Hey cousin there is one problem it is a damn doge :P Tell piper I said he sould of tought you better than that lol. But hey I have to say it has come a long way from it being a FL state truck that had like what 400k on a inline six. Maybe one of these days I will swing over and say hi.
your detail and paint is freaking amazing lots of work put into that undercarriage and under the hood look great shinney and all just a little loud for my taste in every day daily driver but i would know until i got inside and drove it it could be more quiet than i think
i think they can come with 318, but the truck we have had a slant 6, thing had no power whats so ever, so we took it out and put a 440 in it =P, go to my channel i got a couple of vids about it. doesnt look its best but it work even without a service for 11 yrs =S.
Great Truck!!! I have a 76' D100... I'm changing out the clutch in her right now and I must say it's a beast of a job for a beginner. I was looking at your truck and it doesn't look like you made any mods to the original engine or exhaust system. I for one must say I like it!!! If youdid do some mods please share

I too have a 1978 Dodge D100 2wd 225 Slant 6 3speed automatic. Sadly, it waits at my grandparents. The body is not rotted out though. Was that truck always a 318?
how loud is it exactly, is it deffening or is it moderate, like would i be able to hear this from a mile away? cause i need to have that sound but a little quieter.
what kind of exhaust system is on that? im dropping a 318 in my 76 dodge d100 and i want it to sound just like that when im done. so please tell me what kind of exhaust is on that.

I'm currently restoring a 1975 d100 with a stock 318, I wasn't sure what color to paint it but this orange looks great on these old Dodge's!

have u tried looking to see if the distributer has contact points? my dads fiat has the same problem. they tend to rust =S.
