge yet? I need someone I trust to tell me it's ok, before I try it.
The birds chirping in the background is relaxing and fun.
Hi Ann, as with all of the super tutorials you put up on you tube for us, this is another great tutorial that is now saved to my playlist. You truly are an inspiration, many many thanks. Joe xxx
